Furious Tennessee residents have been blanketed by black 'whiskey fungus' after Jack Daniel's failed to stop emissions leaking from its barrel houses. The mold is fueled by ethanol vapor releasing into the air, leading nearby properties, road signs and vehicles to be routinely covered in the sooty smog. DailyMail.com visited the scene to find the fungus has wreaked havoc on the small town of Lynchburg, which is under the shadow of the booze giant's iconic distillery. Many are also questioning whether the fungus is impacting their health and destroying the surrounding air quality,

It sounds as if the fungus is confined to an area within a one-mile radius of the barrel houses. Jack Daniels has greatly expanded in the last ten years or so, and they have a higher number of barrel houses. I suspect this is much ado about nothing. JD brings a boatload of money into Tennessee. Each barrel house represents about 13 million bucks to the Feds in tax revenue. I toured the place a couple of years ago, and nobody in Lynchburg mentioned any problems.

At what point with the enviromental groups be up in arms over this? Bardstown, KY (The bourbon capitol of the world) is a black mess! The distilliers pay a massive amount in taxes, yet not a nickel is used to install equipment to rectify this problem. Maybe the alcohol vapors needs to be labeled "GREENHOUSE GASES".......that may get some movement

New emails uncovered by House Republicans probing the COVID-19 pandemic reveal the deceptive nature of Dr. Anthony Fauci. They show he “prompted” or commissioned — and had final approval on — a scientific paper written specifically in February 2020 to disprove the theory that the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. Eight weeks later, Fauci stood at a White House press conference alongside President Trump and cited that paper as evidence that the lab leak theory was implausible while pretending it had nothing to do with him and he did not know the authors.

Mike Pompeo is openly casting doubt on the conservative bonafides of his one-time boss, former President Donald Trump, ahead of a potential face-off in 2024. During an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Pompeo talked about how a conservative president is needed to tackle the nation’s budget deficit and debt after years of neglect, including during the Trump administration. Anchor Shannon Bream then asked Pompeo if he was saying Trump was not a “true conservative leader,” using her guest’s words to describe the kind of president he argued is necessary to attain fiscal responsibility.

Mr. Trump’s third quest for the presidency is testing whether the adulation of his supporters extends to a broader audience or whether it has siloed them off from the majority of voters, who might not be able to stomach the idea of another Trump presidency.

Joe Biden will almost certainly not attend the coronation of King Charles III. The official reason is that he is making a trip to Ireland that simply can’t be canceled. The media have focused on two reasons he won’t be there: (1) Eisenhower didn’t attend so there’s no tradition for presidents to attend, and (2) Biden hates the British. I think there are two more likely reasons: (1) Charles III’s coronation is an event without cachet, and (2) it’s impossible for Biden to withstand the rigors of the long coronation ceremony and any pre- and post-ceremony events. Indeed, my money is on the last reason being the real reason.
