NY Times Already Busy Repackaging Biden

If Joe Biden is truly running for re-election, then his flying monkeys in the mainstream media are going to have to work even harder than they did in 2020 to create a fictional version of him that appeals to voters. Working in conjunction with the Democratic National Committee, legacy media propagandists worked to fashion out of whole cloth a Joe Biden who didn’t exist. They weren’t evoking a Biden from a bygone era either — the guy they presented to the American public in 2019-20 never existed. Fake 2020 Joe Biden was a thoughtful man who used his moderate political stances to bring people together.

There aren't too many working class people who only spend time at work for two half-days a week. As for being thoughtful, you must have something with which to think. The NYT is setting themselves up for greater failure.

A private school in Pennsylvania is employing a “sexuality curriculum” that includes graphic images and video of genitals and sexual acts. Teacher Al Vernacchio is an English teacher at Friends’ Central School in Wynnewood, PA. He also coordinates programs and assemblies centered on sexuality. The content goes far beyond the biological aspects of sexual education. Vernacchio says children are inherently sexual beings and he thinks sex education classes should be “transformative.” [Video] In an article for Philadelphia Magazine in 2018, Vernacchio told a reporter he fears easy access to pornography has perverted views of sex for many teens. Last month, I wrote about how House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced he was open to releasing all the security footage from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, all 14,000 hours of it, which Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) never wanted to release in the presentation of their political narrative during their witch hunt Jan. 6 Committee proceedings. Now, the reports are that he’s made good on that and released 14,000 hours to Tucker Carlson and his crew, that they’re reviewing it, and that there may be even more footage. Carlson said there was never any valid reason to withhold this footage and that it would begin airing in the coming weeks.

The environmental disaster in East Palestine, Ohio, was bizarrely ignored by the Biden administration for weeks. Gov. Mike DeWine reportedly had repeatedly requested assistance from FEMA, but those requests were denied. However, on Friday, Donald Trump announced his intention to visit East Palestine the following week, and within two hours, it was announced that FEMA would, in fact, come to assist the people of East Palestine. “FEMA and the State of Ohio have been in constant contact regarding emergency operations in East Palestine. U.S. EPA and Ohio EPA have been working together since day one,” Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and FEMA regional administrator Thomas Sivak said in a joint statement.

Two years ago today, Feb. 17, Rush Limbaugh passed away. It is undeniable that he left a gaping hole that no one else can fill; he invented a new kind of conservative media, and he certainly did it best. Rush Limbaugh had a genius for talk radio, and part of that genius was that many people who never even met him felt that when he died, they lost a friend. But I think the best way to remember Limbaugh is by letting him speak for himself, so I want to share a few of the most memorable quotes from the “Mayor of Realville,”

One of the most diabolically clever notions the Left has ever devised in order to advance its Marxist agenda has been “systemic racism.” Systemic racism is everywhere and nowhere, requires no evidence of actual discrimination in order to make its case, and will result, if followed to its logical conclusion, in the implementation of an unlimited number of wealth confiscation and redistribution schemes. It’s so useful that “experts” keep finding it in more and more places, and absurdity is no bar for how low they will go. Their audience, after all, is Leftists, who are already accustomed to swallowing absurd claims on an industrial scale.

If you’re going to continue reading, consider yourself forewarned: It gets far crazier than the headline suggests. Let’s begin with the left’s latest insane notion: restoring sight to the blind is yet another example of ableism — the discrimination of and social prejudice against people with disabilities based on the belief that typical abilities are superior — and moreover, disabilities “need no cure.” See what I mean? As RedState reported earlier this month, Jimmy Donaldson, more popularly known as “MrBeast,” posted a video to his YouTube channel about how he helped “cure” the blindness of 1,000 people by providing them with free cataract surgery. Donaldson was promptly both praised and skewered,

It goes without saying that voter fraud is nothing new. Think Tammany Hall and Chicago’s “city bosses,” including Cook County in the 1960 presidential election. Or read “Means of Ascent,” Robert Caro’s masterful account of “landslide” Lyndon’s shenanigans at the ballot box during his 1948 Senate run-off in Texas. And who can forget (except the media) the more recent FBI investigation into the corrupt “community organization” ACORN that resulted in the arrests of eight workers in St. Louis for a host of election law violations? Pretending voter fraud doesn’t exist is political strategy, not reality. That’s why partisans screaming the loudest at so-called “election deniers”

The White House said Wednesday it moved one step closer to meeting its offshore wind energy goals by announcing the first lease sale for developments in the Gulf of Mexico. President Joe Biden set a goal of having 30 gigawatts of offshore wind installed by 2030, with another 15 GW coming from floating turbine installations by 2035. To reach that goal, the administration said it opened its first lease sale for offshore wind in the Gulf of Mexico. Three lease areas off Texas and Louisiana could support the development of enough wind energy to meet the demands of nearly 1.3 million average households, the White House in a fact sheet.

The Ukrainians have not only held their own, but have managed to liberate a good chunk of their conquered territory. They’ve been buoyed tremendously by a constant influx of Western military aid. I argue here, against a small but vocal conservative faction, that we should continue this aid. There has been plenty of unhelpful hyperbole on both sides of the debate. Prominent pro-Ukrainers have attempted to equate opposition to Ukrainian aid as opposition to democracy itself. Michael Beschloss, NBC’s resident Rent-A-Zinn, referencing members of Congress who didn’t applaud Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent speech, and in Stalinist fashion, tweeted “we need to know from them exactly why.”

Nonprofit research organization Wirepoint has looked into Illinois public schools, and their performance deserves less than an “A+.” Among more than 30 institutions of learning, zero students can read at their respective grade levels. As for math, across 53 schools, no students are proficient. The bulk of those underperforming campuses — twenty-two in the case of reading and thirty-three in the case of math — sit within the City of Chicago School District — where taxpayers annually spend between $5,929 and $56,311 per student.

Xylazine — otherwise known as “tranq,” “tranq dope” and “zombie drug” — is wreaking havoc in major cities across the country with its devastating effects: It can literally rot the user’s skin. The substance, which seemed to first appear in Philadelphia before migrating west to San Francisco and Los Angeles, was used for cutting heroin, but, most recently, it has been discovered in fentanyl and other illicit drugs. While approved by the Food and Drug Administration for veterinary use, xylazine, a non-opioid, is not safe for humans,

Ukraine's insistence on reasserting control over the annexed Crimean Peninsula is controversial for United States citizens, exclusive polling for Newsweek has revealed. Throughout the past year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly committed to "liberating" Crimea from Russian control. The peninsula was illegally annexed by Moscow back in 2014. "Crimea is our land, our territory," Zelensky said in January. "It is our sea and our mountains. Give us your weapons—we will return what is ours." These governments believed it was important to report on successes and failures of pandemic decisions because it was the public that was on the receiving end of policies such as closed schools, vaccine mandates, and shuttered businesses. The United States is notably absent from this list, despite a long history of setting up bipartisan commissions after national crises in order to avoid repeating mistakes. Since 1989, when the current iteration of bipartisan commissions essentially came into being, Congress has funded 170 commissions to
