How do we know when Joe Biden is lying? When he says he gives us his word as a Biden. But that’s not the only time he spins a whopper. He says something untrue quite regularly, the most recent instance a tall tale about his “epiphany” regarding gay marriage.
When asked about his “evolution on marriage equality” during an interview on Monday night’s “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, Biden radically revised his personal history so that he would appear to have been woke for more than a half century. Our president (how did such a thing ever happen?) said
"Inflation eased again.” “CPI inflation rate slows to 6%.” “Inflation fell for the eighth straight month in February.” Those are the headlines that greeted the latest Consumer Price Index Report. Why aren’t those ungrateful families celebrating?
Prices in February climbed 0.4% from the month before and 6% from the year before. Both are down slightly from January.
President Joe Biden cheered the news, saying that “today’s report shows annual inflation is down by a third from this summer” and is “the slowest annual increase since September 2021.”
Huzzah!

Whenever a disaster strikes, you can bet that a story will soon appear blaming “deregulation.” So it was in the immediate aftermath of the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. And so it is now with the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank.

The headline the White House wants everyone to write would say that President Joe Biden’s budget plan will cut projected deficits by $2.9 trillion. That number isn’t impressive at all, given the context. Worse is the way he gets there.
Start with the fact that the $2.9 trillion amounts to just a haircut in the projected $20 trillion deficits over the next decade, deficits that Biden and his fellow Democrats vastly inflated with their two-year spending spree. The chart below shows how little difference Biden’s budget would make.

Federal Agency Comes Closer to Gas Stove Ban

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has made a formal request for information about the possible health hazards of gas-powered stoves—another signal that the United States may be moving towards a ban on those appliances under the Biden administration.
“This RFI does not constitute or propose regulatory action, but rather is intended to inform the Commission and the public,” the request states.
The request can be viewed here. It has already received hundreds of comments. The comment period ends May 8.

Former President Donald Trump will surrender to face criminal charges if indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, his lawyer said Friday evening.

The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement and related causes received an astonishing $82.9 billion from corporations, a new funding database from the Claremont Institute has found.
The Claremont Institute’s Center for the American Way of Life explained the necessity of their report in an article published in Newsweek, where the Center asserted that the 2020 BLM movement was about more than just “rioting and destruction.”
The Center explained that “The BLM pressure campaigns, harassment, and moral blackmail also amounted to possibly the most lucrative shakedown of corporate America in its history.”
