Worthless Transportation Secretary “Pothole” Pete Buttigieg is nothing if he is not the most elusive, grossly incompetent, cartoonish, inert figure in the Biden administration. WHEN and IF he moves to address an issue, he does so at the speed of tar pitch on a slight incline. He held true to form when the unfortunate residents of East Palestine, Ohio were treated to the big badda boom no one should ever have to worry about.

Is it just me, or does this country's current state of affairs (infrastructure, economy, science, etc.) resemble the opening chapters of Rand's "Atlas Shrugged"? I always considered it fiction, but the Left saw it as a polemic on the path forward... greyseal

Biden administration just denied disaster assistance to Ohio residents! This is absolutely cruel and vindictive because they have criticized the response. There is one simple reason, there are too many white people in this area and they must have looked to see that the area voted for Trump in 2020.

Pete Butt would rather stay home so he can whisper in his mate's ears and groom their 'children'. He is clearly not paying attention to his work. Usually, that gets one fired, but Pete Butt is 'special'.

#3 - I tend to agree. I have read that book twice and it seems that the number of competent people in our country is dwindling down to minuscule numbers, coupled with a government that wants to run everything. The author meant it to be fiction, but based upon her experiences in her country of birth. A kind of prophetic novel.

When lots and lots and lots of important jobs are filled, not by the most capable or the most competent people, and are, instead, filled by politician's relatives or racial minorities or sexual deviants who are now favored and given special advancement, regardless of competence.....lots of "accidents" happen. We used to have a hard nosed meritocracy in America. THAT was our "special sauce" that set us aside from most other countries. No more. Airline pilots used to be rigorously selected and relentlessly tested, and any found wanting were gone. But today, pilots are selected for skin color, sex or other things besides skills at flying an aircraft in an emergency. And when these less-than-excellent pilots make mistakes....the AIRCRAFT is often blamed - it wasn't "helpful enough", "needs more automation". Spare us from automation, it never fully understands emergencies - blind machines are not the answer. Already many crashes in Airbus aircraft have come because the extremely complex and overly powerful "autopilot" was in a mode that the poor "pilot" didn't actually understand fully and the aircraft was doing it's best to "follow it's programming" which -- wasn't unfortunately exactly applicable to this particular situation, but it was a machine, and the person in the pilot's seat didn't understand what the machine was doing, and couldn't stop it. Highly competent people have always been in short supply. Airline pilots are just one example of where our affirmative action and "diversity" bureaucracy is putting less than best capability people where their failures will result in mass deaths. Like train derailments and their cleanup, perhaps? Victor Davis Hansen had wrote an essay on this topic of meritocracy, released yesterday. If you didn't read it ....here is the link. https://dailycaller.com/2023/02/16/victor-davis-hanson-destroying-meritocracy-is-deadly/

"the most elusive, grossly incompetent, cartoonish, inert figure in the Biden administration." My, that's quite a distinction, considering the competition from every member of this administration, in every important position, from the top down. Are there ANY competent, non-Pervert people in this crew? Just wondering.

Who would have thought the mediocre mayor of Indiana’s fourth-largest city would not be a good choice to run the Department of Transportation? Pete Buttigieg launched a failed campaign for president of the United States at the age of 37 after serving two terms as mayor of South Bend, the fourth-largest city in Indiana. He was adored by journalists and other out-of-touch white Democrats due to his youthful nerdy gayness and Obama-esque ability to regurgitate platitudes.

On Monday, I dropped a report that revealed the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s embarrassing scandal surrounding its former star counterintelligence agent Charles McGonigal, who’s been indicted on corruption-related federal charges, is much worse than the Department of Justice and the media have admitted. While McGonigal was still serving as a senior FBI official in 2017 he became a partner of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and his ruling Socialist Party. In that capacity, McGonigal is believed to have extorted wealthy Albanians in a sort of protection racket where the bureau bigwig promised to protect the oligarchs from U.S. sanctions in exchange for big bribes.

We were told there were 14,000 hours of surveillance video, but now it appears there are roughly 41,000 hours of tape. Tucker has long questioned whether J6 was an actual insurrection. The FBI stated in August 2021 they found little evidence that the crowd tried to topple the United States. A Harvard University survey released in August 2022 said the same thing. Democrats have fought to keep the tapes under wraps. That is understandable, as it’s hard to cry “insurrection” when looking at videos

The long-range missiles matter. So do the super-accurate artillery shells, the surface-to-air missiles, and the winter weather gear; the training in the English countryside or the muddy Grafenwöhr maneuver grounds; and the intelligence provided from the eyes in space and the ears on airplanes that circle outside the battlezone. President Biden’s visit to Kyiv matters just as much as any of these. Other heads of government preceded him, earning deserved credit. But it is an altogether different thing when the president of the United States—who is, indeed, the leader of the Free World—shows up. His words mattered.
