Fox News host Greg Gutfeld will star in his own Super Bowl commercial on Sunday as the network promotes its late-night TV “king” to a large national audience. Gutfeld’s eponymous 11 p.m. ET show has been trouncing the woke network competition at ABC, CBS and NBC. Now, the co-host of “The Five” and “Gutfeld!” will see himself as TV royalty in a commercial that has already been released online, but is set to air on Sunday. In the 15-second ad, which features frequent “Gutfeld!” guests Kat Timpf and Tyrus, the host takes a throne to be anointed the “new king of late night”

I stopped watching late night network TV after Johnny Carson retired. Leno was good, but not as good or funny as Carson. Nowadays schlubs rule late night, or did until Gutfeld. The only network TV I watch is football and other sports like the Masters and Kentucky Derby etc. I'd rather watch an old Bette Davis on movie on Prime or Netflex that see and hear emoting actors talk dirty in prime time series. I'm also tired of seeing 90% of advertisements featuring people that constitute 13% of the population. British television is much better. You can get it on something called 'Brit Box.'

#1 makes a good point - there's always someone among the guests to catalyze the humor. And even if you don't like Gutfeld, it's worth watching just to catch Tom Shillue's absolutely brilliant impersonation of our naive and confused President. The one about the documents in the garage (paraphrasing) - "you open the garage door with a button in the Corvette, and since Corvette's in the garage no one can get to the button to open the door, so the documents were always safe." Too funny.

Hey, this might just win best Super Bowl ad. Problem with most Super Bowl ads is that the advertiser and creative team think they are writing and producing the greatest film ever. They need to remember they're pitching a product.

SpaceX successfully launched its tenth mission of the year on Sunday by blasting 55 Starlink internet satellites into space aboard its Falcon 9 rocket. The launch took place just after midnight with cameras capturing the spectacular moment as the rocket appeared to traverse the moon. The first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket landed on the SpaceX droneship out in the Atlantic, positioned a few hundred miles off the Florida coast. Falcon 9 is the safest and most experienced active American rocket and the only one currently certified for transporting humans to the International Space Station.

President Biden will be traveling to Poland at the end of the month to mark the one-year mark of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the White House announced on Friday. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the president would be visiting the NATO ally from Feb. 20 to Feb. 22. The White House did not say whether Biden would at some point travel to Ukraine. “He will meet with President Duda of Poland to discuss our bilateral cooperation as well as our collective efforts to support Ukraine and bolster NATO’s deterrence,” Jean-Pierre said. She added that the president would “deliver remarks ahead of the one-year mark of the Russian invasion of Ukraine,

If you’ve ever wondered why you can’t find common factual ground with liberal friends, the reason may be that not only have private outfits worked successfully to censor news, but that government agencies as well, from the CDC to the CIA, have successfully censored it by proxy. It’s not just the major media that have been corrupted by the government (acting as megaphones for government agencies and so fearful of offending their sources that they help them cover up wrongdoing), but the new media, which we had supposed would allow alternative sources of information to become more widely available, is severely compromised.

With China’s spy balloon crossing the American heartland unmolested and GOP leaders simultaneously starting probes of his family’s corruption, Joe Biden is entering a new phase of his presidency. The worst case scenario is that all his chickens are coming home to roost.  The spy balloon’s appearance and that of two additional objects shot down by the military oddly highlight the importance of the House probes. The possibility that Biden has been compromised by profiting from son Hunter’s lucrative foreign entanglements, especially with China, is drawing extra attention to how the president reacts to the Communist regime’s aggressive surveillance.  So far, his weak-tea response is raising even more suspicions.

Matt Rosendale, a Republican elected in 2020, said he had been briefed by the Department of Defense, while he was at a Lincoln Reagan dinner.  Fighter jets were scrambled and airspace above Havre, a town of 10,000 people, 30 miles south of the Canadian border, was shut at 7:50pm before being reopened about 50 minutes later.

President Joe Biden will engage in the traditional pregame Super Bowl interview this year, though with an obscure network and amid confusion, again raising questions about his availability and transparency. This year's big game will air on Fox, which is well known for its conservative Fox News wing, and there were conflicting reports with the network and the White House saying the other had not agreed to an interview. Finally, news emerged that Biden would in fact be doing an interview with the black audience-focused Fox Soul.

Leaders in multiple states and cities are embracing efforts to bar police from pulling drivers over for certain less-severe traffic violations, a move that some experts believe endangers public safety. Lawmakers in Washington state are pushing a plan that would forbid police traffic stops conducted to address some lower-level traffic lawbreaking, and Oregon has already established a similar policy, while San Francisco is considering a city-wide plan of this kind after Los Angeles and Minneapolis instituted their own. Such restrictions could effectively impede enforcement against more serious offenses and put innocent civilians at risk, according to experts who spoke to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

A new government report reveals that the total amount of American soil owned by Chinese investors is nearly twice as large as the entirety of New York City. As the New York Post reports, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) revealed in last month’s report on foreign-held land that Chinese buyers currently own at least 384,235 of American land. By contrast, the full expanse of New York City covers just 193,700 acres. Even Bill Gates’ total land ownership is dwarfed by China’s, with just 270,000 acres. Of all the foreign-owned farmland in the U.S., China owns roughly 0.9 percent, or about $1.2 billion worth of land, according to the USDA report.

New York — The New York City suburbs nearly cost Gov. Kathy Hochul her job. Now, far from treading with caution, she’s pushing a proposal that may be radioactive in the bedroom communities that dot the region: A plan to mandate more housing in those suburban counties, some of the nation’s largest and wealthiest. Hochul wants to give the state bold new authority to override local zoning laws in cases where municipalities resist the measure, which she hopes will help address a housing shortage that’s made New York one of the least affordable places in the country.
