Joe Tacopina, an attorney for former President Trump in E. Jean Carroll’s civil rape trial against Trump, confronted the longtime Elle Magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll on Monday, pointing out that her rape story has remarkable similarities to a 2012 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Carroll has accused Trump of groping and raping her in a Bergdorf-Goodman dressing room in the mid-1990s, pursuing this suit in November following the Adult Survivors Act going into effect, which allowed her to avoid the statute of limitations for this case.

Having read a poster comment elsewhere about E. Jean Carroll authoring several books prompted a glance at Wikipedia to glean a little more insight into the background of this woman.
She was born Elizabeth Jean Carroll and described as an American journalist, author and advice columnist (“Ask E. Jean”) for Elle magazine from 1993-2019. She was fired from Elle in 2020 and blamed that dismissal on President Trump “for having ridiculed her reputation, laughing at her books and dragging her through the mud” but the magazine upheld the termination was a business decision “unrelated to Trump.”
She has written five books, four of which appear to lean toward relationships between men and women. One book, “A Dog in Heat Is a Hot Dog, and Other Rules to Live by” is reviewed as: “Rambunctious advice from the successful columnist helps women approach their relationships with humor and intelligence, explaining the secrets of optimizing their potential and managing the opposite sex.”
Another book, “What Do We Need Men For?: A Modest Proposal” written in 2019 accused Les Moonves (CBS Corporation executive) and Donald Trump as having sexually assaulted her in the mid-1990s. She was one of 13 women accusing Les Moonves of sexual assault in 2019; Les Moonves and President Trump deny her allegations.
In 2020 and 2021, she wrote several articles published in “The Atlantic” that profiled 25 women that accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct.
She was a contributing editor for several publications and was Playboy’s first female contributing editor. With her sister, she co-founded greatboyfriends.com through which women would recommend their ex-boyfriends to each other. Ten years later she co-founded a “personal concierge” for dating and “also advised Tawkify’s matchmaking team.”
She lived in Montana with her first husband. Her second marriage was to John Johnson, who “joined ABC News in 1968, ultimately becoming the first African American documentary producer, director and writer at a broadcast network.” They divorced in 1990.

She also says that she has not had sex since that day, nor dated, not even a dinner.
Yet her entire "literary/journalistic Career" is giving dating and relationship advice.

I was wondering how she got away with this scam. Good for Trump's lawyer. I hope he nails her so hard she walks funny for a year.

There is no way a woman could be groped and raped in a changing booth at any store unless she cooperated.

When they can't even remember when it "happened", it's because it DIDN'T.

This woman is a disgusting, vile and odious creep who makes what I believe is a totally false accusation against Trump like all of the other made up accusations of the last eight years. Rape is a brutal, unspeakable act and this pig (mega apologies to pigs) uses it as a political statement thereby cheapening the horror that actual victims experience. This woman cannot recall the date or even in which year the incident occurred. Just like accusations that other creep Ballsy Ford, made against Brett Kavanaugh. Right out of the democrat playbook.
I will bet most rape victims never forget the year, day and time of their horrific assault. Ask Tara Reid who can tell you very precisely when Joe Biden assaulted her.
