For the past couple of years, we’ve been led to believe that the letter from 51 national security officials was some sort of spontaneous, grassroots effort by the intelligence community to warn us about the potential foreign influence behind Hunter Biden’s laptop. The laptop has since been confirmed to be legitimate, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence confirmed that there was no foreign disinformation campaign involved. But new information from House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and congressional investigators, with the help of two Obama-era CIA officials, has revealed a new twist in the story. The investigation has uncovered evidence linking the letter dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop

On the Matter of Ghosts

Of course ghosts exist.
Before dismissing the idea as absurd, consider that ghosts always come from the past. You can’t have a ghost from the future. But the past speaks to us all the time. We expect things to be where we left them, unless something caused them to move because causality is the foundation of reality. Causes precede their effects and effects follow causes, or so we think. Perhaps the most famous literary exposition of this idea was Ray Bradbury’s story “A Sound of Thunder.” A party of time travelers go into the past to hunt dinosaurs. Someone steps on a butterfly and changes the whole future.
Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has finally returned to Capitol Hill, having spent most of his tenure as a U.S. senator at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center being treated for clinical depression. Fetterman was discharged on March 31. While it’s good that he’s progressed with mental health issues, we haven’t forgotten about the lingering cognitive impairments that became a major issue of the campaign, as it was clear to anyone that this man wasn’t fit to serve in the U.S. Senate.

A short time back, our editor-in-chief said that there had been a school shooting in Nashville, and asked if anyone would cover it. I wrote the first story about it for PJ Media. The Biden administration has announced that the president will veto the H.R. 734 bill that seeks to protect female sports from transgender athletes.
H.R. 734, also known as “The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act,” was introduced by Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.) and is expected to come to vote in the House this week. The bill seeks to prevent biological males from participating in women’s sports. H.R. 734 will amend Title IX to recognize sex as “based solely on a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth.”
