(Snip) "The $1 million bond in Will County guaranteed the public’s safety from this violent offender and his appearance in court while he awaited his trial. The tax-payers of Cook county not the state should be held fiscally responsible for not having dealt with his prior violations appropriately.

After a Tennessee librarian was fired for sparking a disruption at an event by women’s sports activist Riley Gaines and actor Kirk Cameron, Gaines told The Post it’s all about politics and liberal activism. Sumner County, Tennessee, library director Allan Morales was axed in a 4-3 vote by the library’s board, after he and his staff allegedly created a ruckus at the February 25 reading for kids. “They were talking very loudly. They were slamming doors. Then all of a sudden they started blaring music and dropping books,” Gaines recalled. (Snip) She added, “I’ve never in my life seen older women act so immaturely.”

As the Chicago Bears make plans to build a new stadium, taxpayers still are on the hook for the old one. A big bill is coming soon —and the primary method of paying for it may not be enough. Whether or not the team leaves for its newly acquired site in Arlington Heights, the public is obligated to pay for the 2003 renovation of Soldier Field that was meant to keep the team there. Due to refinancing and years of primarily paying interest instead of principal, the debt owed for Soldier Field has ballooned from the original $399 million to $631 million

As Wisconsinites get ready to cast their votes for Supreme Court justice on April 4, one leftist group is busy bungling the election across the state. Earlier this month, the Center for Voter Information flooded Wisconsin with pre-filled absentee ballot applications to gin up support for Democrats, most notably far-left Supreme Court candidate Janet Protasiewicz. There was only one problem: The center botched voters’ names, creating confusion and alarm in a state already troubled by election mistrust and security. Georgian authorities used tear gas and water cannons outside the parliament building in the capital Tuesday against protesters who oppose a proposed law some see as stifling freedom of the press and coming from Russia. The law, which has received initial approval, would require media outlets and nongovernmental organisations that receive more than 20 percent of their funding from foreign sources to register as “agents of foreign influence.” International organisations have voiced concern over the draft law, saying it runs against Georgia’s democratic development. Georgia’s President Salome Zourabichvili condemned his country's parliament for the introduction of the law claiming it was "dictated by Moscow".

Oil companies have come under increasing legal scrutiny and face allegations of defrauding investors, racketeering, and a wave of other lawsuits. But a new paper argues there’s another way to hold big oil accountable for climate damage: trying companies for homicide. The striking and seemingly radical legal theory is laid out in a paper accepted for publication in the Harvard Environmental Law Review. In it, the authors argue fossil fuel companies “have not simply been lying to the public, they have been killing members of the public at an accelerating rate, and prosecutors should bring that crime to the public’s attention”.

Political correctness and woke virtues are like neatly-laid pavers, creating a path that can only lead to tragedy and death; news broke today that a young man named Kyle, who was obviously suffering tremendously from debilitating mental illness, has killed himself. But Kyle’s heartbreaking story has some rather concerning and extenuating circumstances: Kyle had abandoned his birth name and instead, was living as Kayleigh Scott…he was “transgender.” More than that though, Kyle was a poster child for the “trans” movement and corporate “inclusion” policies like DIE.
