I’ve given Politico a lot of crap lately, so I think it’s time to give them some props. Not major props, but praise nonetheless. I ran across this story the other day, and with the exception of some unnecessary digs at the Bad Orange Man, the story was worth reading. By now attacking Trump is just a tic the MSM can’t avoid, so it’s hard to blame them in this instance. It’s unconscious, like scratching an itch. A clown show is funny. The FBI/KGB is NOT funny, they are a very dangerous band of politicized criminals with badges.

PDT has promised to uproot the Deep State in his second Administration. Well, at least there will be no dispute as to where to start.

Waco - A defiant and incendiary Donald Trump, facing a potential indictment, held the first rally of his 2024 presidential campaign Saturday in Waco, Texas, a city made famous by deadly resistance against law enforcement. In an extraordinary display, Trump opened his rally by playing a song, “Justice for All,” that features a choir of men imprisoned for their role in the Jan. 6, 2021, deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol singing the national anthem and a recording of Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Some footage from the insurrection was shown on screens. Trump, in a speech brimming with resentments

Mansoor Adayfi, a Yemeni citizen who was held for 14 years at Guantanamo Bay, claimed that Ron DeSantis observed his brutal force-feeding by guards during a hunger strike in 2006. The story was published in The Independent last week. When I read the hit piece against DeSantis last week, I thought to myself that it is just another story meant to ding DeSantis up before he announces his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president. It seems that every day brings a new story or two from Democrats or Trump loyalists who are attempting to keep DeSantis out of the primary. Democrats don’t want DeSantis to be the Republican candidate

"Real Time" host Bill Maher kicked off his panel discussion Friday night by arguing against bringing criminal charges against former President Donald Trump, specifically for the alleged crimes from the Manhattan probe. "I really don't want to give Donald Trump the satisfaction of talking about him," Maher chuckled as he began the conversation. "I thought when he was gone, he'd be gone a little bit. But, you know, there is an ex-president out there now who's going to be arrested — possibly. And he is talking about violence in the streets of his supporters if he does." He continued: "I just would like to go on record in saying

Regulators again assured the public that the banking system is safe, as fresh data showed customers recently pulled nearly $100 billion in deposits. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and more than a dozen other officials convened a special closed meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council on Friday. A readout from the session indicated that a New York Fed staff member briefed the group on “market developments.” “The Council discussed current conditions in the banking sector and noted that while some institutions have come under stress, the U.S. banking system remains sound and resilient,” the statement said. “The Council also discussed

The Press Are Really Angry at Ron DeSantis

Ron DeSantis has pioneered a new strategy in dealing with the press. Namely, he largely ignores them. For years, outlets like CNN and The New York Times have relied on access to politicians they despise and constantly smear. And for years, Republicans have played along, believing they need the publicity in order to communicate with the American public. Even Donald Trump, famously adversarial with the press, has continued to give interviews to people like Maggie Haberman and Bob Woodward. DeSantis has chosen another path, not even bothering to give his political enemies, which the press obviously are, the free material.

Thursday the guided missile destroyer USS Milius sailed near some islands in the South China Sea that China claims as its own. Actually three different countries claim the Paracel Islands but China currently occupies them. Here’s a map showing the locations of some of the disputed islands in the South China Sea. So when the USS Milius sailed around the Paracel Islands Thursday, China reacted by claiming they had forced the destroyer out of their territory. China’s military said that the USS Milius, a guided missile destroyer, had “illegally intruded into China‘s Xisha territorial waters without the approval of the Chinese government.” Chinese forces monitored, warned

Intel co-founder Gordon Moore, a legendary technologist who foresaw the transformative possibilities of semiconductor technology and helped chart the industry’s revolutionary path, died Friday at age 94. Intel said Moore died at his home in Hawaii. Before helping launch Intel with colleague Robert Noyce in 1968, Moore had prophesized exponential growth in semiconductor technology. In a seminal 1965 paper, Moore predicted that the number of transistors on an integrated circuit would double annually as technology advanced – a maxim that became Moore’s Law, one of the computer chip industry’s guidance principles.

A federal judge has rejected former President Donald Trump's claims of executive privilege and has ordered Mark Meadows and other former top aides to testify before a federal grand jury investigating Trump's efforts to overturn the election leading up to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News. Meadows, Trump's former chief of staff, was subpoenaed along with the other former aides by Special counsel Jack Smith for testimony and documents related to the probe. Trump's legal team had challenged the subpoenas by asserting executive privilege, which is the right of a president to keep confidential the communications he has with advisers.

The House passed legislation on Friday to create a Parents Bill of Rights that would require schools to publish their curricula publicly and to share with parents a list of books and other materials that are available in school libraries. The bill, which passed in a 213-208 vote, would also require schools to allow parents to meet with their children’s teachers and to alert parents when violence occurs on campus. The measure would also give parents a voice when schools create or update policies and procedures surrounding student privacy. Sharp declines in banking shares in Europe have renewed concerns that the panic triggered by the collapse of two US banks and rushed takeover of Swiss giant Credit Suisse may not be easily contained. Shares in Germany's Deutsche Bank fell by 14% at one point on Friday, with other lenders also seeing big losses. London's FTSE 100 ended the day down 1.3%, while stock markets in Germany and France dropped even more sharply. Falls were less severe in the US. But shares in financial firms, including giants such as JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, weighed on the indexes, which were all trading lower around mid-day in New York. In Europe, the banks hit

Despite professing to be a devout Catholic, Pelosi promotes several policies that conflict with Christian doctrines, such as advocating for unrestricted access to abortion.“I think I’m pro-life because I care about children and the rest,” she proudly stated. Pelosi then proceeded to condemn Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone for refusing to offer her communion

Ford Motor Company says its electric vehicle (EV) unit, “Ford Model e,” is losing billions of dollars, and should be viewed as a startup company. Model e has lost $3 billion before taxes over the last two years, and is expected to lose another $3 billion this year as the company invests in the new technology, according to a report by Associated Press. In 2021, Ford’s Model e unit had pretax losses of $900 million. And in 2022, that number was $2.1 billion. Ford reportedly believes Model e will be profitable before taxes by late 2026, with an eight percent pretax profit margin.

According to the reports, the tension between Biden and Harris stems from a belief that she has not “risen to the occasion” and is failing to reduce his workload adequately. Some officials claimed that Harris is fearful of making mistakes, leading to her being late in joining important political battles, such as

Hollywood, specifically the film industry, is going through a legitimate, serious, and potentially fatal phase. No one likes the movies anymore. The key to a healthy industry—audience goodwill—is evaporating quickly. Sure, there have been some recent hits. Avatar: The Way of Water just became the second-highest worldwide grosser (not counting for inflation) in history. The last three or four Marvel movies have made money. But let’s not kid ourselves. Avatar 2, just like Avatar 1, has had no cultural impact whatsoever. I know of one person who saw it, and when asked his opinion, he replied with a shrug. My guess, and this is just a guess,

Kirby said, “I think, first of all, calling this an alliance is a bit of a stretch. I refer to it as a marriage of convenience, certainly not one of affection. President Xi sees in President Putin a useful foil and a counterweight to American influence, particularly in Europe.

Oil companies have come under increasing legal scrutiny and face allegations of defrauding investors, racketeering, and a wave of other lawsuits. But a new paper argues there’s another way to hold big oil accountable for climate damage: trying companies for homicide. The striking and seemingly radical legal theory is laid out in a paper accepted for publication in the Harvard Environmental Law Review. In it, the authors argue fossil fuel companies “have not simply been lying to the public, they have been killing members of the public at an accelerating rate, and prosecutors should bring that crime to the public’s attention”.

But Kyle’s heartbreaking story has some rather concerning and extenuating circumstances: Kyle had abandoned his birth name and instead, was living as Kayleigh Scott…he was “transgender.” More than that though, Kyle was a poster child for the “trans” movement and corporate “inclusion” policies like DIE. In 2020 United Airlines celebrated “Kayleigh” in a woke public relations campaign video:
