Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today declared he wanted Western allies to send long-range missiles and jets to his war-torn country to help repel Russian troops. 'I've spoken with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today... We must also open deliveries of long-range missiles to Ukraine, it is important - we must expand our cooperation in artillery,' Zelensky said, also adding Ukraine needed jets. 'This is a dream. And this is a task.' Zelensky's latest plea comes just hours after the US and Germany both announced they would send battalions of M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 tanks to bolster the efforts of Ukraine's armed forces to push Vladimir Putin's troops back

Jets and missiles will ultimately require military advisers, i.e. boots on the ground. If Ukraine becomes another Vietnam, we may hear an announcement from the Oval Office much like this one in 1968: "With America's sons in the fields far away, with America's future under challenge right here at home, with our hopes and the world's hopes for peace in the balance every day, I do not believe that I should devote an hour or a day of my time to any personal partisan causes or to any duties other than the awesome duties of this office — the presidency of this country, Accordingly, I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your president." Biden is old enough to remember hearing it live.

They were flipping everything we sent to their favorite contractors for hefty KICKBACKS and living a life of extreme luxury while the citizens were starving and dying. STOP the scam! Btw, Zelensky is the worst. Those criminals who resigned were mostly hired by the Z. And also, the Ukraine government is the MOST CORRUPT in the European nation next to Russia! Keep sending them money and weapons, they'll win the war on corruption against Russia.

Being an old guy, every time I learn that Zelensky demands for more and more US money and military equipment (cash is preferred), I remember when the Chinese Nationalists were moving from communistic-controlled Chinese mainland, and their leader, Chiang Kai-shek kept begging President Truman for aid. Truman became so annoyed by this that he publicly stated that Chiang Kai-shek should change his name to Cash My Check. Some things never change. I wish the Ukrainians well in their war, but it sure looks like Zelensky and Biden have been partners in crime for decades. Hunter's laptop seems to point to that criminal connection.

I'm sad to see some of these comments. Yes, Ukraine is a corrupt country, and a few scandals have come up, including the latest food kickback scandal. Like Russia, it has its corrupt oligarchs, too. Still, considering that Ukraine is fighting for its life and weakening Russia has its benefits for the rest of the world, the munitions and weapons Zelensky is asking for isn't unreasonable. Many European countries have spent far more than the US, per capita, and IIRC, the amount the US has spent on Ukraine's defense is about the same we gave to the teachers union to "safely" open the schools for the "covid crisis." HIMARS and 155 GPS rounds did provide Ukraine with a massive boost when they needed it most, but the Russians have adapted to it by moving HQ and ammo depots further back, out of range, and of course, they drafted 200K more troops to the front (with more to come). The answer to this is long range weapons and fighter jets to strike the Russians anywhere in Ukraine, and heavy tanks and APC's to launch an offensive.

Most of congress and the Resident of the WH have serious financial interests in Ukraine #1. That is all this is, defending their ATM from destruction, not to mention exposure of all their high level dirty laundry. If I were them, I would be more worried about what Putin knows about their corruption, and how much damage he could do. He doesn't need to drop a real nuke, just drop a whole bucket of damaging information. That would destroy most of congress just as badly.

The release of the videos from the lethal arrest of Tyre Nichols, 29, is shocking for its lack of professional tactics and procedures. This looks like adrenaline-filled rage … from the officers. At certain points, it is the suspect who sounds to be trying to de-escalate the situation. It is unfortunately not unique. In physical encounters, officers can escalate violence and lose control with lethal consequences. The footage helps establish a number of legal points. The force is clearly and undeniably excessive. It was a complete breakdown of training and supervision. It is hard to look at this tape objectively and analytically given the emotional impact of the scene. Yet

After he named former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, former Secretary of State and former CIA director Mike Pompeo, and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Haley paused and then said with a smile, “Most of them are my friends. … Let the best woman win.” It was a clever line, but does it hint at
