Two young men were killed and five others seriously injured when gunfire broke out late Saturday at a gathering just north of the US-Mexico border in Arizona. All of the victims were men between the ages of 15 and 20, Fox 10 reported. The two men killed were ages 19 and 20 and died at the Yuma Regional Medical Center. A 16-year-old boy was flown to Phoenix in critical condition. The four other hurt males — ages 15, 16, 18 and 19 — are expected to survive. Police in Yuma received a call about an aggravated assault just before 11 p.m., ABC News reported.

I hope the dead and injured weren't Border Control or Americanos. Otherwise, I can't express my emotions here. Send this one to Rehoboth Beach - Special Delivery.

President Biden is taking his case for tougher gun limits directly to the American public, writing in an op-ed that his power is limited and Congress must “do more.” Mr. Biden, writing in USA Today, said last year’s bipartisan bill to expand background checks for young people and red flag laws that remove guns from those who are a danger to themselves or others was just a good start, and he is exploring executive action to rein in firearms. “My power is not absolute. Congress must act, including by banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, requiring gun owners to securely store their firearms, requiring background checks for all gun sales, and repealing

As RedState previously reported, Rep. James Comer and other Republicans in both the House and Senate are currently in the midst of an investigation into an alleged bribery scheme involving the Biden family. Specifically, the FBI is in possession of a 1023 form that includes supposed evidence and witness testimony to that effect. But while the FBI has not denied that they have the form, they have attempted to stonewall, claiming confidentiality concerns. Now, another roadblock has appeared. According to Comer, some witnesses have gone missing while others are in jail, and the FBI is refusing to assist in locating them.

US border agents apprehended a record-breaking 67,759 illegal migrants in the past week alone — including sex offenders and gang members — as well as a massive stash of fentanyl, officials said Friday. Another 15,780 illegal migrants eluded capture, tweeted US Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz. Among those caught were five sex-offenders, four gang members and two felons, authorities said. Agents also seized 56 pounds of fentanyl, 179 pounds of methamphetamine, 34 pounds of cocaine, five pounds of heroin and seven firearms. Border officials have struggled to manage an overwhelming surge in illegal immigration after the expiration of the Title 42 public-health order, which allowed for expedited deportations during the coronavirus crisis.

People with normal brains look at pictures of cities like Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco — large blue outhouses that have been gutted by years of commie dominance — and wonder how their citizens can keep voting for Democrats who brought the carnage and blight to their doorsteps. Not only do they repeat this pattern for most of their lives, they think you’re trash for not agreeing with them. As a former New York City liberal, I have some insight as to how — and why — white leftists close their eyes to reality and continue to vote to turn their towns into garderobes. The commie pimp hand is strong and exercises complete

Well, ain’t that a kicker? Ready for the next pandemic? The EcoHealth Alliance, the group that funded gain-of-function research that could well have led to the COVID-19 outbreak, just got a grant renewal from the National Institutes of Health to study coronavirus outbreaks. The very same grant that Trump got canceled for obvious reasons. A great injustice, that was. The Biden Administration has renewed it, and the EcoHealt Alliance is shouting from the rooftops how wonderful it is that they are back in the Coronavirus business. No, I am not joking. I guess the destruction that COVID-19 and the government’s response wasn’t apocalyptic enough, so it’s time for round 2.

A gaggle of the usual suspects brought a bit of anarchy to the Upper East Side Saturday, hopping down to subway tracks to protest the demise of an afflicted fellow not one of them gave a damn about when he was alive. But what makes the chokehold death of Jordan Neely — a sometimes-violent, regularly menacing subway presence with severe mental-health issues — stand out so much that it provokes progressive tantrums? After all, as the estimable Nicole Gelinas detailed in these pages last week, 27 others have met violent ends in the subway system since 2020 without generating a ripple of interest among New York’s anarcho-activists.

Hollywood’s new diversity rules are making one actor sick. Legendary actor Richard Dreyfuss condemned the inclusivity changes that will be implemented for next year’s Oscars, saying the new standards “make me vomit.” “This is an art form. It’s also a form of commerce, and it makes money. But it’s an art,” Dreyfuss said on PBS’ “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover.” “And no one should be telling me as an artist that I have to give in to the latest, most current idea of what morality is.”[snip] Starting in 2024, a film has to meet certain diversity and inclusion standards in four different categories set out by the Academy

The old cultural imperialism was supposedly greedy corporatism like Disneyland, McDonald's, and Starbucks sprouting up worldwide to supplant local competitors. But these businesses spread because they appealed to free-will consumer demand abroad. They were not imposed top down. The U.S. presence in Afghanistan collapsed in August 2021 amid the greatest American military humiliation in modern history. A billion-dollar new embassy was abandoned. Hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of new infrastructure at the huge Bagram Airbase was dumped. We still do not know how many billions of dollars of sophisticated new weapons were left to the Taliban and now are making their way through global terrorists' marts.

Black drivers in Florida are nearly three times more likely to be ticketed by police and sheriff’s deputies under a law that allowed law enforcement to cite drivers for loud music starting last year, according to a new analysis of traffic data and court records. The analysis showed that Black drivers received almost 37% of the tickets, despite Black people making up only about 16% of Florida's driving-eligible population. Law enforcement cited Black drivers at a rate of just over 11 tickets per 100,000 Black drivers, and cited white drivers at a rate of 3.9 tickets per 100,000 white drivers.
