Our Man in Tokyo

Original Article

Some audience members came up to me after a speech I gave in downtown Tokyo in late April. They were hopping mad at Rahm Emanuel, the man whom Washington sent a little over a year ago to do its business in Japan. And what does that business entail? If Emanuel’s April tweets are any indication, it entails interfering in internal Japanese political matters.

Comments:

The heavy handed foreign policy of the Biden administration of gay, gay, gay.. is not being well received in Tokyo. Emmanuel should be recalled immediately and reassigned to Saudi Arabia where they will know how to appropriately handle this. Apologies to our Japanese allies. I went to Japan six times in my career. You don’t talk politics and certainly don’t dictate culture there.

Appalling behavior by a representative of the Biden "Administration." Making enemies everywhere they show up.

Rahm Emanuel is and always has been the north end of a southbound horse. "we know that liberal Americans consider themselves culturally superior to the Japanese" Liberal Americans consider themselves culturally and morally superior to EVERBODY, especially non-liberal Americans. It is an integral part of their disgusting pathology and why a healthy society should never allow them to have positions of power. Unfortunately our government, media, entertainment and many churches and corporate executive offices are infested with them. The Republic is ill and survival is not assured. Rahm Emanual alienating the Japanese while supposedly representing America is a symptom.

I apologize to the Japanese on behalf of our ever meddling government. You would think we have enough issues here at home to keep them busy, but meddlers have to meddle.

A bottom-dwelling lowlife who left Chicago in a mess, now meddling in Japan's internal affairs? The way I see it, he has absolutely no respect for Japan's culture and treats the Japanese as intellectually and humanly inferior to himself. He was a con man in America and an evil human being in Japan.

Mayor Bill de Blasio on Sunday refused to rule out a possible run for governor in 2022 — while insisting that his priority is shepherding New York City through the coronavirus. Asked point-blank during an appearance on CBS’ “Face the Nation” if he would launch a campaign for Albany after he’s term-limited out of City Hall, de Blasio shifted the subject. “I’m focused right now on fighting COVID and reopening our schools and bringing this city back,” said de Blasio with a slight chuckle. “That’s my focus.”

State officials have shipped 70,000 COVID vaccine doses a week to Publix’s central distribution hub in Lakeland in Central Florida, without knowing exactly where the shots will go, a Miami Herald analysis of state vaccine distribution data from the past five weeks and interviews with state officials found. The grocery chain — a major financial supporter of Gov. Ron DeSantis — is the state’s single-largest vaccine supplier and receives nearly a quarter of Florida’s available doses without providing state officials a store-specific distribution plan ahead of time, according to Jared Moskowitz, the director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management, the agency leading the vaccination campaign.

President Trump is down in the polls. The Republican National Convention is mostly canceled. And now, some Republicans are contemplating the unthinkable: Would they be better off losing in November and rebuilding for 2024? “The thought is starting to cross people’s minds,” said a Republican strategist who requested anonymity to speak candidly. “One way or the other, there will be life after Trump.”

An open letter to a protester. We might sit down over coffee, and I would start by telling you that I have done a lot of good things in my short 5-year career. I was the first officer on the scene for a call at a college campus where a delusional person was wandering the halls of a dormitory with a gun. In that incident, we found the person responsible just as he was about to commit a sexual assault.

Former FBI Director James Comey said Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that former President Donald Trump was an “existential threat” to the country. He also called the Republican Party a cult. Cooper asked, “Given the career you have had in the FBI, when you see the former president, now the frontrunner again for the Republican nomination, how big a threat is that?” Comey said, “A very serious threat to the rule of law, almost an existential threat if he were to become president again. He has tried to take a flamethrower to the FBI, to the Department of Justice to stop them investigating.” Cooper said, “You believe Donald Trump is an

He has been expected to join the race and will formally make the announcement at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday during a town hall at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. The announcement was first reported by Axios and then confirmed by CNN. Christie joins a growing field of GOP presidential candidates, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, South Carolina congressman Rep. Tim Scott, former UN ambassador Nikki Haley and former Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson.

Some conservatives have suggested a boycott of Chick-fil-A after the fast-food chain was discovered to have a vice president of “diversity, equity, [and] inclusion,” or DEI. In a previously issued Chick-fil-A news release, the company said that Erick McReynolds serves as its vice president of DEI, saying: “Chick-fil-A restaurants have long been recognized as a place where people know they will be treated well. Modeling care for others starts in the restaurant, and we are committed to ensuring mutual respect, understanding, and dignity everywhere we do business.” DEI is a set of principles that large corporations, government agencies, and schools have increasingly incorporated into their work environments, often mandating employees receive

'Kayleigh 'Milktoast' McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on Fox News. I am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up,' he wrote, using his nickname for Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis while misspelling the term 'milquetoast.' 'While 25 is great, it's not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll. The RINOS & Globalists can have her. FoxNews should only use REAL Stars!!!'

It’s more obvious by the day that Leftists have a taste for authoritarianism, but Hanoi Jane Fonda makes it even more obvious than others do. Fresh from calling for the murder of pro-lifers, Jane has now blamed the mythical crisis of climate change on the Left’s all-purpose bogeymen, white males. And what does the star of Barbarella think ought to be done with these villains? Why, they must be imprisoned, of course. Then, while the world’s white guys are rattling their tin cups against the bars, women and “people of color” can pool their efforts and save the world. Just like in the movies.

As Durham’s Report exposes the lies about RussiaGate and the truth about Obama using the FBI as his personal police unfolds, there is one silence that roars above the white noise of denial. George Walker Bush has not said a word. Not one darned word. He has been one silent lamb while the Democrat Party ran roughshod over our political institutions — weaponizing the IRS, the FBI, FISA, the media, the courts and the border. Hundreds of Trump’s voters were jailed over a protest at the Capitol over the counting of the votes and we have not heard his protest. Indeed, Bush has condemned these protesting patriots as threats to America.

The former vice president, a longtime advocate of the priorities of traditional conservatives on social and economic issues, will join the race at a time when his onetime boss, former President Donald Trump, claims a majority in most national polls and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is in a clear second place. Redefining himself to Republican voters, most of whom know him primarily as Trump's vice president, will be a challenge.

After sales dropped for the sixth straight week, industry analysts are likening the backlash to Bud Light’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to what happened in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. "This could be a promotional summer the likes we haven’t seen since after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, where there was so much beer inventory backed up in the trade that it initiated the price war of all price wars," Beer Business Daily said, explaining that "large price wars are often sparked by external events—in that case Hurricane Katrina, and in this case Hurricane Mulvaney." But the “external event” in 2023 is only hitting one company,

The boycott against Bud Light has been going for two months now since they endorsed transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney’s “365 Days of Being a Girl.” Normally, you might have expected such a thing to wane over time. Yet if anything, it seems to be deepening and getting worse. That doesn’t spell good news for Bud Light and its parent Anheuser-Busch, which was using Memorial Day as a marker to see if they can pull back any
