Self-described “woke” Defense Department schools official Kelisa Wing, whose anti-white social media comments garnered national attention last fall, has been reassigned to an unrelated role, The Post has learned. (Snip) “I’m so exhausted at these white folx in these [professional development] sessions this lady actually had the CAUdacity to say black people can be racist too,” she wrote in one post from June 2020, using a portmanteau for “Caucasian audacity.”

This is what Government does with people who are incompetent. Instead of firing them they move them--------------or promote them to get rid of them where they are. It's easier than putting them on the street where they belong.

Well, well. Not only is this woke leftist manipulating educational standards in Dept. of Defense schools, she’s putting her OWN books in the libraries - talk about a racket! She should be fired, not “reassigned”. Guess who paid for those books? You and me, AKA the taxpayers. I’m begging to think nothing short of an earth extinction event will cure the problems we face.

The government shuffles people like her around because the system is set up in such a way that she cannot be fired. If they even try, she will start filing racial grievance actions against them and they will be the ones to lose their jobs. It’s been this way for decades. I saw it way back in 1981 when walking through a secretarial pool at the State Department - dozens of black women sitting at their desks watching soap operas on small televisions. (This was long before internet streaming.) No one was working and when I asked my guide about it he said that they could not be forced to even type up a letter and that they could not be fired - all due to affirmative action. I’m beginning to agree with poster #2 on that extinction event.

This lady has had some training in propaganda. When you are trying to convince people of something, you use the opposite position to deflect. You don't see white people finding racists in their midst but every bit of preaching about racism on TV and social media is being spewed by blacks. They are not identifying racism they are creating racism. Before Lord Obola came on the scene, there was very little racism anywhere.

#1, you’re absolutely right. I worked for the government for 30 years and saw incompetence be promoted, just to move them to another area. I’ve seen people get relocated when they should have been fired. Unfortunately, getting fired from government positions is next to impossible. And that simply breeds incompetence.

First, she is not atypical in DoDDS; however, thankfully from my experience there are enough highly competent sane teachers teaching the children of our military personnel stationed around the world. Second, as an example of her ilk I once heard a black teacher in a DoDDS high school say it was impossible for white teachers to teach black children because they haven't lived the "black experience" so black children go uneducated. She knew she was stirring the pot and did it with malice aforethought. She could have cared less about military dependents education. Her mission was to create turmoil in the school. Fortunately at the time she only made herself look like the fool she was. Graduates of DoDDS schools all over the world have gone on to successful careers and contributed much to society. It's useful idiots like her that give the rest of the teachers undeserved reputations. Yes, I was a DoDDS teacher.

It was in the 1990's when the ADL did a survey of antisemitism in the US broken down by race. They found way under 1% of whites expressed antisemitism. But they found that 50% of blacks were strongly antisemitic. 25% of blacks were somewhat antisemitic. The remaining 25% were not antisemitic. Note: I'm pretty sure the survey was by the ADL in the late 90's. It was in that news paper by David Horowitz.

I get that it's likely difficult to fire incompetent individuals once they have a government job, but do they need to be promoted or reassigned to a position where they'd continue being a problem? Why can't they create a department of do nothing where they sit without anything to do, and that job pays the minimum scale wages too? On the other hand, this person seems to have learned her thoughts and comments. She might have created a hostile work environment for those people she was referring to in her comments.

In 2019, Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman admitted while being questioned by the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday that he had leaked information to an anti-Trump whistleblower at the center of the Democrats’ partisan impeachment proceedings of President Donald Trump. Vindman attempted to provide talking points to Trump prior to his “infamous” Ukraine phone call and then leaked a mischaracterization of the call afterward. Vindman was directly confronted by California Rep. Devin Nunes. Nunes asked: “Lieutenant Colonel Vindman, did you discuss the July 25 phone call with anyone outside the White House on July 25 or the 26, and if so, with whom?” “Yes. I did,” Vindman responded.

The Czech novelist Milan Kundera published The Joke, his first novel, in 1967. It traces the fortunes of Ludvik, a young student, after his politically correct girlfriend shows the Communist authorities a postcard he had written to her as a joke: “Optimism is the opium of the people! A healthy atmosphere stinks of stupidity! Long live Trotsky! Ludvik.” As a result of this whimsy, Ludvik finds himself expelled from the Communist Party, the university, and is eventually conscripted to work in the mines. That’s the way things are in totalitarian societies. No jokes allowed, especially not jokes told at the expense of the regime.
