Chris is a great conservative voice - even if he is a little bit on the spectrum as evidenced by his tendency to break into old classic rock songs when a familiar phrase comes up. I totally agree with him that Democrats should labeled as Commie Red while Conservatives are true Blue.

After listening to Chris Plante regularly on radio, I’m more than pleased he will have a show on NewsMax now. He speaks for me and many others who are concerned and more than ‘fed up’ with the direction America is headed - all because the Democrat Party has been hijacked by autocratic, hate-filled, wackadoodle, ‘do-as-we-say-or-else’ thugs who will stop at nothing to make sure they stay in control ‘over’ all the rest of us. Chris impresses me as one who will continue to be a strong voice for us - against the Leftist Democrats who only know how to hate and destroy. They’re a nasty, sickening bunch. Go get ‘em, Chris!

@ # 1, Chris Ruddy who owns Newsmax has always been a mystery because he's at best a moderate/centrist, but he's caught the conservative media niche.

I quit watching Fox after they helped steal the election for Biden. Everything they have done since then verified the wisdom of that choice. I checked out America's Voice and dont care for it. Its all done on zoom and is Bannon sitting in a radio studio. Rush had a show like that and it was terrible. So that leaves Newsmax. They arent bad. Their production quality is better than it was, but they still spend too much time on niche stories and ignore the ones of greater importance, such as mass shooters. There have been several in the last couple weeks and they covered one. I'll give them a little time. Also they have that idiot Ellis Hennigan, who I cant stand. He gets that insipid smile and bounces up and down when he thinks he has a gotcha answer. Very annoying.

Newsmax is okay. Their morning and mid-morning hosts are weak. Shawn - bit of an airhead and Emma with that insipid little smile. Evening is a bit better although Pellegrino is a lightweight. Like Rob Schmitt, Carl Higbie and of course you're liberty loving Latino Chris Salcedo. Greta is good but too much focus on Ukraine. Bob Sellers - on in the afternoon - he's the one that walked off the set when Mike Lindell brought up the fraud of the 2020 election. Some of their overseas correspondents are good, too. But Newsmax has as commentators dinosaurs like Mark Halperin, Bwarney Frank and Ellis Henican - ugh. Both Fox and Newsmax need to get rid of the overly lip glossed, long hair bimbos they have as hosts.

I adore Chris Plante and have listened to him since he first sat down behind the microphone at WMAL. He’s funny, he’s interesting and the best thing about him is that he doesn’t pull his punches. He plunged head on into topics that even Rush wouldn’t touch. Happy for him and us!

White House might swallow a 'short-term'

The White House is considering a short-term extension to lift the debt ceiling so negotations between the Biden administration and Congressional Republicans won't throw the country off a fiscal cliff. CNBC reported Friday on the administration's thinking, citing four sources familiar with the matter. They characterized the move as being a 'last resort' or a 'fallback' option as Biden continues to demand that Republicans in Congress send a clean debt ceiling bill to his desk before June 1, when Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said the U.S. would default on its loans.

President Joe Biden teased journalists at the White House Friday telling them that he would answer their questions later that afternoon at a 'major press conference.' The only problem was there was no press conference on the schedule - and nobody in the White House press corps was aware of one was being planned. In reality, Biden was referring to a sit-down interview scheduled later in the day with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, which will air in full at 10 p.m. Friday night.

She also claims he was buying her lingerie. Read the Vanity Fair piece on E. Jane Carroll and ask yourself if this woman is stable.

The conviction of Proud Boys leaders for "seditious conspiracy" on Jaunary 6 energized MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace. She was ready to pounce—on Donald Trump. She was hoping to parlay that into a prosecution of Trump. It had everything but the "lock him up" chants. Approvingly quoting Liz Cheney, Wallace claimed that the conviction of the Proud Boys: "underscores questions about holding accountable the man, who the January 6th committee vice chair Liz Cheney so memorably puts it, quote, summoned the mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack."
