It must have seemed to Democrats like a good idea at the time to encourage the idea that their most solid political base, African Americans, deserve payment from taxpayers for the harm that slavery did to their ancestors. Particularly when Donald Trump began making inroads in 2016, taking Hillary Clinton’s support among black males down to 82%, well below the 90s that Barack Obama enjoyed. Because bribing voting blocs with taxpayers’ money is such a familiar tool for politicians, this tactic didn’t raise alarm at first. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has weighed in on behalf of Daniel Penny, the former Marine presently facing a second-degree manslaughter charge after physically restraining Jordan Neely on a New York City subway train on May 1. Neely, a homeless man with a lengthy list of criminal charges, was behaving threateningly toward other passengers when Penny put him in a submission hold, followed by placing Neely in a recovery position. Neely passed away shortly thereafter.

Following the airing of CNN’s town hall with former President Trump Wednesday evening, many bloviating pontificators in the liberal media registered their outrage at the network for daring to give the Republican candidate a platform. A surprising voice to register their disproval came from inside CNN’s house in the form of senior media reporter Oliver Darcy via the so-called “Reliable Sources” Newsletter. According to reporting from Puck News on Friday, CNN boss Chris Licht responded to Darcy’s insubordination by putting “the fear of God into him.”

They don’t understand why CNN would give Trump a forum, they are appalled that the audience was in Trump’s corner, and they are frustrated that Trump dominated the event, with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins unable to keep Trump under control, let alone embarrass him.
Inevitably, CNN’s host ignored the pressing issues of the day and went straight to what the Left really cares about, the 2020 election and Trump’s refusal to accept that Biden’s victory was legitimate (just as Hillary Clinton refused to accept that Trump’s 2016 victory was legitimate). The Post story points out that we’re setting new records this week, averaging twice as many border crossings per day as we were in 2019 during what was then considered President Trump’s border crisis.

Daniel Penny is expected to turn himself in as soon as Friday to face criminal charges in connection with the chokehold death of Jordan Neely aboard an F train, according to the Manhattan district attorney's office.

Since then FOX News has lost two-thirds of their viewers in the coveted 8 PM timeslot.Their numbers have absolutely FLATLINED since firing their top-rated host.
On Thursday FOX News at Night, the show that replaced Tucker Carlson, had 1.394 viewers.
Louisiana – Kenner police this week revealed a racial motive in the killing of a 66-year-old handyman.
Two black male suspects, Tahj Matthews, 23 and Maurice Holmes, 25, admitted to their role in killing Lawrence Herr while he was repairing a mailbox last month.
One of the suspects told police he “just wanted to kill a white guy.”
Matthews and Holmes were both charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal drive-by shooting on April 10.
According to reports, the suspects gunned down Lawrence Herr while he was repairing a mailbox on Kenner’s Georgetown Place.
Both suspects are being held in the Jefferson Parish Correction Center, according to WVUE.
