Biden's vaccine mandate for federal workers
blocked by appeals court

President Biden's mandate that about 3.5 million federal employees get vaccinated against COVID-19 was blocked by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday. The president originally issued the executive order in September 2021, requiring workers to be vaccinated unless they have a medical or religious exemption. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Brown issued an injunction blocking the mandate in January 2022, but a three-judge panel on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated the mandate last April. On Thursday, 10 of the 5th Circuit's 16 judges reversed that decision, ruling that there is no constitutional basis for requiring federal employees to be vaccinated.

Day late and a dollar short. A very large number of employees got the suicide shot just to keep their jobs and retirements, and hoped to live to get it. I know of one agency that was blanket approving all religious exemption requests, but they were the exception.

Dem playbook 101. Sign an executive order that is unconstitutional. By the time the courts overturn it, the damage will have been done.

#6, I’ve wondered that too and think that Xiden probably just got saline, as did many of our political elites. However, just from observing, I’ve come to the conclusion that the jabs are not nearly as dangerous for seniors as they are for younger people. I know many people over the age of 65 who have had the jab and all of the boosters and they’re fine. Maybe it was formulated in order to take out the young because the elderly won’t be around much longer anyway. Sounds crazy, but then everything that’s happened in the last 3 years used to be unthinkable.

At this point in time what difference does it make. The people that were required to get the jab either did or were fired--mission accomplished, resistance is futile, submit to the collective, join the clapping seals.

And many federal employees have been teleworking during the "pandemic" so other than being around family and friends - they were/are no danger to the public. Plus, many agencies have unionized employees, FAA and its air traffic controllers (yes, PATCO is gone but replaced b - NATCA) and these unions were silent about fighting this mandated vaccine for its members. Ah unions - not really on the side of its members/workers but in the pocket of the Dem Party.

The reason it was reversed was that it was unconstitutional. Which it was, but NYC's health depart head, Dr. Ashwin Vasan said it's OK to relax it because it's no longer a health emergency. That's not the case to stop the mandates. Using his logic, they could be re-instituted by fiat. Still unconstitutional. Now, how do people who were fired get their lives back?

Issue corrective Action so Every person forced out of their job due to NOT taking the Poison Vax should be immediately reinstated with full back pay and a $10 Million bonus/penalty to the Govt. for illegally firing them! Additionally anyone that partook in enforcing Joey's illegal order should be immediately TERMINATED with No Retirement an a $5Mil fine each. Does this sound harsh? I don't think so. For #6's question, I saw on TV at the time the Prez, and then Veep were shown on camera ''getting a syringe applied to an upper arm'' I opined that it could have been anything in the syringe; maybe it was medicine? Maybe it was a Ringer's injection? Maybe it was methadone? Who knows? I seriously doubt that they got the charley-vector-oh-one-niner the rest of us were ordered to take. If you are over 50, you may remember the polio med given to school children in the form of a purple sugar cube. If you are over 75, you remember the actual polio injection. Owie! This gov has longed to grab us all by the short and curly just to mess with us. 23 months ago I would not have made that statement, even at gun point. Go to public school in the 50's? WASHINGTON — Ron DeSantis may be missing his moment. A number of the Florida governor’s donors and allies are worried his recent stumbles suggest he may not be ready for a brutal fight against Donald Trump. Some feel DeSantis needs to accelerate his timeline to run for the GOP presidential nomination and begin directly confronting Trump if he's to have any chance of thwarting the former president’s momentum. Others believe DeSantis should sidestep Trump altogether and wait until 2028 to run. At a Sunday luncheon following the annual Red Cross ball in Palm Beach, Florida, a group of 16 prominent Republicans, described by one attendee as a mix of DeSantis backers

Former President Donald Trump trashed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) at the first rally of his 2024 presidential campaign in Waco, Texas, on Saturday night. Trump hit DeSantis on a number of fronts, including Social Security, Medicare, and the coronavirus pandemic, but his harshest criticism came on the issue of loyalty. Trump recounted that an emotional DeSantis approached him during Florida’s 2018 gubernatorial primary race against Adam Putnam and essentially begged for an endorsement to help land the nomination: But I’m a loyalist, and when a man comes to me, tears in his eyes, he’s at almost nothing in the polls, and he’s fighting somebody that’s at 42 [percent],

Ron DeSantis has pioneered a new strategy in dealing with the press. Namely, he largely ignores them. For years, outlets like CNN and The New York Times have relied on access to politicians they despise and constantly smear. And for years, Republicans have played along, believing they need the publicity in order to communicate with the American public. Even Donald Trump, famously adversarial with the press, has continued to give interviews to people like Maggie Haberman and Bob Woodward. DeSantis has chosen another path, not even bothering to give his political enemies, which the press obviously are, the free material.

In a seminal 1965 paper, Moore predicted that the number of transistors on an integrated circuit would double annually as technology advanced – a maxim that became Moore’s Law, one of the computer chip industry’s guidance principles.
