The Nuclear Family is Key to Democracy

To say that things have become upside down in American society in the last 20 to 30 years or so is the understatement of the year. However, to be perfectly fair, every succeeding younger generation has been met with calls of derision and criticism by the older generation. The cries of, “What they show on TV! Listen to those song lyrics! I can’t believe what kids are getting away with!” are a constant with every new generation. Nothing new there. It is true that every new age seems to bring with it a relaxation of moral standards, a redrawing of previously held moral lines in the sand, a new interpretation

I've been around for quite a few years and am a witness to the destruction the left has wrought. Between 1968 and 1972 the democrat party was taken over by people who hate the U.S. and the freedoms she stood for. To destroy this country and now Western Civilization they had to destroy the two-parent family. They have done a good job. The first step was convincing women they had a right to kill their own children and it's been downhill from there.

It isn’t just the lack of two parent nuclear families with a loving, trusting relationship & the discipline & leadership of a father. It’s the loss of being a part of God’s family & having a loving, trusting relationship with our Heavenly Father. It’s the loss of knowledge, understanding & obedience of the absolute, never changing truth of His Holy Word. “There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.” - Proverbs 14:12

#5, that is why I place a lot of emphasis on this footnote from my Bible. Here it is - "Unborn generations are depending on our faithfulness today. As we teach our children about the Lord, so they will teach their children and their children's children. If we fail to tell our children about the Lord, we may well be breaking the chain of God's influence in generations to come. We must view our children and all the young people we meet as God's future leaders. If we are faithful in opportunities today, we may well be affecting the future." Along with that thinking, if wisdom only comes from God and a person chooses not to have a relationship with God, discerning what is right and wrong will be a challenge. Either a person is getting closer to God or farther away and the latter has consequences but to tell someone that doesn't want to hear it, it seems all you can do is hope and pray that they get a clue soon.

I heard a guy interviewed on the radio last week. He put the cause of all our societal problems very simply. Children grow up today without any relationship with an earthly father and no relationship with their heavenly FATHER. He's a veteran who came home from war with some issues. He went up into the mountains to heal and found GOD and healing. He now has a ministry that's working to get earthly fathers for these children and to build a relationship between them and their heavenly FATHER. Keep lookin' up.

Can we please stop braying on and on about democracy? Democracy, depending as it does on the intelligence of the voters and the integrity of the voting infrastructure, is an obvious failure. That does not mean that we need to abandon representative participation by the people in the government. We just need a better system for picking those people. I propose that we roll the dice and pick people at random. I'm sure we'll have a better chance of picking good people. The system we use now is over-represented by the people who crave power, fame, money and influence. The very people we DON'T want in power self-select for those roles. Also, picking at random eliminates elections (and all the money involved therein) and political parties. Where's the downside to this?

My thoughts on Karine Jean Pierre's job performance have been rather clear, and clear-eyed, since the very beginning. Having spoken to multiple people who used to occupy her exact role, as well as a number of public-facing Democrats, let's just say that my assessment is not an outlier. This week, on the subject of the border crisis, the White House Press Secretary did an especially poor and mendacious job on consecutive days. I say this not because she garbled words or offered little of value, which is par for the course, but because she told a massive lie, then got snippy and churlish in response to legitimate questioning

Two trend lines extend into the future. One tracks government's increased oppression, surveillance, and social control. The other tracks people's rising spiritual faith, desire for personal freedom, and determination that government should leave them alone. This is our reality. It also exposes the chink in totalitarianism's armor. The greater the government's coercion, the more convinced a growing share of the population becomes that illegitimate government must go. The same tug of war has played out time and again. With the luxury of hindsight, there is a clear trigger point when governing authorities cross a line into such unacceptable tyranny that their eventual fall becomes certain.

The easiest way to cut through the pretending nonsense is to ask the obvious question, ‘Why now?‘ The Florida Republican Legislature is changing the Sunshine Laws in Florida to block people from reviewing the travel records of the Florida Governor. [HB1495 Link] The claimed justification is security, to protect the governor and high-ranking state officials. However, the obvious timing of Ron DeSantis pending run for the White House, in combination with his administration refusing to give details on who/how the funding for his private charter flights have been taking place during the “book tour,” makes the new law much more suspicious as constructed.
