DeSantis Responds to Indictment of President Trump

Original Article

Moments after former President Donald Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, Gov. Ron DeSantis has denounced the prosecution and indictment, calling it "un-American." "The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American. The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda," stated Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Comments:

Good on you, Ron. You really had no other choice, if you want to stay in the game but, more importantly, it’s the right thing to do. I’m hoping you overrode Karl Rove’s advice, or that even Karl Rove saw the writing on the wall on this one. Either way, thank you, governor. Now…NO BACKTRACKING.

Excellent response. I hope he stays his own man. But every Republican in Washington needs to fear this. If they can do it to Trump, as big and popular as he is, what do they think they will do to them.

Pathetic. Why won’t he even say Trump’s name? He should have said that ALL Americans who believe in the Constitution and rule of law have President Trump’s back—by name. DeSantis is a great governor. But this was pathetic.

Never Trumpers and all-out RINOS either celebrated or dramatically underplayed former President Trump’s indictment at the hands of Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Thursday. The New York Times reported on Thursday evening: A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Donald J. Trump on Thursday for his role in paying hush money to a porn star, according to four people with knowledge of the matter, a historic development that will shake up the 2024 presidential race and forever mark him as the nation’s first former president to face criminal charges.

An enduring mystery for three years is how Donald Trump came to be the president who shut down American society for what turned out to be a manageable respiratory virus, setting off an unspeakable crisis with waves of destructive fallout that continue to this day. Let’s review the timeline and offer some well-founded speculations about what happened. On March 9, 2020, Trump was still of the opinion that the virus could be handled by normal means.

Not long ago, Disney ripped off any pretense of being a family company and dove head-first into the social justice muck with an episode of “The Proud Family” that featured a slam poetry segment that echoed the fringe critical race theory claim that “slaves built this country.” As RedState reported, it soon surfaced that the writer of the show is a very loud and proud social justice radical named Latoya Raveneau, who has a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” and wants to introduce “queerness” to the shows your kids watch whenever she gets the chance. She also bragged that no one at Disney is trying to stop her.

If CTH had a small part in helping people to reset their reference points around modern electioneering, well, that’s a good thing. The difference between “ballots” and “votes” is previously explained {SEE HERE} and absolutely critical to understand before moving forward. Thankfully a large percentage of conservatives, intellectually honest independents and even some establishment republican donors have read our research and are now starting to have the ‘votes‘ vs ‘ballots‘ conversation. That understanding is critical, because any conversation that does not accurately identify and accept the problem is futile.CORRECTIONS*

The old axiom where someone yells, “look over there folks, shiny things“… as a process of distraction, is entirely apropos of how corporations that are running our current election systems are using the Trump -v- DeSantis discussion; with the backdrop of the 2022 midterm election as context. So, before moving forward to the heart of what we are being distracted from, check out this article from David Solway, he’s correct. Unless and until the critical issue of “votes” -vs- “ballots” is corrected, pushing DeSantis into the war against the administrative state is akin to throwing a decent general into a lost war.

President Trump can see and hear the same things everyone else can see and hear, including the coordinated media and GOPe effort to diminish him and the MAGA movement within the Republican club. The Democrats and professional Republican class both want to see the populist movement destroyed for the same reason Mitch McConnell wanted the Tea Party destroyed in 2010. The assembly of the united middle-class and blue-collar base inside the Republican Party, essentially the broad MAGA movement, represents a Main Street threat to Wall Street control of the GOPe.

The tragic shootings in Tennessee this week have unsurprisingly brought out the worst in progressive media. Although three of the victims were children, a fact that should dominate the coverage of such a terrible crime, mainstream outlets have spent an inordinate amount of time lamenting the “increased danger” to transgender people after learning the shooter identified as transgender. Now comes word that one outlet actually went so far as to ban reporters from using the term “transgender” to describe the transgender shooter.
