Los Angeles County Supervisors Hilda Solis and Lindsey Horvath have proposed a plan to “depopulate and decarcerate” county jails, releasing criminals to address what they call a “systemic racism” in criminal justice.
Solis, a former Democratic congresswoman and Secretary of Labor under President Barack Obama, and Horvath, a former mayor of West Hollywood who tried to bar President Donald Trump from the city, have proposed the plan, which will be voted on at the next Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is really making a name for himself on a national level, likely much to his eventual regret. After convincing a grand jury to bring preposterous charges against Donald Trump, Bragg had to find something to keep himself busy until Tuesday, and a New York garage attendant named Moussa Diarra offered him that opportunity. Diarra was working the overnight shift yesterday when he spotted Charles Rhodie rooting around the garage with a bag, apparently attempting to steal some of the tools and equipment in the garage. Diarra confronted Rhodie and demanded to inspect the bag.

Trans activists have been storming state capitols over the last few days. On March 29, it was Kentucky. On March 30, it was Tennessee. Now for the third day in a row, trans activists have stormed another state capitol.
This time, it’s Florida. But I’m fairly certain that none of these people will be charged with an effort to “obstruct an official proceeding,” after they screamed at the top of their lungs.
One of the organizers ranted, to whip up the crowd, “This fight does not end here. We keep showing up every single day. We keep making our voices heard.” Then

Every year, millions of Americans purchase much-needed products online along with the required postage. While most of the sellers are legitimate operations, a not-insignificant share is willing to use counterfeit postage to save a buck on taxpayers’ and consumers’ dime. According to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), “[i]n recent years, the use of counterfeit postage has increased substantially, especially on packages … it has resulted in a significant loss of revenue to the Postal Service.”Under the USPS’ proposed rule change, the Domestic Mail Manual would deem “counterfeit postage” as “undeliverable;” offending mail pieces “will be considered abandoned and disposed of at the discretion of the Postal Service.

Former Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and L.A. City Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas has been found guilty on seven of the 19 counts of the indictment lodged against him in October of 2021.
This indictment of Ridley-Thomas was years in the making. In 2018, the L.A. Times uncovered that the University of Southern California received a $100,000 donation from a campaign fund controlled by Ridley-Thomas. The Councilman’s son, Sebastian Ridley-Thomas, had previously been hired as a professor of social work and public policy, and was also given a scholarship by USC to attend graduate school. Somewhere along the line, that $100,000 gift ended up in a non-profit

In November 2022, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, along with Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, deposed Anthony Fauci (head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases [NIAID]) at the National Institutes for Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. [snip] During questioning, Dr. Fauci admitted that he got the idea for the unprecedented economic lockdowns in America based on the draconian measures taken by the Communist Chinese regime. Fauci sent his longtime co-hort Clifford Lane to China in February to assess the situation. Lane was enthralled with the Chinese measures and pushed the idea on Dr. Fauci.

Why the long face, John Kerry? Turns out Joe Biden’s climate czar is deeply concerned about our imminent death from climate change, but don’t worry, he has a plan to save us all—we’ll just get the Chinese, Russians, and Indians to work with us:
“We have to work with China, we have to work with India,” Kerry said during an interview Friday at Yahoo News’ New York offices. “We even have to find a way, ultimately, if we can resolve the war in Ukraine, to work with Russia, because Russia is a huge emitter. And any one of these countries has an ability — if it

Ford Motor Company says its electric vehicle (EV) unit, “Ford Model e,” is losing billions of dollars, and should be viewed as a startup company.
Model e has lost $3 billion before taxes over the last two years, and is expected to lose another $3 billion this year as the company invests in the new technology, according to a report by Associated Press. In 2021, Ford’s Model e unit had pretax losses of $900 million. And in 2022, that number was $2.1 billion. Ford reportedly believes Model e will be profitable before taxes by late 2026, with an eight percent pretax profit margin.

Oh, please. I’ll bet you a dollar that Missouri Democrat Rep. Cori Bush could no more define “nihilist,” let alone spell it, than she could teach a pigeon to spell “gun grabber.” Nonetheless, the “noted Constitutional scholar” [ahem] wants us to know where we can stick the Second Amendment, and it’s not in her inbox.
Although, it was delightful how Bush’s handlers included “insurrectionist” in her prattling little diatribe.
Seldom looking up from the notes shoved in front of her, Bush blathered:
We’re coming for the end of weak gun laws that allow people to buy an assault rifle, and kill and traumatize school children — traumatize teachers, and

The student who was accused of shooting and wounding two workers at his Denver high school has been found dead by police.
The Park County Coroners Office confirmed that they found 17-year-old Austin Lyle's body near his car in an apparent suicide, local reports said.
Lyle was accused of shooting faculty members as they were patting him down for weapons as part of a 'safety plan' devised for the youth based on previous behavioral issues.
The East High School student fled the shooting scene on foot immediately after Wednesday's violence, which unfolded just before 10am local time.

Her name is Abigail Zwerner and she’s the elementary school teacher in Virginia who became national news after she was shot by a 6-year-old on January 6. Zwerner was praised after the shooting because, despite being hit in the hand and the chest, she got all 20 of the kids in her class out of the room before leaving herself. She then spent two weeks in the hospital and has had multiple surgeries. Now she’s given her first interview to NBC News which will be aired in full tomorrow morning.[snip] Zwerner is filing a lawsuit later this month against the school system citing failures to respond to warnings

A Washington DC resident excoriated Dr. Anthony Fauci and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser as they went door to door in his Anacostia neighborhood encouraging residents to receive the Covid -19 vaccine
In footage going viral on social media, the DC resident blasts Fauci and the Democrat lawmaker for coercing the public to inject themselves with the Covid “vaccines,” a gene-editing technology that has taken more lives than any vaccine in history and prevents no transmission against the man-made virus.
“The people in America are not settled with the information that’s been given to us right now. So, I’m not going to be lining up, taking a shot or a vaccination for something
