Even Amid Trump’s Legal Troubles, His
Lead Widens: I&I/TIPP

Former President Donald Trump has been much in the media in recent weeks, but not all or even most of the coverage has been favorable. Even so, he has stretched his lead against a field of potential Republican challengers significantly over the past month. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden’s lead against the Democratic field remains essentially the same, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. In the online poll, taken from May 3-5, we asked 703 Democrats and those leaning Democrat, and 469 Republicans and those leaning Republican who their preferred candidate would be. The margin of error for the Democratic sample was +/- 4.0

President Trump is correct when he says these people are really after us--he is just in the way. And, they believe it. That is why his support grows with each additional attack the left directs on him. It is now obvious that the government is afraid of him and will do anything to keep him out of the White House because they are swamp creatures and he has committed himself to draining the swamp. Trump 2024!

Most Americans still fundamentally believe in fairness. What they've been doing to him for years with endless legal assaults that never go anywhere is clearly unfair and a witch hunt. Fair minded people like underdogs in these situations.

The headline is based on a completely wrong premise. Trump's 'legal troubles' are al politically motivated, malicious fraudulent smearing efforts. The voters are not inanimate ballots. They correctly see what is going on. These actions which the perpetrators expected to hurt Trump are as expected helping him. No surprise here.

The pollsters have to know that most of us do not get our information from the legacy media any longer - for many of us, not for a long time. We hear about Durham's report - that took four years !!! - telling us what we knew years ago - that Trump was innocent and all those who tried to say otherwise - guilty. Unfortunately, we live in a country where there is no more justice. Lots of mercy, but very little justice. Of course, for the J6'ers neither mercy nor justice.

The disdain the left holds for anyone conservative is evident in all this lawfare. They actually believe we are too stupid to figure out this is nothing but an attempt to destroy President Trump using our justice department. The average American asks themselves, why? It doesn’t take them long to figure out this is just a dirty political strategy. All they have cheering them on is the radical left wing of their party which pretty much now accounts for the majority of democrats. However, any thinking person understands exactly what is going on especially since the Durham Report was released.

If Republicans are the stupid party – and you will get no argument from us here about that – perhaps the correct label for today’s Democratic party is “brainless.” Witness what it did in just the past few days: President Joe Biden showed up at the pro-abortion EMILY’s List gala, where he said “I also want to thank my buddy Kamala who I work for up in the White House for leading on this issue.” This is not the first time Biden has mistaken Harris as president. The fact that she could be president is worse, since there are few in public office as dimwitted as she.

The long-delayed, much-awaited Durham report has finally dropped. And what it shows is nothing short of shocking: A conspiracy at the highest levels of our government to fix an election in favor of one candidate over another. This is not something that deserves merely a handslap or the usual Inside-The-Beltway tut-tutting. It’s a criminal act for which people should go to prison. Just for the record, this is far worse than Watergate. And that ended Richard Nixon’s presidency, even though he neither planned nor approved of the break-ins against the Democratic Party offices in the famed Watergate Hotel. What will the perpetrators of this crime get?

At the heart of all fearmongering over the debt ceiling “crisis” is the claim that if the federal government can’t borrow more money it won’t be able to pay interest on its existing debt, leading to a default. But that’s poppycock. The government will collect more than a trillion dollars over the next three months. (It collected $638 billion in taxes in April alone.) That will be more than enough to pay interest on the debt. And it will be enough to pay all Social Security benefits, Medicare and Medicaid bills, welfare checks, food stamps. There will even be enough

There’s always a lot riding on a showdown between a president and Congress over raising the federal debt ceiling to avoid a government shutdown. But this year, as the 2024 election year looms, the stakes are particularly high. That could be bad news for President Joe Biden, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, since his positions on debt, taxes and spending lack majority support even from Democratic voters. For our May online I&I/TIPP Poll, taken May 3-5 with a margin of error of +/-2.6 percentage points, we asked 1,480 adults across the country the following question:

After two years spent either ignoring the crisis at the southern border or refusing to blame President Joe Biden, the New York Times tepidly confessed this week that his border policies have, indeed, contributed to the surge in illegal immigration. Why now? In an email to subscribers, the Times senior writer David Leonhardt writes: When the U.S. makes it difficult for people to enter the country illegally, fewer people make the journey north to try. When the U.S. sends signals that people will be able to cross the border even without permission, and potentially remain here for years, more people attempt to do so. (Before you know it,

A panel in California, where rotten public policy ideas metastasize like a fungus growing in dark, slimy conditions, has approved paying reparations to descendants of slaves. It is impossible to overstate just how insane this is. The reparations task force, appointed by Boy Gov. That’s 2.5 times the size of California’s annual budget. Recipients could rake in as much as $1.2 million each. Or more. Much more. In the span of a few weeks, the Biden administration has proposed regulations that would effectively ban gas stoves, force a massive shift to electric cars, sharply raise the cost of dishwashers, increase loan costs for frugal borrowers, regulate puddles as “navigable waters,” and limit hunting and fishing across the country. It will soon release a proposed rule targeting power plants with hugely expensive carbon capture mandates. This is just the tip of the spear. As the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Clyde Wayne Crews put it recently, “President Biden is leading an unprecedented expansion of the administrative state.

Today, you’re not allowed to say a bad word about electric cars. They’re planet savers, after all. Environmentalists tell us so. But there will come a day — in the not-too-distant future — when the climate change fanatics will decide that EVs are planet killers, too. We’ve seen this bait-and-switch tactic before. Back in 2007, energy producers pumped money into environmental groups to promote natural gas. The Sierra Club used the funds to mount a “Beyond Coal” campaign touting the benefits of gas. Joe Romm, a climate advocate at the Center for American Progress, declared

Going woke means more than, as the saying says, going broke. It also means the ultimate loss of life. The grip of wokeness on our society will eventually kill Americans. Let’s begin with health care. Medical school students, whose learning should be focused on the healing arts, are being taught social justice ideology. Apparently, white supremacy, oppression, and structural racism must be addressed by America’s doctors-to-be, as well as the sin of being white. Does ADHD in fact exist? This week the BBC’s Panorama programme quite rightly exposed some very worrying private clinics. (Snip) One of the problems with the diagnosis of ‘ADHD’ is that it covers such an extraordinarily broad range of behaviours, including children who may actually suffer from birth trauma or brain damage, and children who are merely wilful and obstinate, or are driven to distraction by dull schools and bad teachers. Worse, it closes the subject. If all these millions truly are suffering from a treatable physical disorder, then we need not worry about our debased family life, dominated by
