Lockdown's consequences: more serious
illness and deaths

Remember when lockdowns were justified by the stupid argument that they are worth it if they save “just one life?” Yeah, well. The consequences of the lockdown will, in the end, be the early deaths of millions of people, perhaps eclipsing those who died from COVID itself. If you have been following the story of excess deaths around the world–I have written about the story a few times–you will know that the West is suffering from a dramatic increase in the rate of deaths. Most of those excess deaths are not due to COVID, nor are they COVID-related. “Excess deaths” are the number of people who died compared to what would be expected

And then there's The Great Undiscussed Issue...Think of the 12M-14M people 65 or older who lived alone during Covid. They were basically issued solitary confinement prison sentences of 2 YEARS. The UN defines 2 WEEKS of solitary confinement as "torture." Enough said.

I had need of emergency care last March. 6 hours in a waiting room labelled “emergency”. No service, not even queued up. Fortunate it was not immediately life threatening. Returned the next day early, and got slow measured, careful, competent care (operation). It was slow. One young man in the non emergency room was simply there to get a second opinion. That would have been a waste of resources. The rapidly treated emergencies came in the back door by ambulance…car wrecks, od’s, gsw’s, heart attacks. My interpretation, if you don’t go by bus, writhe and moan in pain, fall out of your chair unconscious on the’s the only was to get attention. This hospital had plenty of “rooms”, but inadequate staffing left over from Covid.

Fortunately, we were and are retired, and other than the restaurants being closed here for six weeks, we were "locked down" not in the slightest. We didn't stay home, we traveled across the country and visited relatives in Mississippi and Florida, and the only issue was some idiot counties forced their restaurants to shut down. For people whose companies were thuggish, and friends had this, it was bad. One friend had to fight for months but avoided the mRNA shots. Eff their "lockdown".

"It's the Clot Shot, Stupid!" What about all the never-before-seen white ropey blood clots, some extending the length of people's leg? What about all the people who 'died suddenly' after taking the Clot Shot.... and were diagnosed as 'stroke' or 'heart attack'? It's hard to cover up the professional athletes who dropped dead on the field after taking the Clot Shot (the Media just ignored them) but what about the millions of others? And not just deaths, but heart attacks, heart valve replacements, and related issues in relatively young people? The article talks about a shortage of nurses.... how about all the nurses who quit or were fired -in any case were no longer on the job- because they saw what was going on and refused the hospital's demand to take the Clot Shot in order to keep their jobs? I visit a climate discussion site called WattsUpWithThat. Some of the people who contribute there have a hobby of examining large data sets, looking for patterns. Looking at the WuFlu data early on, one thing that immediately jumped out like a sore thumb was that in places where nearly everyone takes Hydroxychloroquine to ward off Malaria, there was almost NO Covid. In India, the state of Utter Pradish, which has a population of over 200,000,000 people, ran a very successful program of treating people with Ivermectin, a common, cheap medication that has been in use for a very long time. Here in the USA, President Trump spoke positively of both Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. The Media immediately demonized both medications, Between the 'Authorities' and the Media, it quickly became difficult to obtain or illegal to treat Covid with either Hydroxy or Ivermectin. The 'Authorities' and the Media instead pushed the Clot Shot, and the uber-expensive and largely ineffective Ivermectin. Aside from Moderna and Pfizer making obscene amounts of money, my gut feeling is that there is something else -something EVIL- going on. What it is, I do not know.

A passenger aboard a South Korean flight opened an emergency door moments before the plane landed — sparking caught-on-video chaos and panic among the 194 passengers in the wind-swept cabin. The Asiana Airlines Airbus A321 was about to land in Daegu after a flight from the southern island of Jeju on Friday when the passenger pulled the emergency exit handle at an altitude of about 700 feet, officials said. Some of the other passengers tried to prevent the person from reaching the door but it partially opened, sending air whipping throughout the cabin as terrified fliers gripped their armrests.

SUNY Hunter College professor Shellyne Rodriguez surrendered to police Thursday morning after brandishing a machete at a New York Post reporter who came to her door seeking comment regarding a video in which she can be seen harassing pro-life students. Rodriguez, 45, turned herself into the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx after footage emerged on Tuesday showing her holding a machete to the throat of Post reporter Reuven Fenton. She has been charged with menacing and harassment, an NYPD spokesman told National Review. Fenton had visited Rodriguez’s apartment in the Bronx to ask her about a recent controversy on campus in which she destroyed a table display set up by pro-life students.

Footage is going viral showing police precincts across Chicago overflowing with illegal immigrants, with many having been transformed into makeshift shelters. Personal items, luggage, and plastic bags litter the precincts as illegal immigrants carve out areas with bedding in the precincts, according to a report citing videographer Rebecca Brannon. Brannon filmed the scenes on Sunday, and immigrants can be seen listening to music while children scurry around playing. Numerous Chicago police stations are serving as makeshift shelters for migrants and are dealing with bed bugs, illnesses, food and basic healthcare shortages," she tweeted.

President Biden is taking his case for tougher gun limits directly to the American public, writing in an op-ed that his power is limited and Congress must “do more.” Mr. Biden, writing in USA Today, said last year’s bipartisan bill to expand background checks for young people and red flag laws that remove guns from those who are a danger to themselves or others was just a good start, and he is exploring executive action to rein in firearms. “My power is not absolute. Congress must act, including by banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, requiring gun owners to securely store their firearms, requiring background checks for all gun sales, and repealing

US border agents apprehended a record-breaking 67,759 illegal migrants in the past week alone — including sex offenders and gang members — as well as a massive stash of fentanyl, officials said Friday. Another 15,780 illegal migrants eluded capture, tweeted US Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz. Among those caught were five sex-offenders, four gang members and two felons, authorities said. Agents also seized 56 pounds of fentanyl, 179 pounds of methamphetamine, 34 pounds of cocaine, five pounds of heroin and seven firearms. Border officials have struggled to manage an overwhelming surge in illegal immigration after the expiration of the Title 42 public-health order, which allowed for expedited deportations during the coronavirus crisis.

People with normal brains look at pictures of cities like Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco — large blue outhouses that have been gutted by years of commie dominance — and wonder how their citizens can keep voting for Democrats who brought the carnage and blight to their doorsteps. Not only do they repeat this pattern for most of their lives, they think you’re trash for not agreeing with them. The very same grant that Trump got canceled for obvious reasons. A great injustice, that was. The Biden Administration has renewed it, and the EcoHealt Alliance is shouting from the rooftops how wonderful it is that they are back in the Coronavirus business. No, I am not joking. But what makes the chokehold death of Jordan Neely — a sometimes-violent, regularly menacing subway presence with severe mental-health issues — stand out so much that it provokes progressive tantrums? After all, as the estimable Nicole Gelinas detailed in these pages last week, 27 others have met violent ends in the subway system since 2020 without generating a ripple of interest among New York’s anarcho-activists.
