The scandal that's hit America and will
be bigger than Watergate

The current reports of executive branch illegality make Watergate look like kindergarten mischief. It is clear from the Durham report and the work of House Republican hearings that the current scandals in the Biden White House – and senior bureaucracies at the Justice Department, IRS, and elsewhere – are much deeper and more cancerous than Watergate ever was. It may be hard to remember, but Watergate came about due to a weird, dumb, and fairly narrow set of criminal behaviors which mushroomed into 69 officials being indicted and 48 imprisoned. I remember Watergate vividly, because I first ran for Congress in 1974 during the Watergate scandal.

Yes, Watergate was child’s play compared to today’s corruption. But what’s different this time is the deep state and the media are involved in it, support the corrupt actors and are conspiring to keep it buried and keep the, selves in power. Whereas in Watergate, the deep state and media were aligned against Nixon, conspired together to inflame it and brought him down.

I remember the time of Watergate and Nixon's resignation -- I graduated from High School that year. In 1972, we had a project in history/civics class to predict the election, state by state. I went to what was then considered to be an "alternative" high school -- a boarding school with a very liberal edge. Some of my classmates were even predicting George McGovern to win the election. I predicted it pretty much on the mark. DC and Mass. for McGovern. I didn't call my home state at the time, WIsconsin. But everything else went for Nixon. Anyway, when the problems were building on Nixon, I remember the time a number of Republican Senators visited the White House, including Barry Goldwater. At that meeting, the GOP Senators told Nixon that his chances of surviving an impeachment trial (the House Committee had voted articles of impeachment, but the full House had not acted on them) was not good. And Goldwater, among a few others told Nixon that he wasn't sure that he could vote fort acquittal. Nixon resigned a couple of weeks later. Sadly, our Democrat friends do not have statesmen like Goldwater and others. We can agree to disagree on political issues of the day -- and we did back then as well. But sadly, we have a press that protects its favored parties and a Democrat party that is drunk with power and demands more power every day.

Sorry, Newt, these Biden criminals and many others are above the law. The MSM continues to ensure that. The Democrat party has electoral vote fraud judges seemingly on retainer to reject all claims of rigging, and so it is with illegal behavior by high-ranking government officials. In 1789 Paris mobs began their own purge of these types. Maximillian Robespierre went overboard in this endeavor, but many elites were able to scoot off to England and elsewhere in Europe.

#1, I agree completely and we are much more worse off for it. We are not the same country we were back then. There were still individuals who had character and integrity and regardless of the outcome, justice was more important than politics. Now, nothing is more important than politics. Integrity, character, the rule of law, and the founding principle that no one is above the law depends entirely upon your political persuasion. Worst of all, there is the leftist mob to contend with and they run wild and will harass to the extreme anyone who will not submit to their narrative. It takes extraordinary courage to buck this crowd and most do not wish to and won’t because their personal comfort is more important. Should Biden and every single individual in his administration who played a part in any of his crimes be given a fair trial and then appropriate punishment, all of them even the boy king and Ma Clinton? Absolutely. Will they, most likely not. Most Republicans just do not have the stomach for the fight that would ensue. However, how can we call ourselves a Constitutional Republic when we willingly ignore the rule of law? Whether you want to go through the process that it would take to bring these criminals to Justice, it is the right thing to do. Ignoring it will only assure that we will get more of the same. We are in a total mess in this country because of weak leaders without any integrity. Either we face this treachery head on or we will never return to a system of justice based upon equality under the law. We are in a very dark place when the people recognize that there are two systems of justice playing out in this country. Revolutions have been started on less grievances than what we are witnessing today. The beginning of restoration of this country will come when we see justice for all regardless of your station in life. We must hold the people who hold the highest positions in government accountable, especially the “big guy”. Trump may not be your cup of tea, but show me someone, anyone who will fight this fight? Of course, he’s the guy for the job and that is why the left in all its forms hate him, especially the elites in their midst. He knows for the country to move on, corruption at the highest levels must be held accountable. We must restore law and order from the lowly criminals who walk our city streets to the man who sits behind the Resolute Desk. Nothing else will restore this nation until we deal with the criminal element especially in our government.

Newt Gingrich is a shining star in our nation’s history - as compared to Biden and ‘the Left’ in America who are totally corrupt, autocratic, loud, aggressive and dangerous. We know a lot about what this unhinged bunch has done, but imagine if we knew ‘everything’ they’ve done to protect themselves and destroy their political opposition by any means necessary and at all cost. And America’s most dangerous occurrence in my lifetime is chilling; it’s the Biden presidency and his affect on our international relations - and vulnerabilities.

Gingrich does not seem to be up to date about Watergate. Watergate looks more damning now against the deep state and the Democrat prosecutors. Many documents that were kept under wraps for decades have only recently been released. And thus a number of books have recently been written. The Watergate break in was a CIA operation for gathering blackmail. They were also doing the same thing to the Republicans. They recruited John Dean to be a part of it because he worked in the White House and that would make the break in look like it was a White House operation when in fact it was a CIA operation. John Dean got used by the CIA and then got used by the Democrats. Nixon resigned because of a statement he made on the tapes which looked bad and he didn't recall the statement nor the context of it. But now it turns out that statement was edited and taken out of context by the Democrat prosecutors and it fooled Nixon. Nixon wasn't even talking about Watergate. He was talking about protecting the public reputations of rich Democrat contributors who had abandoned McGovern and contributed to the Nixon campaign instead. He had promised them anonymity and Nixon wanted the FBI to to not reveal those contributions. They weren't illegal and had nothing to do with Watergate. He was not talking about getting the FBI to cover up Watergate. Watergate was more of a prelude to the Russia Hoax scandal. And once again the culprits are getting away with it. Nixon had been the CIAs best friend and yet when the CIA got in trouble they twisted the blame on Nixon.

Why Won’t Republicans Move On From Trump? 12 replies

What some mainstream conservatives and pundits aren’t considering, given our bleak 2024 electoral landscape (unresolved DNC-sponsored mass mail-in voting; an open border with millions of people streaming across it; an administrative state and media complex actively colluding and working against the people) is that Trump’s era was, and probably is, the last time flyover country will ever see executive representation in Washington again. Looking ahead to 2024, we should ask, Have the voters in that overlooked region—so breezily dismissed time and time again—changed in any marked way? Are they ready to move on? If anything, they’ve become even more alienated and disgusted by the Washington establishment than they were in 2016.

On Thursday, the high court issued an opinion that narrowed the EPA's broad definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS). The court said the federal government must define WOTUS as a water source with a "continuous surface connection" to major bodies of water. The decision upended an attempt by the Biden administration to regulate wetlands, lakes, ponds, streams and other "relatively permanent" waterways, which had relied on a broad reading of the EPA's authority

I have become increasingly skeptical of much of what is going on in our government.  AT writers and readers inspire me to question everything.(snip) In the same timeframe during which the Durham report was released, we also saw a report released on the FBI FISA abuses.  We are supposed to be happy that only 278,000 unauthorized (illegal) warrantless searches occurred in 2020 and accept that the FBI has resolved this situation.Interesting...a system created to keep tabs on foreign threats is being used to illegally spy on American citizens at an alarming rate.

These medicines treat common illnesses and infections that people who own large animals and livestock are very familiar with and qualified to treat. They have been trusted to do so for as long as these medicines have been available. The first chicken antibiotics were introduced in 1948. Since then, there has been no call nor reason to regulate these items. Many farmers and ranchers tend to many of their animals’ veterinary needs,

Left-wing extremism is linked to toxic, psychopathic tendencies and narcissism, according to a new study published to the peer-reviewed journal Current Psychology. “Based on existing research, we expected individuals with higher levels of left-wing authoritarianism to also report higher levels of narcissism,” the authors wrote. (snip) “In particular, certain forms of activism might provide them with opportunities for positive self-presentation and displays of moral superiority, to gain social status, to dominate others, and to engage in social conflicts and aggression to satisfy their need for thrill seeking.” The study on left-wing authoritarianism also showed that many times they do not practice what they so loudly preach.

Children of certain ages who received Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine face an elevated risk of heart inflammation, according to a new federally funded study. Vaccinated children aged 12 to 17 face a heightened risk of myocarditis, a form of heart inflammation, and a related condition called pericarditis, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) researchers found. The number of myocarditis and pericarditis events in that age group met the threshold for a safety signal, the researchers reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association on May 22.
