Alex Murdaugh shaves head for new mugshot

Convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh shaved his head for his newest mugshot, hours after he was handed two consecutive life sentences for killing his wife and son. The disgraced former lawyer, who kept his distinctive red hair for most of his murder trial, stares coldly ahead while wearing a yellow jumpsuit in the latest mugshot, snapped after he was booked Friday at South Carolina’s Kirkland Reception and Evaluation Center. He will remain in a single cell for the next 45 days at the Columbia facility — which is a maximum-security, level-three prison for male offenders, Fox News reported.

For the record, I don't think his head was shaved voluntarily (what a stupid headline). I can only guess that his opiod addiction fueled this. He even had a $4 million insurance policy on his housekeeper which he did not share with her family when she died. Guess we'll have to wait for the tv movie for the answers.

No motive was offered by the prosecution. He was found to have embezzled funds from clients and his law firm and was confronted by the facts on the day he killed his wife and son.

Would this whole affair even have made the news if it was not for the Net Flicks program making it a public, and the court proceedings being allowed to be televised? I think not. Fox spending hours broadcasting this thing was an attempt to gain ratings and nothing more. I don't know anyone who knew about this until Fox started broadcasting the court proceedings.

I watched a lot of the trial because I want to try to figure out what causes a person to become a psychopath. Also, this rich, entitled Democrat thought he was smarter and better than anyone else, so I prayed the jury would give him what he deserved. He might even have had something to do with the housekeeper’s death. I believe she suffered a “fall” in his home.

Dr. Anthony Fauci commissioned a February 2020 paper to disprove the possibility that COVID originated in a lab — only to pretend he was not involved in the study at a White House news conference weeks later. Newly-released emails uncovered by House Republicans probing the COVID-19 pandemic show the former head of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases both commissioned and had final approval on a scientific paper which claimed it was 'improbable' that the virus leaked out of a lab in Wuhan, China. Just a few weeks later, he stood next to then-President Donald Trump at a press conference

The long-established, once viewed as credible journalism CBS News program, 60 Minutes, attempted to clear the air about the origins of COVID-19 after a year of declaring the lab-leak theory "debunked." After FBI Director Christopher Wray agreed with the bombshell report by the Washington Street Journal, revealing that the United States Department of Energy concluded that COVID "most likely arose from a laboratory leak," 60 Minutes is walking back their previous comments about the matter. In May 2020, CBS News's Scott Pelley cast significant doubt over the Trump Administration's assertions that the virus was leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China saying,

"A sad soul can kill you quicker, far quicker, than a germ," John Steinbeck tenderly wrote. To look around America today is to see the painful proof of this truth. COVID and other pathogens have nothing on the deleterious effects of hopelessness and despair. When people give up on themselves, their towns, and their futures, they look as if they're treading water against the current, seeking any reason just to stop kicking and sink. I don't know if there's a politician in Washington who actually knows what ails America. If there are any, I'm not sure they even care.

New emails uncovered by House Republicans probing the COVID-19 pandemic reveal the deceptive nature of Dr. Anthony Fauci. They show he “prompted” or commissioned — and had final approval on — a scientific paper written specifically in February 2020 to disprove the theory that the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. Eight weeks later, Fauci stood at a White House press conference alongside President Trump and cited that paper as evidence that the lab leak theory was implausible while pretending it had nothing to do with him and he did not know the authors.

Joe Biden will almost certainly not attend the coronation of King Charles III. The official reason is that he is making a trip to Ireland that simply can’t be canceled. The media have focused on two reasons he won’t be there: (1) Eisenhower didn’t attend so there’s no tradition for presidents to attend, and (2) Biden hates the British. I think there are two more likely reasons: (1) Charles III’s coronation is an event without cachet, and (2) it’s impossible for Biden to withstand the rigors of the long coronation ceremony and any pre- and post-ceremony events. Indeed, my money is on the last reason being the real reason.
