How They Convinced Trump To Lock Down

Original Article

An enduring mystery for three years is how Donald Trump came to be the president who shut down American society for what turned out to be a manageable respiratory virus, setting off an unspeakable crisis with waves of destructive fallout that continue to this day. Let’s review the timeline and offer some well-founded speculations about what happened. On March 9, 2020, Trump was still of the opinion that the virus could be handled by normal means.

Comments:

It gives me no pleasure to post this, but I know so many of us have questions as to why Trump listened to so many Deep Staters. I think an outsider to Washington DC might think they know how deep the corruption is and how to deal with it, but unless you are part of it, you have no idea. I believe this was Trump’s biggest drawback. Who wouldn’t assume that even though members of your own party may have not liked you, that they would pull together for the sake of the party, people country? I can only hope that if he is the Republican nominee, that he has now learned some hard lessons when dealing with these monsters.

This is why Trump's attempt to attack DeSantis' handling of the pandemic in Florida is so unbelievably foolish. It's the quintessential throwing of stones inside of a glass house.

I've always suspected that Trump was lied to. There were bureaucrats all around him giving bad advice and false information determined to destroy him.

Pres. Trump had no idea how bad or not bad the coronavirus would be. If lots of people died quickly, and he had not locked down, thngs would have been rough for him.

i suspect that most people would think that experts and advisors would of course put the physical health of citizens before their agendas. ha! how wrong that was. and the thought that not following lockdown advice could possibly kill millions would weigh heavily on any thinking feeling person even if all the pieces of it were not logical. dealing with a supposed bioweapon nationally was uncharted territory. but DJT definitely was having suspicions about his actions late spring 2020 when he talked of opening up around Easter 2020. the idea that he was influenced by security analysts - and therefore perhaps classified info - could explain why he skirts the subject. i'm amazed he can contain himself by not disclosing how he was misled on this as well as the possible downsides of the vaccine. he could write some book. but now he knows what snakes lurk in DC i imagine he is high skeptical - which is why i would support him again. he knows now to go with his instincts which are 95% good rather than expert (!)advice from those he doesn't know on just about everything. certainly that would include personnel as well.

It is beyond me why Donald Trump put Mike Pence in charge. I would have put Ben Carson in charge; after all, he is a doctor and a good one. Yes, I understand he is a neurologist etc. but he still is a doctor. Mike Pence was not. Naturally, Pence gravitates to Fauci and Birx and now we have the pandemic of 2020. This is what I question about Donald Trump.

It is hard to imagine a more evil bunch than the ones who swim in the Washington DC swamp. They really put partisan politics and their own agenda above everything even life and death. Fauci is particularly evil on a scale unimaginable to the vast majority of Americans. Who could do what he has done? Worse, he feels no remorse and would do it again. I would wager that President Trump had many sleepless nights and days filled with worry. He was in unchartered water and had to trust the experts. Remember when they told him we needed ventilators? He went to work solving that problem. Then when they told him a vaccine could be created to stop the spread. He did everything in his power to support the pharmaceutical companies so they could produce them because he, like most of us trusted the experts. When he mentioned hydro chloroquine or any other drug that may be effective, he was soundly rebuked and called a fool. They harshly criticized medical professions who disagreed with them even going to the length to destroy their careers. This, like every other crisis the democrats encountered would not be allowed to go to waste. It was a weapon they used to pummel President Trump with every day regardless of the consequences. People died alone and suffered needlessly because the left believed they could use this horrific tragedy to damage Trump and regain power. You want a villain to blame look no further than Fauci, Brix, the alphabet health agencies, medical professionals, hospital administrators, the media, big tech, woke corporations and the democrat party. Every decision was a crap shoot thanks to these people. They closed ranks and would brook no dissent. It would be a totally different ballgame today. People have seen their perfidy and they don’t trust any of the people who were lying to us. They know who they are and I don’t believe Americans will ever be taken advantage of like they were during the manufactured Covid tragedy including Donald John Trump.

Please. We knew exactly what was happening and said so in real time right here on Lcom. President Trump was handed a lose/lose scenario with no, zero, null set, empty set zeho (Ger.) possibility of navigating it safely. If he ignores the med advise of the **entire, global med establishment,** every single death that occurred, real, fake or imagined, would be hung on his neck. If he follows the global medical advice he will be guilty of over-reacting and they will hang the backlash around his neck. There was No Possible escape path to navigate. None. So he trotted out the "experts" and made them own the "proper course to proceed." He also let the states own it individually and pledged his full support to them, which he did. Donald Trump was the President of a populace where about 1/2 the population thinks men can have babies. They think scientists invented a machine that can suck carbon out of Planet Earth's atmosphere to affect its climate. Regarding science and technology, they are malleable as silly putty and literally ignorant. Going forward the best he can say is: "we went through together. I got vaxxed. My family got vaxxed. My young son got vaxxed. It is likely the vax did same some lives of the very vulnerable. It is unknown how many it cost. We will now proceed with full knowledge of what actually transpired, recognize the true heroes and make the guilty pay for their crimes. This includes the NIH. This includes chicoms. This includes First Amendment throttlers."

Let's not forget that this virus appears to have been sourced to a leak from a lab. A project funded by US govt funds (our taxes). For the supposed research topic of 'gain of function'. To me, that means, can 'we' use this for some purpose? For what purpose exactly? And by whom (meaning by what govt organization)? Why the research there? Perhaps because research of this type cannot be done in this country (illegal, too difficult to do due to regulatory / oversight reasons, too costly, ??). Then the virus leaks. And what follows follows.

#2 gets it. When you are surrounded by so many people that were supposed to be caring, trustworthy and competent, you give them the benefit of the doubt. Who could have guessed that the CDC, FBI, CIA, NSA, airlines, police forces, unions, medical industry, school teachers and the governors of so many states would take advantage of America's misfortune, collaborate with foreign enemies in gain of function research and use their power to shut down a country to take full control of the people. Unfortunately, the stupid half of America fell for it and citizens were forced to comply or lose their jobs and liberties. They also fell for the "mostly peaceful riot" and BLM propaganda. Donald Trump agreed to two weeks and realized the mistake too late. The man is not perfect, Close, but not perfect.

Fascinating take. Add to the mix, on Feb 7 Trump told Woodward, in a taped conversation (why Republican Presidents give Woodward so much access is a mystery for another day), that Covid was much worse than the worse flu. Then, as late as March 9, he was saying it wasn’t nearly as bad as flu. Then, on March 10, the deep state got him to change his mind by convincing him the vaccine would be ready before the election and he’d be a hero if he shut down. (Or so hypothesizes this article) So, Trump shuts down but later, on March 24, he says we will be open by Easter (April 12). But he knew the vaccine would not be ready by anytime close to April 12. That’s the timeline; don’t shoot the messenger.

My take: Fauci knew that a Frankenstein virus the gain-of-function research he was funding at the Wuhan lab had somehow escaped into the population. Not knowing anything about how bad it might be, he and some others were terrified they had triggered a mass extinction event. So they all scrambled, kept everyone in the dark as best they could as to their own involvement, and played all sides against the middle, inhcluding playing the President, to keep from being found out. This was not a "normal" virus, having either been gene-splliced together or bred from naturally occurring mutations grown in human tisuue. But their only hope was that it would behave like a normal virus and mutate itself into a very mild but very contatious common cold. President Trump was being lied to by everyone, including his director of HHS who admitted on camera that his initial claim that masks were not necessaryt was made in order to hoard masks for health care workers even though he believed at the time that it was not true. During this time, Diogenes never found what he wsa looking for. Trump 2024

Read two books, The Plague Upon. Our House by Dr. Scott Atlas and Silent Invasion by Dr. Deborah Birx. Both chronicle how the career bureaucrats, medical academia hacks, political elites and propagandists lied to the public and lied to President Trump. Birx takes the history a few chapters further and confesses to their known vaccine efficacy. One author should be hired to head the NIH while the other should be held without bail.

This whole thing was planned at venues such as the infamous Oval Office meeting on Friday 13th Jan 2021 called by Barack Hussein Mohammed. The authorization for funding gain of function research outside the US was explicitly given at this meeting for this very purpose. The 'National Security' experts who closed in on an unsuspecting Trump on Match 10, 2020 could have done so at Hussein's direction. Nothing is too far fetched in this business.

I agree with all comments about Trump's no-win position. But let's face it - this virus did not "somehow escape from a lab" as one poster implied. It was released prior to a presidential election, with the intention of creating utter chaos. It worked beyond the Deep State's wildest dreams.

#22, I have never believed it was an accidental leak, either. Many of the players broadcasted their intentions in public and private lectures and literature years before the pandemic actually happened, but they framed it as an academic or theoretical exercise. Nancy Pelosi took an entourage to China in January of 2020, right after impeachment failed to remove President Trump from office. Barely a month after she got back, Covid began to explode. With the left, there are no accidents, and no coincidences.

Before President Donald John Trump got into politics he was used to dealing with competent and intelligent people. He did not realize how corrupt, evil, self-centered, and incompetent federal employees were and trusted them. The next time his first day in office he should fire every person who reports to him and he has control with the proviso they can reapply if they choose.

It was a breath of fresh are to first arrive in Texas, but prior to that I noted when pumping gas and grabbing a coffee most highways were amenable. WA &OR campgrounds were open even though the wacky governors had shut down most everything else. Trump left it up to the individual states so I fault the governors. My family of medical 🏥 workers worked through the pandemic 😷 in the NE but then were laid off because they didn’t take the shot. Rewriting of History is so Orwellian ! Fauci should be in jail.

What choice did Trump have? The media was already all over him for some of his suggestions for handling Covid. Some of which have since been proven true and did work. The media however just told Trump he wasn't a doctor so listening to him wasn't sound advice. It also didn't help with little Fauci making faces behind Trump when Trump was giving updates on the Covid situation. I still think that was part of the demoslut plan to get rid of Trump. Have this little POS clown from D.C. make faces behind the President to diminish Trump's statue. Trump really didn't have a choice but to take advice from D.C. insiders. If he ignored them, he's the killer of thousands and the person who spread the virus everywhere. If he followed their advice, then the demosluts in control of states and cities across the country could become what they always wanted to be, dictators. With ultimate control and the media trumpeting the dems efforts to control the virus, Trump would be seen as the guy who wanted to have the virus spread and not as someone trying to keep the country going despite a virus.

Covid is Trump’s Achilles heal. I don’t understand why he is attacking DeSantis, who as a governor at the time had nothing to do with federal policy. Obviously Trump does have to explain his actions to deal with the virus and I can’t imagine how he can skate on his responsibility in shutting down the country. In March of 2020 the panic level was ratcheted up to such a level that Western governments and our own enacted policies that ruined their economies and crushed civil liberties. Only Sweden ignored the hysteria and handled the pandemic correctly. Trump often criticized that country. Trump was rolled, as were others. I hope he figures out how to deal with his failure.

The mark of a good executive is to take in data and advice, and decide wisely. Trump apparently failed. By March 2020, more than three years into his term, PDT was no longer a babe in the woods in the politics of national government, or is a slow learner. It appears that he was doing his Trumpian thing, showboating to appear the eventual hero in time for the '20 elections, taking charge, firing off lockdown orders, demanding production of respirators (never used) by corrupting the Defense Production Act (we were at "war" with COVIDS), and hustling Project Warp Speed and mRNA "vaccines", not to mention approving programs that spent $14 TRILLION and added 50 percent to the national debt. If all failed, both as a way out of the pandemic and as politics. He compounded that by abandoning his bully pulpit to Fauci and Birx at the outset, and never reigned Fauci in, nor fired him. And while formerly pushing that the vaccines are safe and effective, now he retreats behind, "You have to understand, there are the pros and cons...Then you'll read other reports [that] say there were some problems with the vaccine…but relatively small numbers." Nothing to see here...

I used to say good help is hard to find in Washington. I am going to change that. I will now say good help is IMPOSSIBLE to find in Washington. All that incompetence and corruption. I remember hearing the criticism that Trump is a poor judge of character and hired the wrong people. Take one look at Washington. There are absolutely none he could trust there, and anyone he brought in didn't have enough pull to change things. The problem wasn't Trump. He quickly lost control. It was, and is, Washington, and the real powers behind it. They took power away from him. In the end, Washington neutered Trump. They manipulated Trump right off the playing board. If he ever becomes President again, will the same thing happen again?

Very interesting article. However, anyone with an ounce of common sense was saying, two weeks into the virus, “we’re being had.” At that point, they made it sound like Covid was an “all hands on deck” medical emergency - at the same time, the University of Colorado Medical Center in Aurora was laying off nurses and residents, and medical personnel all over the country were affected the same way. None of it made sense, unless you looked at it as a way to take control of the nation. Then they mandated wearing masks everywhere, overcoming their earlier objection to masking by saying “well, we lied to you at first, so we’d have enough masks for the medical people.” They admitted lying, so they could get people to believe their next lie. Any reasonable person knew that masks didn’t stop the virus. Everything that followed was an attempt to destroy America as we knew it - and they’re still trying.

If CTH had a small part in helping people to reset their reference points around modern electioneering, well, that’s a good thing. The difference between “ballots” and “votes” is previously explained {SEE HERE} and absolutely critical to understand before moving forward. Thankfully a large percentage of conservatives, intellectually honest independents and even some establishment republican donors have read our research and are now starting to have the ‘votes‘ vs ‘ballots‘ conversation. That understanding is critical, because any conversation that does not accurately identify and accept the problem is futile.CORRECTIONS*

The old axiom where someone yells, “look over there folks, shiny things“… as a process of distraction, is entirely apropos of how corporations that are running our current election systems are using the Trump -v- DeSantis discussion; with the backdrop of the 2022 midterm election as context. So, before moving forward to the heart of what we are being distracted from, check out this article from David Solway, he’s correct. Unless and until the critical issue of “votes” -vs- “ballots” is corrected, pushing DeSantis into the war against the administrative state is akin to throwing a decent general into a lost war.

President Trump can see and hear the same things everyone else can see and hear, including the coordinated media and GOPe effort to diminish him and the MAGA movement within the Republican club. The Democrats and professional Republican class both want to see the populist movement destroyed for the same reason Mitch McConnell wanted the Tea Party destroyed in 2010. The assembly of the united middle-class and blue-collar base inside the Republican Party, essentially the broad MAGA movement, represents a Main Street threat to Wall Street control of the GOPe.

As the political discussion centers on the 2022 wins and losses from the midterm election, one thing that stands out in similarity to the 2020 general election is the difference between ballots and votes. It appears in some states this is the ‘new normal.’ Where votes were the focus, the Biden administration suffered losses. Where ballots were the focus, the Biden administration won.

Ford Motor Company says its electric vehicle (EV) unit, “Ford Model e,” is losing billions of dollars, and should be viewed as a startup company. Model e has lost $3 billion before taxes over the last two years, and is expected to lose another $3 billion this year as the company invests in the new technology, according to a report by Associated Press. In 2021, Ford’s Model e unit had pretax losses of $900 million. And in 2022, that number was $2.1 billion. Ford reportedly believes Model e will be profitable before taxes by late 2026, with an eight percent pretax profit margin.

Hollywood, specifically the film industry, is going through a legitimate, serious, and potentially fatal phase. No one likes the movies anymore. The key to a healthy industry—audience goodwill—is evaporating quickly. Sure, there have been some recent hits. Avatar: The Way of Water just became the second-highest worldwide grosser (not counting for inflation) in history. The last three or four Marvel movies have made money. But let’s not kid ourselves. Avatar 2, just like Avatar 1, has had no cultural impact whatsoever. I know of one person who saw it, and when asked his opinion, he replied with a shrug. My guess, and this is just a guess,

Before getting to the latest developments regarding the worries of the mid-tier donor class within the Republican apparatus, I want to provide some context for the overall Ron DeSantis (RdS) management agenda. (snip)I can trace the origin of the RdS 2024 scheme to an originating timeframe in late fall 2021. It may go back further than that, but it is at least in place by the late fall of 2021. That means that everything within the professional Republican apparatus,(snip)had RdS ’24 as the agenda throughout the 2022 midterm calendar. Minnesota lawmakers on Thursday advanced legislation that would establish the state as a "trans refuge" for children who are seeking transgender medical procedures but who may be denied "gender-affirming care" in other states. In a party-line 68-62 vote, the Minnesota House passed HF 146, which had been introduced by Rep. Leigh Finke of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. Finke is the state's first transgender lawmaker. Democrats supporting the bill say the legislation will protect transgender people, their families and healthcare providers from facing legal repercussions for traveling to Minnesota to obtain cross-sex hormone prescriptions or sex-change procedures.

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) slammed the New York and Georgia investigations into former President Trump as being part of a “cancer in our body politic,” arguing they are politically motivated. Cuomo told John Catsimatidis, who hosts the talk radio show “The Cats Roundtable,” in an interview on WABC 770 that he expects Trump will be indicted in Manhattan next week. He said he “doesn’t understand” why Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) is “putting such an emphasis” on the case investigating a hush-money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A Yale University business student is proposing renaming Whitney Avenue in New Haven. Robert Lucas, an MBA student, said the legacy of Eli Whitney should be studied, not celebrated. “Things won’t change unless someone speaks up,” Lucas said. Lucas is set to graduate this spring. He’s spent his time in New Haven getting to know the history of the area. “Eli Whitney’s principal legacy was the invention of the cotton gin, and that led to the expansion of slavery,” Lucas said. He’s hoping to rename the stretch of Whitney Avenue that runs through New Haven.
