Lately, I've noticed some disturbing reports suggesting that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) might not always prioritize balanced justice. Whistleblower accounts have emerged, alleging preferential treatment for certain individuals, such as President Biden's son, Hunter. Additionally, there are stories circulating about innocent Americans being investigated based on their religious beliefs or online statements.

After the Republicans control the Presidency and both houses of Congress disarm the entire iRA. They are a tax collection agency NOT law enforcement. Better yet abolish the agency and go ton a flat tax on the entire country.

The firepower and aggressive tactics will be unleashed on the honest, taxpaying citizens, not the scofflaws. They can't squeeze any money out of them.

The IRS has always been aggressive in squeezing the last dime out of people who owe them money but I fail to understand why they need firearms. In a digital world they can do as they please with a computer and the only thing they can't touch is cash and physical assets, which is the job they normally turn over to law enforcement. As for why they continue to protect the pResident and his son - duh. If they can nail you for online statements, we are all on the list so you have plenty of company.

Why, when reading it, did my mind wander to cartels and drugs? And whose side will the IRS be on?

European officials are enraged at the U.S. for its decision to bail out Silicon Valley Bank, according to the Financial Times. European financial regulators have ripped their American counterparts’ decision to bail out Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in the wake of its collapse, claiming they violated their own standards in doing so, according to the Financial Times. They are particularly frustrated at the decision to cover all deposits when they were only supposed to guarantee up to $250,000.

The New York Times faces criticism after publishing an article attempting to paint President Joe Biden as a young, vibrant man who never embarrasses himself or the country. Titled "Inside the Complicated Reality of Being America's Oldest President," reporters Peter Baker, Michael Shear, Katie Rogers, and Zolan Kanno-Youngs fawned over Biden's achievements, describing him as a "fit, sharp" 80-year-old who has "striking stamina." "The two Joe Bidens coexist in the same octogenarian president: Sharp and wise at critical moments,

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that he is afraid of a possible return of Donald Trump to the White House in 2024, before begging for more American-made Patriot missile systems. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted he has concerns about the possible re-election of Donald Trump next year, saying that he was unsure how exactly the Republican leader would have reacted had Russia invaded during his presidency. The Ukrainian head-of-state also praised the response of the Biden administration, which has regularly handed over billions of dollars worth of weapons aid to the Eastern European nation since Moscow’s invasion began last year.

Todd said it’s important for people not to “overstay their welcome” and touted his accomplishments of building the show into a “distinct and important political franchise.” “It’s been an amazing nearly decade-long run. I am really proud of what this team and I have built over the last decade,” Todd said.
Apocalyptic Peggy Noonan threatens ‘Trump Republicans’ 29 replies

If Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan decided to be a presidential candidate next year, she would be barred from the debates. The GOP debate rules include a pledge to support the Republican 2024 presidential nominee and Ms. Noonan makes it clear, from the opening paragraph of her latest weekend column that she would not back a Trump candidacy. Noonan declares in her lede paragraph that if "Trump Republicans" nominate the former president next year, "they will have ended the Republican Party.' That there be no mistaking her comment as mere figurative remark, she declares in the following paragraph:

Former FBI Director James Comey said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki” that he would not vote for the Republican nominee in 2024, even if it is someone other than former President Donald Trump. Psaki said, “You said that Trump poses a near existential threat to the rule of law.” She asked, “Tell me a little bit about the specifics of what he could try to do, what do you mean by that?” Comey said, “I think about what four years of a retribution presidency might look like. He could order the investigation and prosecution of individuals who he sees as enemies. I’m sure I’m on the enemies list.

California appears to be presenting the green movement with yet another reality check. Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom has set forth arguably the country's most ambitious state-level plan to transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy. However, when California's almost inevitable heat waves come in the summer and residents crank up their home air conditioners, officials turn on massive diesel-powered generators to make up for the state’s energy shortfall and to avoid rolling blackouts.

Asked how he felt about Donald Trump, Zelensky admitted that he was more comfortable with dealing with Biden and that the return of a Republican-led government could end up being difficult for his war effort. “President Biden is the president during a full-scale war and he has been more helpful to us than President Trump,” Zelensky told the interviewer, qualifying the statement by noting that there “was no full-scale war” going on while Trump was in office.

A former White House doctor for presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama has raised concerns over Joe Biden's health and said it is 'malpractice' to allow him to seek re-election. Texas congressman Ronny Jackson has claimed he is 'not fit mentally or physically' to lead the country and 'it's a bad situation for us'. The now-Republican politician slammed White House officials for allowing Biden, 80, to run for a second term and said those close to him like his wife Jill should be stopping him.

You may have heard recently that most adults—80%—are not getting boosted with mRNA injections. The CDC is recommending that everyone get shot up, while admitting that duration of supposed “effectiveness” isn’t great: Most US adults are declining COVID boosters as CDC warns of health risks: 'Relatively little protection' Hospitalization risk exists as only 20% of US adults receive booster dose: ‘Uptake has been quite low’ The claim, as usual, is that these injections offer protection against the most severe outcomes. Interestingly, the CDC conducted a self-experiment—unintentionally. I’m guessing they didn’t expect this outcome:

Taking time out of his busy schedule running Disney, Bob Iger flew to the Cannes film festival in support of Harrison Ford’s latest movie, even posting on social media snapshots of the aging action hero on the red carpet. Lucasfilm Ltd. had just premiered the fifth installment in its Indiana Jones franchise and a lot is riding on the fedora-sporting, bullwhip-toting archeologist portrayed by the now 80-year-old Hollywood star. At nearly $300 million, Dial of Destiny is one of the most expensive films ever made and initial reviews suggest it could bomb big at the box office when it lands on June 30.
