The demonic left's "foot in the door"

Almost all conservatives recognize that the Left always, always have "a foot in the door." (snip) As is their raison d'etre, Leftists, like sharks, must move forward or die; they cannot leave you alone. They are never without some demonic plan to upend some effective long-standing American tradition that made the country great. Burn it down. Burn you down. It pains Leftists to see people happy, productive, and content. When they see Americans who are comfortable, their diabolical constitution writhes in agony until they inflict some measure of physical, economic, and emotional discomfort upon you. It is their mission.

America was founded as a vehicle by which the citizens could live their lives and pursue their dreams with minimal government interference. Since Mr Lincoln and the Civil War, that ideal has been stomped into the ground. The federal government is now a parasite, sucking more and more resources and more and more freedom from the citizens, while being completely unaccountable. The founders said our constitution was suitable only for a moral people. Too bad none are in charge.

What makes the situation even more pathetic is that the modern American left is a shark with no teeth that is bluffing its way through our society. They have no power other than what we allow them, their numbers are not all that great and their ways are despicable. All we need to do is get a bigger boat, sharpen the harpoons and USE them. It's coming.

I always wonder if leftists will be willing to die for the hedonistic activities they claim as "rights?" Sadly it's the only "litmus test" a people have at their disposal when the cultural-moral fabric of a nation is ripped to shreds and burned in front of citizens' eyes. Civil wars can be brutal... are you really ready for one, progs?

I am not convinced there are as many conservatives as we think there are. Everyone, including the donks, saw the much touted "Big Red Wave" anemically fizzle in Nov 2022.

Only one way to deal with them, and "voting them out of office" isn't it.

I'm with poster #4. The left never gives less than about 35 or 40% for any poll taken on an issue. Even Brandon's popularity rates that number. If there is an equal number of political agnostics or brain-dead know nothings, that makes us about 35% of the pie.

The GOP will win by making voting harder

Now that the midterms are over, this is not the time to relax. Here is an early warning for the GOP: Today is the day you must begin securing 2024’s election. Not a year from now. Not six months from now. Not next week. Today. Make voting much, much harder for everyone. Here at American Thinker, several contributors listed in detail what must be done in order to keep 2022 from being stolen. It almost was. Not nearly enough was done by Americans to secure the midterms. We barely took the House and came this close > < to losing it. Why? Because we didn’t take Democrat cheating seriously enough…
Competence is dead and diversity killed it 29 replies

Has (sic) affirmative action hiring practices caused overall competence to plummet? The record appears to show exactly that. For no good reasons whatsoever, competence was allowed to die on the vine in order to give the less competent a leg up. Not equality but superiority rules the hiring, firing, and education of Americans. Worse, many of those who were affirmatively hired do not do as good a job as those whose excellence was obvious. You can see it in customer service, which for many businesses is abysmally incompetent. There is a resentful casualness in those who are hired to serve others that would not have been acceptable even two decades ago.
America’s spiritual crisis revealed

Some are saying that the death of Tyre Nichols was due to “bad policing” or perhaps affirmative action hiring. Neither is truly the main reason. The Tyre Nichols tragedy was due to a spiritual void where the perpetrators have no conscience. You don’t behave so viciously toward anyone unless you have it in your soul, your being, to be that way. And because the human race is fallen, deeply prone to bad behavior, born to be bad, so to speak, human beings default to that evil fallen state.

It is my opinion that this midterm election will not be a “red wave” or a “red tsunami.” I predict a Red Flood of almost Noahic proportions. First will come the overwhelming rejection of the Biden agenda on November 8. Then will come the rejoicing by most of Red America. But after that, the illegalities will begin, starting with challenging the vote counts and the calls for recounts. Then it will escalate to violence unless there is a plan to nip it in the bud before it starts.

We should hope so. Democracy is mob rule. Democracy is rule by majority. We do not have a direct democracy. We never had one. America was never set up for that. We have a representative republic, where the representatives we voters choose make the decisions as to what legislation to approve or disapprove, according to what we want. That necessitates that our representatives actually ask us now and then what we want instead of voting how they want without our input. Elementary civics lesson over. Hillary Clinton derided Republicans in a keynote address during the New York Democrat party convention in February:…

For quite a while now, ever since Obama talked about the Constitution being a "charter of negative liberties," the left have been behaving as if our Constitution did not exist. Obama's comments and those of other radicals regarding how the Constitution is no longer applicable to today's America reveal a breathtaking disdain for this most brilliant document. Radicals are determined to ignore the Constitution without doing so publicly, thereby destroying it without actually saying that's what they want to do. And so the left have simply decided to ignore the constitutional protections that Americans enjoy against governmental overreach.

Is it “cruel” to send illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, as Press Secretary Karine Jeanne-Pierre says? Was it also cruel when the Biden administration sent illegals from the border to Red states? What is the difference in the level of cruelty between liberals sending their illegals to red states and conservatives sending theirs to blue states and cities, or is it cruel only when conservatives do it? Liberals are on board for virtue-signaling diversity (and the crime) that comes of illegal immigration so long as it is NIMBY. Does cruelty accrue only when Democrats are hurt?

There has been a creeping meme among some Republican voters indicating that they will refuse to vote because they are fed up with congressional Republicans. They are telling everyone who will listen how horrible congressional Republicans are and are asking, "Why vote when our representatives do nothing and get nothing done?" People who advocate not voting are advocating surrender to the leftist mob and surrender to Democrats who have ruined a perfectly good country. They are recommending surrender to the leftists who are persecuting Republican conservatives. There is no other way to read this: If you won't vote, you turn the reins of what power you have over to Democrats.

I have noticed that our culture is filled with newly uneducated people, if education is viewed as the accumulated learning of history, math, literature, thought, and functional independent living. Only yesterday, people who went to college learned how to support themselves, how to treat and counsel others, how to build things, write things, how to interpret what they read, how to talk to other people for comity's sake, and how to build secure families. But the Eutopians* are pounding their spears on our borders.

It seems like just yesterday that politicians would try to sway voters to come to their point of view and cast a vote for them. Things have changed. In the past week, Charlie Crist told conservative voters he wants nothing to do with them because they're evil; Kathy Hochul told Republicans to leave her state; and, in the culmination of this abuse, Joe Biden effectively affixed the label "fascist" to Trump's 74,216,154 voters (all of whom are actual human beings). Is it any coincidence that, in the same week, activists twice swatted Marjorie Taylor Greene?

According to Comer, some witnesses have gone missing while others are in jail, and the FBI is refusing to assist in locating them.

Joe Biden is a born political panderer. It’s how he won the Democratic Party nomination, and it played a large role in his victory over Donald Trump. Telling people what they want to hear is a political skill that most politicians possess. But there may never have been a politician as adept and skilled as Joe Biden in pandering to voters based on their race, their gender, their sexual identity, or any other aspect of their personhood that can be sliced, diced, and pureed to create a message tailor-made for a particular Democratic constituency.
