Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today declared he wanted Western allies to send long-range missiles and jets to his war-torn country to help repel Russian troops.
'I've spoken with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today... We must also open deliveries of long-range missiles to Ukraine, it is important - we must expand our cooperation in artillery,' Zelensky said, also adding Ukraine needed jets.
'This is a dream. And this is a task.'
Zelensky's latest plea comes just hours after the US and Germany both announced they would send battalions of M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 tanks to bolster the efforts of Ukraine's armed forces to push Vladimir Putin's troops back

Where is all the money that has been sent to zelensky. Why does he beg. He should have enough money to buy himself a fully armed ARMY! Puty must be winning!
This water would end in two seconds. If Biden and zelensky were impeached.

Jets and missiles will ultimately require military advisers, i.e. boots on the ground. If Ukraine becomes another Vietnam, we may hear an announcement from the Oval Office much like this one in 1968: "With America's sons in the fields far away, with America's future under challenge right here at home, with our hopes and the world's hopes for peace in the balance every day, I do not believe that I should devote an hour or a day of my time to any personal partisan causes or to any duties other than the awesome duties of this office — the presidency of this country, Accordingly, I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your president." Biden is old enough to remember hearing it live.

No. No. But… Zelenski must have gotten some cash offers for our jets from China or Iran. Then, of course, kickbacks to US politicians. Gotta run a business here. No. Enough.

I'm surprised he hasn't demanded we give troops on the ground and airmen in the skies. How about we put them on our borders instead. If we keep giving our money and equipment away, we'll need them on our border sooner than we already do.

Whats the difference between Russia and Ukraine? Not much. Maybe that Russia doesnt openly celebrate gayness. The government will just have to get its bio-weapons somewhere else. China maybe.

Who will finally say NO to this little dictator? He has absolutely no right to the hard earned wealth of other nations.
He will DEMAND the blood of our soldiers in the not too distant future.
The safety and security of Ukraine is the farthest thing from his mind and the minds of his corrupts and larcenous government. Otherwise they would have acquiesced to a ceasefire and peace talks long ago.

A couple of dozen high officials under this FRAUD resigned recently for corruption. They were flipping everything we sent to their favorite contractors for hefty KICKBACKS and living a life of extreme luxury while the citizens were starving and dying. STOP the scam! Btw, Zelensky is the worst. Those criminals who resigned were mostly hired by the Z. And also, the Ukraine government is the MOST CORRUPT in the European nation next to Russia! Keep sending them money and weapons, they'll win the war on corruption against Russia.

Zelensky is a financial criminal...just like the Bidens. Zelensky shakes down Dem (and RINO) politicians for cash-- then launders some of back to them. There is NO oversight for any of the money and weapons we send to Ukraine. Don't poke the Russian bear. this won't end well, or any time soon.

Being an old guy, every time I learn that Zelensky demands for more and more US money and military equipment (cash is preferred), I remember when the Chinese Nationalists were moving from communistic-controlled Chinese mainland, and their leader, Chiang Kai-shek kept begging President Truman for aid. Truman became so annoyed by this that he publicly stated that Chiang Kai-shek should change his name to Cash My Check. Some things never change.
I wish the Ukrainians well in their war, but it sure looks like Zelensky and Biden have been partners in crime for decades. Hunter's laptop seems to point to that criminal connection.

Go ahead and restart that cold war. The arms manufacturers will love it.
Jets and long-range missiles are OFFENSIVE weapons. Not defensive. Bet they won't be limited to just targets inside Ukraine.
We are ruled by dumb dishonest tyrannical morons.

And our "trainers," too, right? So, basically we are in a war with Russia. At some point Russia is going to declare that, too. Are we ready for that? All so the military-industrial complex can keep the dough rolling in--and all the fat cat politicians can keep getting their cut?

I'm sad to see some of these comments. Yes, Ukraine is a corrupt country, and a few scandals have come up, including the latest food kickback scandal. Like Russia, it has its corrupt oligarchs, too. Still, considering that Ukraine is fighting for its life and weakening Russia has its benefits for the rest of the world, the munitions and weapons Zelensky is asking for isn't unreasonable. Many European countries have spent far more than the US, per capita, and IIRC, the amount the US has spent on Ukraine's defense is about the same we gave to the teachers union to "safely" open the schools for the "covid crisis."
HIMARS and 155 GPS rounds did provide Ukraine with a massive boost when they needed it most, but the Russians have adapted to it by moving HQ and ammo depots further back, out of range, and of course, they drafted 200K more troops to the front (with more to come). The answer to this is long range weapons and fighter jets to strike the Russians anywhere in Ukraine, and heavy tanks and APC's to launch an offensive.

Most of congress and the Resident of the WH have serious financial interests in Ukraine #1. That is all this is, defending their ATM from destruction, not to mention exposure of all their high level dirty laundry.
If I were them, I would be more worried about what Putin knows about their corruption, and how much damage he could do. He doesn't need to drop a real nuke, just drop a whole bucket of damaging information. That would destroy most of congress just as badly.

If it was more lucrative for him to make peace with Putin, then he would. But he knows that the real money is keeping the wet-for-Putin Westies on the hook long enough to get F U money, then blow that Ukrainian popsicle stand for warm water and white sands.

Another war fought with gloves on, that costs billions and enriches the military industrial complex.
