Conservatives on Twitter are up in arms after actor Rob Reiner praised President Biden as a "decent law abiding person" while slamming former President Donald Trump as a "pathologically lying criminal." "The difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is: Joe Biden is a decent law abiding person, and Donald Trump is a pathologically lying criminal," Reiner tweeted Sunday. The star, best recognized for his role as Michael "Meathead" Stivic on the popular 1970s sitcom "All in the Family," has a history of criticizing the former president, labeling him as "mentally unstable" and accusing him of "aiding and abetting the enemy" in a December 2018 tweet.

Dear Meathead Name one crime that Trump has been found guilty of. Name one trial where Donald Trump was found guilty of a crime. I'm pretty sure if all the lefties trying to put him in jail had any crimes and evidence they would be screaming it from the housetops. They've certainly given him enough investigations and each single one of them led them nowhere. The evidence is in the trials and there haven't been any that found him guilty. Some of his executives of some of his business' have broken the law and paid the price, but not one of them led to Trump and a trial. So Shut The F*&k up about criminals. Wonder if you've got a record of criminal convictions, Hollywood has produced more than their fair share of scuzzball's. Always thought that shoe fit you, criminal or not.

Referring to Reiner's 'cognitive dissonance' implies he has a brain (or at least had one). Evidence for which is scant, to say the least. Although he has demonstrated a gift for creating romantic comedy, he seems to have not even an ounce of common sense. And you can probably count the firing synapses in his head on one hand. A hand from which five fingers have been blown off...

Martin Luther King Jr. was more than a great pastor and civil rights leader. He had a deep mind of discernment that focused on timeless truths. The holiday in his commemoration is not only the time to celebrate his depth, character, and accomplishments, but it is also an occasion to reflect on the conditioning and brainwashing that characterize today’s leftist identity politics, which seeks to normalize the legitimacy of divisive and demoralizing ideologies King fought against. In contrast, King was all about constructive action directed at racial and social healing through truth, love, and peaceful nonviolent debate and protest.
Biden uses his lawyers to find his classified

The discovery of a fourth set of classified documents, at the Biden residence in Delaware, has further undermined the White House’s virtual mantra that the president “takes classified documents very seriously.” Putting aside the repeated movement of highly classified documents over six years, one curious element has emerged in this scandal: the use of private counsel. Not only did President Joe Biden enlist lawyers to clear out his private Washington office; he then used them — rather than security officers or the FBI — to search for additional classified documents. The initial use of lawyers is notable.

Senate Democrats are preparing to play defense in 2024 as they look to preserve their narrow majority in the upper chamber. The party is defending more than twice as many seats as Republicans, and it’s already facing the possibility that some of its incumbents could retire, leaving open competitive seats. There are also few opportunities for Democrats to go on the offensive. Their best targets appear to be Florida and Texas, but both states have proved elusive for Democrats in recent years. Here are eight Senate seats most likely to flip in 2024:

Sergey Surovikin has been removed as head of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine and replaced by Valery Gerasimov. Is there a power struggle raging in Moscow? General Sergey Surovikin was commander-in-chief of the "special military operation," as Russia still officially calls its war of aggression against Ukraine, for just three months. On Thursday, Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu demoted him to deputy commander. He will now answer to Russia's chief of the general staff, General Valery Gerasimov, who will take over the leadership of Russia's military in Ukraine — nominally, at least.

Special counsel to the president Richard Sauber disclosed in a statement that five additional pages of documents with classified markings were found at Biden's home Thursday evening, making a total of six classified documents retrieved from there. Sauber explained that when Biden's personal attorneys identified one classified document at Biden's home on Wednesday, they "immediately" stopped searching for additional documents because they lacked the security clearances necessary to view those materials.

"Like a car, only better." That slogan for Corvette sold a lot of cars, but, until last week, it was never used with regard to classified documents. The president responded "My Corvette is in a locked garage, OK? So, it’s not like they’re sitting out on the street." According to McCarthy, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., will not be returning to the House Intelligence Committee, while far-left Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., will not be returning to the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The reasons for their removal go back a number of years and involve a wide range of criticisms Republicans had, until now, been unable to act upon because of Democrats' House majority.

First, the discovery. Now, the fallout. Revelations that classified documents going back to President Joe Biden’s years as vice president have been found in his private office in Washington and a garage at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, are threatening to become a political – and possible legal – liability for the president. Biden said he was “surprised” to learn of the discovery of the records. He had branded his predecessor, Donald Trump, as "irresponsible" for storing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. But Biden’s own handling of classified materials is now under scrutiny given the revelations that documents were stored at his private office and garage.

With each gallon of gas pumped in the United States since 1932, drivers have been paying taxes. The revenue is used for road repairs and public transportation such as train and bus systems. Currently, the Fed takes 18.4 cents per gallon for gas or 24.4 cents per gallon for diesel. State gas taxes range from a national high of 61 cents for gas in Pennsylvania, to a low of 8.95 cents in Alaska. But environmentally motivated improvements in fuel efficiency and the move to electric vehicles (EVs) translate to less gas sold, resulting less tax revenue collected. State and federal governments are looking for a new way to fund transportation.
