President Biden touted new joint efforts between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada to curb illegal border crossings at a summit on Tuesday.
"There can no longer be any question, none, in today's interconnected world – we cannot wall ourselves off from shared problems," Biden said alongside Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
"We are stronger and better when we work together, the three of us, and together we've made enormous progress." (Snip) Back at the president's vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a taxpayer-funded wall started being constructed last week. That barrier, consisting of tall white fencing and gray stone pillars,

Don't blame poor old Joe for saying stupid nonsense everyday. He's a brain dead Weekend at Bernie's robot puppet corpse. Jill and others have him wired up for the show.

Enforcing existing immigration laws is his job. He is not doing it. Other countries, Australia and Canada, have needs-based immigration systems which use a system of points to determine eligibility to immigrate. The points are awarded based on economic needs of the country and job skills, language, and the candidate must have a job arranged and a sponsor.

The liberals are trying to equate illegal immigration with mass migrations of peoples in ancient history. A natural mass migration occurring and we need to help make it easier for them. Bull Crap!! Another deflection for stupid voters.

Sure Mexico and Canada are all for continued mass illegal migration to the US. They just cut through Mexico so Mexico is happy to have them leave. The Mexicans who leave send money back to Mexico. Canada is all for it because they stop in the USA. Maybe we should start bussing illegals into Canada and release them there. Bet Canada would change their tune real fast.

The migrants are not fleeing an ice age. They are not fleeing civil war. They are not fleeing natural disaster. They are coming here because they can. Once they get here they get free stuff and free transportation to where they want to go. They know there are no negative consequences for coming here illegalally, only benefits.

Yes, we CAN. But the Demonrats want the country engulfed by third world folks looking for a handout, so that they can vote (illegally) for more government control of everything.

If you actually rigorously enforce the LAW you don't need as much of a "Wall".
If every person caught on this side without a visa KNOWS they will get the boot, as well as a fine, and a future ban on ever coming back, instead of a subsidy, a lawyer, healthcare card, foodstamps, education benifits, housing...and elected leaders to Lobby for THEM? The tide will assuredly ebb. The "Bidens" of this world seem to think the Laws of Adverse Possession trump those of secure national borders.

Lord, forgive me, but I really despise this grifting crook and hope he takes a long slide to Hell very soon. I am beginning to wonder if our country will ever recover from the damage he’s inflicted.

Only Democrats mention such things as 'walling off ourselves".
The point is they aren't interested in formalizing the standard immigration processes because that doesn't give them a something they can "give" to influence the future votes they expect.
They also don't like that the immigration process has about a 10 year wait period, so they use things like asylum which is a shorter process (again, helping them gain something sooner that they expect will influence a future vote in favor of Democrats).
Now, that we know people will pay $10,000 and more to enter, that should be the new entry application fee, and would help fund the new personnel that would be employed to help speed up the legal immigration process to reduce that wait time.
