Biden unveils toughest-ever car emissions
rules in bid to force electric vehicle purchases

The Biden administration unveiled the most aggressive tailpipe emissions ever crafted as part of its sweeping climate agenda and efforts to push Americans to buy electric vehicles (EV). The vehicle pollution standards, proposed Wednesday by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and announced by the White House, will impact car model years 2027 through 2032. The White House said the regulations would "protect public health" by achieving carbon emission reductions of nearly 10 billion tons by 2055 and would save consumers an average of $12,000 over the lifetime of vehicles. "Cars and truck manufacturers have made clear that the future of transportation is electric," the White House stated in a fact sheet.

Welcome to Cuba. Used car prices will soar and engine rebuilds will abound. Too bad so many cars depend on computers as chips may be hard to find but one suspects that a demand for old car chips will generate a supply.

The EV charging stations will be the ultimate Achilles' heel. Autos requiring hours to charge-up will be a tension point for those who are waiting in line. The charging stations also need to be maintained, Guess what? They break - and only unionized electrical contractors will be permitted to touch them. To top it off the amount of electricity needed will require a massive upgrade in utility lines. That will take decades to complete and will cost a fortune.

If--and it's a very big if--reality wins out over ideology, Al Gore, JF'n K, and the WEF, gasoline and diesel will make a big comeback at the expense of electric, which makes sense only in golf carts, not in cars for real (not boutique) transportation. I wouldn't have an e-car for any reason. They're impractical and might burn down not only your house or condo, but your neighbors' as well. When these over 1,000# lithium ion batteries catch fire, you never saw anything burn as intensely. Firefighters have said that the 800 gallons they carry onboard their firetrucks won't even nearly put our an e-car battery fire, which burns and burns and burns. A fire hydrant is necessary. And even that dog's urinal might not suffice if more than one e-car is toasting. Get these things out of here! And defeat any green luddite pol who insists we must go electric. Let them burn instead. Prediction: The e-car fad will be over when Elon Musk decides to start producing hybrid, then pure gasoline Teslas. Foolish pols have said there will be charging stations from coast to coast. I wouldn't want to be sitting there for several hours a long way from home waiting for my car to charge, and hoping the highwaymen don't show up. People charging their cars are sitting ducks for criminals, and many robbers will choose their victims accordingly.

Until such time as the car makers, or someone else comes up with a different source of energy for automobiles, electric is not the way to go. Think about it, if the whole country goes electric, what about, and how many charging stations would have to be built? It would not be economically feasible for the car manufacturers at all.

And then it felt like many of the hate crimes reported in the media were actually hoaxes? It didn’t stop the mainstream media from perpetuating the false narrative that Trump was to blame for a rise in hate crimes. Why? Because it appealed to the left’s ideology. The left wants to believe that America is a bigoted, racist country, and blaming Trump for it was the icing on the cake — and they made sure they had their slice and ate it, too.

People who say "love is love" are morons. Living in Washington taught me that. They never ask "how" or "for whom," and they somehow have the idea that you can just love, and everything will turn out great. If they'd ask questions, it wouldn't be so simple. For instance, is politics — one of the dirtiest and most unscrupulous games we play — love? Aren't you fighting for somebody when you're fighting somebody else? Can you love a criminal and a victim at the same time? Isn't love a choice toward one person or one group of people and an exclusion of some others?
