What Black Americans Need Is to Build

Black voters are getting tired of politics as usual. We need real solutions to pressing problems like income inequality and violent crime, not meaningless posturing and policies designed solely to assuage white guilt. In the 2018 midterm elections, Republicans received just 8 percent of the Black vote, consistent with historical patterns and identical to President Trump's share of the Black vote in both 2016 and 2020. In 2022, however, 14 percent of Black voters cast their ballots for Republican candidates—a 75 percent shift in just two years.

Black people will stay on the Democrat plantation. Once in a while there may be an outlier election where the percentage voting Democrat will drop a few points. But modern fraudulent vote harvesting and counting will cancel out any shift to Republican or independent candidates. Voting for non-Democrat candidates can be likened to a Black person getting an education or speaking clear, un-accented English; considered to be 'acting white' or 'selling out.' MLK is now said to have been a sell out...thought by many activists and BLM types.

Reparations are not the answer either! That capital will be spent in the blink of an eye and within a year or two, those same hands will be outstretched toward the government again. Scammers will fleece that cash ASAP along with purchases of high end autos or homes that will be uninsured and not maintained and in bankruptcy within a few years. President Trump had a plan for all Americans to rise up with pride by improved jobs and other opportunities. Now the Democrats are back to pandering, with promises of up to $3 million dollar payouts to each individual along with debt forgiveness.

Fighting to the death for equality under the law is worthy. Fighting to the death against the totalitarian purveyors of "equity," or state mandated economic leveling, is even more worthy and absolutely essential in a representative democracy, aka republic.

"Black voters are getting tired of politics as usual." Hogwash! If this were true, they wouldn't keep voting for Democrats by 90+%. They will vote for the white Democrat over the black Republican. On most issues, Black Americans are more in agreement with Republican positions. But Republicans are raaaaaaacist.

The Dem/Left has destroyed Black neighborhoods by decrying police agencies from making sure that the laws are enforced. (They are also doing their best to destroy all communities, with their anarchic stupidities.) My prescription is really simple, but not easy, at least to start: get good police presence; make sure children get to and from school safely; make sure the schools are safe, the teachers are safe, the buildings clean. Then make sure that education standards are the same in those schools as everywhere else. Make sure there are technical schools and programs in schools to offer those skills, those very important and necessary skills (we need these everywhere). But safety around and in school, and with better law enforcement (including teaching kids to respect the police) a more peaceful environment will ensue. It may seem an afterthought, but getting enough sleep, an environment less thick with fear and dread, will go a long way to life truly improving, leading to more hope for a better life of work and accomplishment. You cannot expect children to achieve or have hope if drugs and violence permeate their environment. Much more difficult but not impossible, is the rebuilding of the family structure. Stable families are imperative, but teaching moral, ethical, spiritual values won't be easy, if the amoral ethos of the Left cannot be overcome. And one more thought, if the stress levels decline, individuals' health will improve, too. In general, a work ethic will begin to flourish with the benefits of income advancement, feelings of self-worth and happiness. First of all, they've got to stop demonizing law enforcement. There needs to be a sort of "social compact" in the communities. AND, stop electing politicians who have demonstrated their total neglect or demonization of the need for law enforcement, rightly understood.

So let's throw a big party for all 14% of the black vote! Hip, hip, hooray! And how much in reparations do you want for those votes? And in case anyone can't do the math (looking at you, typical urban public school students) that means a mere 86% of the black people who voted supported a democrat. Just rounding up, that's nearly nine out of ten! So yeah, Mr. Typical Black Voter, thanks for everything.

It has to begin at home and then spread to the immediate community. It's fine to throw your air punches at "The Democrats", but that means nothing to them. Demand things of yourself, your spouse, yes, your spouse, and your children. Then you can demand things from others who directly affect those you live with and love.

We know that black children who come from poverty stricken families can succeed even the ones without a father. Look no further than Dr. Ben Carson. His mother could not read but instilled a love of reading and learning into her children. It all begins at home. If parents or even one partner understands that education and personal responsibility is the way out of poverty, their children will have a very good chance of having a productive life. Family is the key. I see too many young parents both black and white who have not grown up themselves. They want to party and are not emotionally ready for parenthood. Children are neglected and doomed to failure. It’s more important to these parents that they personally have the best car, clothes, and are able to go out and party than it is for their children to succeed in school. There is nothing more troubling than to see a young child eager to learn and have absolutely no support from their parents. After a while, the child will just give up. It’s hard for a child to be self-motivated. They need encouragement. They also need nourishment, clean clothing, a clean home, and parents who care enough to put their wants aside for the sake of their children’s needs. Blaming racism for their failure to succeed is a cop out. If a black family does what most every family in this country does everyday to feed, clothe, and house their family, they can be a success. Children have to have parents who are determined to give them every opportunity in life. The government cannot do what a family can do for a child. Change the family and you will change the country.

We’ve made it to 2023, nearly three years since the pandemic hit the United States in full force. The virus is less deadly, we have effective vaccines and life is pretty much back to normal for most of us. If you’re President Joe Biden, however, the COVID-19 “emergency” is still front and center. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think Biden actually believes we are still in a state of emergency. He admitted as much in September when he declared the pandemic was “over.” Yet the president and his administration have enjoyed the extra powers that have accompanied the national emergency declaration. As President Biden plans to launch his reelection campaign, he is whistling past a graveyard of recently discarded Democratic Party icons, who have either left the scene willingly or are being gracelessly kicked out. Nancy Pelosi. Steny Hoyer. Pat Leahy. Jim Clyburn. Anthony Fauci. Dianne Feinstein. Their combined age is 500 — and until a few months ago, they were running the country. Now they’re shadows of their former selves, headed to the greener pastures of retirement, book deals or the backbenches of the House of Representatives. Over the past few months, the Democratic Party’s leadership has transitioned from the Silent Generation to a mixture of baby boomers and Gen Xers.

While the White House has not kept a formal list, the Secret Service does collect information on guests with regular access to the home. Retention of the names of those vetted by the Secret Service depends on a variety of factors, including proximity to the president and the nature of the background check.

The discovery of a fourth set of classified documents, at the Biden residence in Delaware, has further undermined the White House’s virtual mantra that the president “takes classified documents very seriously.” Putting aside the repeated movement of highly classified documents over six years, one curious element has emerged in this scandal: the use of private counsel. Not only did President Joe Biden enlist lawyers to clear out his private Washington office; he then used them — rather than security officers or the FBI — to search for additional classified documents. The initial use of lawyers is notable.
