Former Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Friday called on former President Donald Trump to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race after news broke that a grand jury had voted to indict him(Snip)
Hutchinson contended that Trump should respect the office of the presidency by not running while indicted."When a public official is indicted, I think with regard to the office, the office is more important than the person and they should step aside. That standard should apply here,"

I see Hutchinson studied from the same lie-beral government textbook as Nasty Nancy Pelosi -- where you are guilty until proven innocent!!!
Nope Asa, Trump is innocent until proven guilty (which won't happen since he is not guilty of anything except being Donald Trump)!!!!

I don't live in Arkansas, but if I did, this guy lost my vote. Never, ever, would I support a guy who would try to take advantage of a situation like this. The proverbial, kick them when their down kind of guy. Exactly what we don't need in the republican party. I hope this guys political career is OVER.

In the modern Trial By Media era, the indictment, alone, might be enough to KO PDJT. Even if he's positively cleared of charges, saturating the media with negative coverage of him could be as effective as a conviction in court.

If Asa Hutchinson’s suggestion to Trump to step aside actually happens, it would not be long before many Republican candidates for high office across the country would find themselves the victims of Democrat “law-fare” political persecutions and would be told to step aside.

Hutchinson thinks Trump dropping out of the 2024 Presidential race will clear the way for HIS Presidential campaign.
Oh, you didn't know he's running in 2024? Don't feel bad - hardly anybody else noticed it, either...

The Governor of Arkansas feels that Trump should step aside
because he was indicted. Hmmm.
Maybe the news that you can indict a ham sandwich
hasn't reached Arkansas yet.

FTA: "When a public official is indicted, I think with regard to the office, the office is more important than the person and they should step aside. That standard should apply here,"
"Candidate" is not a public office. How can he "stand aside" from being Former President?
Or his Hutchinson implying that Trump really IS the current president?

No, Asa. All of the other Republican candidates are the ones that should “step aside” from their campaigns and unite behind Trump to take this Republic back. This country needs unity to fight this & Trump is the only proven leader to get that job done on this scale. THEY KNOW IT - that’s the reason for these UN-AMERICAN attacks against him - AND YOU KNOW IT!
