When Ohio Senator JD Vance was briefing the press earlier today, he was asked about East Palestine residents being required to sign indemnity waivers, releasing Norfolk Southern Railway from legal liability, as a requirement of having their water/air tests conducted on their property. Senator Vance said he talked to a resident about it, then reviewed the contract and confirmed the indemnity demand. Vance then immediately called Norfolk Southern Railroad officials and asked them about it. According to Vance, the response from Norfolk Southern Railway was that the liability waiver was accidentally presented. WATCH (@24:54 Prompted):

So we’re to believe Norfolk Southern had their legal department draw up these papers and sent the legal representatives to East Palestine, Ohio, and go to these homes and seek signatures before testing their water and air was an accident? Boy, do they think we’re stupid. Same speech writers as Joe.

No, I do not believe that Norfolk Southern accidentally had people sign waivers by accident. I have had some business dealings with them and they are @#&$%…§[]{. Xxxholes to deal with. Arrogant and demanding everything be done their way and even if not necessary. Nuff said!

Could Southern Railroad be anymore despicable? After the damage they have caused to try to slither out of paying damages by scamming these innocent victims should lead to jail time for these bottom dwelling attorneys who don’t care one whit about anybody. This is outrageous.

Accidentally? My hind end. The NSRR legal department knew what they were doing. What the NSRR did is coercive. Bottom line - neither the Federal nor Ohio governments GAF about the lives and property ruined in East Palestine Ohio. Joey Baby has turned down Dim DeWine's request for Federal assistance. Butt Pete is counting minority construction workers. The citizens of East Palestine are screwed royally.

People in government and at NSRR seriously need to fry, and I'm not talking about a low level brakeman they throw to the wolves. Make a list of everyone who should've been dealing with this from the jump in a serious and thoughtful way but didn't...and give them the ac or put them up against a wall! Roseanne put it very succinctly on Gutfeld the other night... They're trying to kill us!

Well of course, the wind 'accidentally' blew the papers and a pen onto the desks of the residents...accidents happen all the time, except when they aren't accidents, but planned to do some azzz covering for the railroad...

Isn't that some type of fraud when you are asked to sign something when under duress? And how often do we sign papers without even reading what we sign? Always read it before you sign it - whatever it is.

An Oklahoma judge ruled on Thursday that a baby created for a lesbian couple using purchased sperm belongs with his biological mother and father, not his mom’s female ex. Kris Williams argued that because she helped raise the toddler with her now ex-wife Rebekah Wilson and since she is listed on his birth certificate, she deserves full parental rights. Oklahoma County District Judge Lynne McGuire rejected that claim and said that Oklahoma law detailing parentage trumps the state’s legalization of same-sex marriage. “[The act] does not take into account same-sex marriage, and there is no presumption that the wife of the mother is automatically presumed the parent of a child born during

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday canceled scheduled arguments in a case in which Republicans sought to keep in place a policy introduced under former President Donald Trump that has let American officials quickly expel hundreds of thousands of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border. The policy, known as Title 42, (snip) a measure tied to a public health emergency. The justices removed it from their argument calendar after the Justice Department told them on Feb. 7 the case would become moot because Title 42 will expire in light of an announcement by President Joe Biden's administration that the recognition of a COVID-19 public health emergency will end effective May 11.

New medical diagnosis codes for COVID-19 immunization status have been added in the United States. One code is for being “unvaccinated for COVID-19.” That code “may be assigned when the patient has not received at least one dose of any COVID-19 vaccine,” the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which implemented the new codes in 2022, states in a document outlining the codes. Another code is for being partially vaccinated or having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine but not having received enough doses to meet the CDC’s definition of fully vaccinated. For much of 2017 through 2021, Americans suffered the “bombshell” and “walls are closing” mythologies first of Russian collusion, then of supposedly vast Russian social media investments to sabotage the election. From there we moved on to the Alfa Bank (snip) the supposed Putin bounties on U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan that Trump was said to have ignored and, of course, the idea that Hunter’s laptop was just “Russian disinformation.” These were journalistic sins of commission, warping the news cycle to advance ideological agendas and win elections. On February 9, New Jersey Italian restaurant Nettie’s House of Spaghetti, despite having a name that makes it sound like a children’s restaurant, issued a statement across its social media accounts that beginning in early March, they would no longer allow children under 10 to dine at the restaurant. The announcement made headlines and points to the perennial debate over whether banning kids under a certain age from eating at restaurants is reasonable. This debate is, of course, not new. There will always be a steady stream of new children coming to restaurants with their parents, and some of those children will act in accordance with their developmental tendencies.
