The great sorting that’s taking place
in America

During busy news cycles, it’s hard to write posts. Each story screams for attention, creating analysis paralysis. What struck me today, though, was that many of the stories we’re seeing are part of something much larger, which is what I call the “Great Sorting.” All the old patterns are broken, and people are rethinking their allegiances. Before the 21st century, the world’s patterns were predictable. You could divide history into the era before the Soviet Union collapsed and after the collapse. (Snip) And then, literally overnight, the Soviet Union collapsed. Americans blithely assumed that the free world had won, and the hard work was over.

Comments:

True. The categories of right and left, conservative and liberal, don't describe what's happening today.

Its always been the makers VS the takers. The takers need the makers. Without them there is nothing to steal. The makers, on the other hand, not only dont need the takers, they are better off without them. Government is 100% takers.

History's last "Great Sorting" occurred under Hitler as it pertained to the Jews, mentally ill, and every other undesirable group based on Eugenics and Aryan ideology. Today is not much different, and again the Socialists are embracing the ideals and methods promoted by the Nazis. Unfortunately today's culture relating to morality has basically been castrated and the hope that a significant number of people will Stand firm and oppose this new sorting is growing dimmer. As with every type of sorting, groups are created and manipulated by the "sorter" and man's nature is to destroy those he disagrees with.

Eyes are being opened. The ultimate choice is, and always has been, the choice between good and evil - whether in politics, religion. Or whatever. The thin veneer that had been used to disguise evil is becoming so transparent that people of conscience have to admit they were wrong, or join with those who call evil good & good evil. There are many names that have been used by those who choose to do evil. It isn’t only leftists who are awakening to the disguises. The “Conservative” veneer is thinning as well, and being ripped away in some instances. We have come to a “choose you this day whom you will serve” moment. A “time for choosing”. As Thomas Paine said during that first American Revolution, “These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.” May God be with the many or the few who choose to do good, and bless our American Patriots with victory.

Back sometime in the Dark Ages, I was taking an American History class that commented on the chaos caused by the shifting and realignment of the US political parties in the early-to-middle-ish 1800s (about 1820s). At the time, I thought how horrible it would have been to be alive then and hoped I wouldn't see such a thing in my lifetime. But, I've been watching and I saw it start happening. Al Gore's loss in the Florida Panhandle was a great indicator. The Dems and the media (all we had was mainstream back then) just could not accept that this locale, which had consistently voted Democrat since before the Civil War, had voted Republican. The Southern Democrats finally realized that the Democrat party no longer represented them. (Full transparency, a relative of mine was the judge who decided "no more chad counting.") Want to talk about being "woke"? Based on the history books, we're going to have another generation or two of this before everyone gets realigned, so I don't expect to see it happen before I die.

Too many coming out of California and NY/NJ area and going elsewhere to wreak havoc on the state that they "sorted" to. Like plague carriers, too many of them insist on trying to remake their new location to be like the old one that they left. Certainly many are conservatives fleeing these leftist disasters, but they aren't the only ones. Colorado has been seriously harmed by all the leftists who moved there from California.

You might notice that the article does not mention our creator. And the truth remains no matter what one thinks in opposition. A nation without God simply has no future, and we are in that nation.

Jason Whitlock commented that “Performance could not shield Carlson from the consequence of America’s adoption of a feminized culture that levels the playing field by castrating men, reimagining traditional standards, and embracing a false reality.” In fewer words, we call it the “pussification” of America.

It's the classic battle of "Good versus Evil." The United States has been running from its "God-fearing Christian nation" beginnings to one that cannot even mention "God" in public places for fear of lawsuits. Although at this time it is OK to say, "Allah" and broadcast the daily call to prayer in certain cities. Supplanting the God of the Old and New Testaments with the blood-thirsty illiterate pedophile 'grand mal' "prophet" of Arabia is disgusting and degenerate. Where are the Christians in America? They're too busy getting the crap beat out of them in the public square, afraid to be Warriors for Christ and His Word.

The great sorting that’s taking place in America American Thinker, by Andrea Widburg.....I call it The Great Shaking! Hebrews12:27 This reminds me of a civil war that happened in Israel against Moses. Numbers 26:10 It was Dathan and Abiram, chosen by the congregation, who fought against Moses and Aaron with the followers of Korah who rebelled against the LORD. v10 And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them along with Korah, whose followers died when the fire consumed 250 men. They serve as a warning sign. This is happening today...people rebelling against God. good vs evil. God's ministers saying "Who's on the Lord's side?" And as for the earth opening up and swallowing the evildoers..... we're waiting Lord.

They’ve been working towards this for decades, the psychopaths that run us. In The Weaponization of Loneliness, How Tyrants Stoke Our Fear of Isolation to Silence, Divide, and Conquer Us, a powerhouse of a book, Stella Morabito points out that between ten and fifteen percent of us are near-psychopaths and they almost always end up in leadership. Shorn of empathy for anyone but themselves, they see the world as something to master, other people as NPCs, non- playing characters who will obey or die. They are pitiless and they know best. I have read no better description of the people destroying our world.

The whole world is commenting on and speculating about the abrupt departure of former Fox commentator Tucker Carlson from that network. Addressing the current moment is not my intent. (Snip) What I want to do now is note, for the record, almost elegiacally, how important Mr Carlson’s voice has been, in the evaluation of at least this dyed-in-the-wool old-school capital “L” Liberal. Mr Carlson and I spent most of our careers not in alignment on anything; for decades, our places were adversarial on the public chess board. He had assumed that I was the caricature of a shrieking, irrational left-wing feminist

I’m not sure why it’s happening -- perhaps it’s a backlash from the most obnoxious of the feminists and their conduct or the widespread denigration of and discrimination against white heterosexual men, but there’s no doubt in my mind that there’s a concerted attack by the culture warriors to erase women, denigrate them, and allow them only symbolic powers -- like choosing the moronic Kamala Harris as vice president instead of someone with a demonstrated and earned record of competence. How long has it been since we’ve seen women we looked up to, like Golda Meier and Maggie Thatcher, wielding political power?

Decriminalizing marijuana, we’ve been told to the point of stupor for years, would simply be a matter of recognizing the way society has changed and coming to a mature accommodation of a widespread current practice. (Snip) The New York Post reported last Monday that “the Sunday night murder inside a Harlem ‘smoke shop’ near the corner of 125th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard — the second shooting in the neighborhood in the last year — is a savage reminder of the state’s stupendously disastrous legalization of marijuana.” It seems that the state went about the legalization by “virtually eliminating the entire criminal code pertaining to marijuana overnight.”

What qualities should medical schools look for in future doctors? Probably academic excellence, experience in the medical sector, loyalty to medical ethics, and good interpersonal skills. These are all characteristics that future doctors should have, but they’re not what medical schools now emphasize. Medical schools are looking for social justice zealots to advance the diversity, equity, and inclusion dogma. There has been considerable concern since before the start of the war in Ukraine about the influence of National Socialists, or Nazis, there, and now it has gotten considerably worse. Rather than apologize for or at very least ignore the nation’s past ties to National Socialism, the city council in the nation’s capital of Kyiv is reportedly considering naming a street after a National Socialist collaborator who actually served in the SS during the Holocaust, Volodymyr Kubiyovych. Apparently the Ukrainian government is so certain that Western aid will continue that it feels no hesitation about flaunting its openness to National Socialism.

Greatly modified expectations got late-night fans through the first several years after Carson retired. The Jay Leno/David Letterman succession mess really threw a dark cloud over the beginning of the post-Carson era. It is well known that Carson wanted Letterman to replace him.
