A 70-year-old man won a World Poker Tour ladies’ event in Florida on Saturday night. According to one individual, this gentleman signed up for the female-only contest simply because he “could pretend to identify as a woman because they allow anything nowadays.”
Saturday night was day one of the WPT $3,500 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. David Hughes wound up winning the entire event, beating out 82 women, according to PokerNews.com

I have to give this more thought, but my immediate reaction is that this may be a great strategy!
Let's see the leftists defend their lunacy.

Good for Dave! The bearded lady! He had every single right to apply for entry into the Women's poker championship.
If those silly, silly women cannot stand up to the woke, then Dave you have my blessing. Here is my advice:
You got to know when to hold em. Know when to fold em. Know when to walk away. Know when to run. Like a girl.

There is NO physical reason that Men and Women are not totally equal in a card game.
The reason to host them is for media coverage, to check the "Gender support" box, and to broaden the client base.
I get the point the guy was making, I see the reasons for doing so...but personally? I would no more do this sort of thing than I would sign up for the Special Olympics.

Puts a lie to the formerly commonly held belief among men and women that “man smart, woman smarter” (as sadly departed Harry Belafonte once sang). Then again, that day, the winner decided to identify as woman, so it was woman against woman. Such a nifty thing, to be whatever you identify as. Very progressive of us.

I think this is great for Dave the poker player, and especially the GOP councilman in Indiana. I love it when good men come to the rescue of ladies in distress, even though Dave was just doing it for a lark. The Indiana councilman deserves great respect and his tactic should be copied by hundreds/thousands of GOP politicians across the country. Throw the Left's make-believe "identity" BS back into their faces. Follow Alinsky; make your enemy live up to their own rules.

Wow. The World Poker Tour can't legally define what a woman is! So anyone can legally say anything, and the WPT let's them. Interesting. With friends like this, the women's tour doesn't need any enemies. Oh and by the way, I am sincerely surprised this guy wasn't shot in the parking lot, on the way to his car.....

Didn't have to wear lipstick & pearls or don cartoonishly oversized breast prosthetics to prove his superior card skills over the weaker sex. Should have worn a cowboy hat. A Compassionate Transsexual Conservative Maverick-ette.

You would think that but.....POOL. Women, as good as they may be, cannot beat the men. I dont know why. I myself once had to play one of the women pro players. I sent her home crying.
I remember once that Karen Korr beat Johnny Archer. People were shocked!

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Try to start a mens'-only poker series and you'll get prosecuted by the feds. Start a womens' -only poker series and you get applauded.
I've reached my senior years and the kids are adults. I would love to have spent some time at the poker tables exercising my brain. But I can't stand these sanctimonious, deluded younger people who think only in memes. They're annoying, uninformed, and irrational beyond belief but always have complete certitude over the rectitude of their beliefs.

Poker, Chess. Men impersonating women beat them all. But how can that be? We know there is a physical difference that gives men an advantage in physical sports but chess and poker are hardly physical. Are the trans women invading and dominating women's intellectual games going to demonstrate that women are not as smart as men?
I did not see that coming.

I think more males should flock to women's sports and take home the participation trophies.

Perfect. Force the absurdity, the insanity of their "men pretending to be women" approach to be so obvious that it can't be over looked.
