Technical issues are plaguing the highly anticipated presidential campaign launch of Gov. Ron DeSantis, as the Twitter Spaces audio continued to cut out prior to DeSantis even being introduced.
The Twitter Spaces call, scheduled to launch at 6 p.m. Eastern, began several minutes late as one unidentified voice whispered that it was “quiet.” David Sacks, the entrepreneur hosting the event, began to introduce Elon Musk and asserted that this was “historic” before the audio cut out. From then on, the audio continued to cut in out several times, with continued echoing and seemingly random voices — not the voice of the governor,

The mischaracterization of this glitch as a political failure is absurd. The reason it failed was the massive numbers of people that overloaded the system wanting to see and hear DeSantis. That's a bad thing?
It in fact shows there's a pent up demand for competent, no-drama governing. And, at a minimum, many people want to hear what he has to say.

#7 is right. And the hundreds of thousands who waited for the show to begin were.not disappointed. There was at least an hour of substantive discussion and questions with answers by a candidate who clearly knows the issues and what's needed to get the country back on track. Plus he talks like a normal human being and doesn't need to be coddled.

now 14 million have listened in - not put off by growing pains of Twitter Spaces which has become a place for conversations for the many. i listened to the whole hour and liked the lack of 'gotcha' traps, information straight up - and was impressed that neither Musk nor DeS was put off by rocky start. they forged ahead - and delivered to the serious voter. amazing so few knew about new Spaces - i'm a senior and knew of its pending roll-out, but i do follow Musk on Twitter.

Nobody at Twitter ran a high end stress test of that environment, did they? The customer can test it for us! Good help is hard to find, Ron. Just ask Trump.

Didn't watch television all day yesterday...so I'm just learning that sanctimonious had some difficulties...not a surprise...my cable has trouble most every night with Newsman...jamming and voices scrambled....I chalk it up to some munchkins at the computers causing trouble especially when topics cover things the left doesn't like...no worries...I always have Truth Social to rely on for the latest.....

And, if I were a DeSantis campaign advisor, I could not have written a better Trump response; incoherent, juvenile, childish.

I watched Tim Scott's message on Newsmax yesterday. He was having microphone problems, but I don't think it was connected to the Twitter problem. Hmm.

Hope they checked the worker bees and made sure there were no liberals/democraps in hiding...sounds like sabotage to me...but what do I know, I always thought Bitme was a crime lord, the election was stolen, Biteme was a sockpuppet for Obama, they were seeding the clouds and there are ufo's, and they are dragging out women from the liberal closet to accuse Trump of stealing their parking space or whatever...
