Supreme Court Agrees to Keep Title 42
Border Policy in Place Temporarily

Original Article

The Supreme Court voted 5-4 on Tuesday in favor of keeping Title 42 in place while legal challenges around the Trump-era border restriction play out. The decision comes about a week after Chief Justice John Roberts stayed a lower-court order that would have ended the pandemic-era policy on December 21. Title 42 allows for asylum-seekers at the border to be expelled to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. On Tuesday, the court agreed to keep that pause in place, granting an emergency request by 19 Republican attorneys general who warned that allowing Title 42 to expire would lead to an explosion of illegal immigrants

Judge Sullivan. .... remember him? He ruled that title 42 was a violation of the administrative procedure act. And was thus unenforceable. I think that ruling is whats before the court. The problem that the Biden administration has is the complete mess that their covid policy has become. No travel restrictions, no assembly restrictions, but they still want to require shots and fire unvaccinated employees. Is there a pandemic, or isn't there a pandemic? Ultimately, the SC will allow the moron in chief to lift title 42, because its a policy implemented on executive orders, due to a pandemic. Frankly, it should have been lifted a year ago. I just don't see the states prevailing on "this" issue. Bidens inability or refusal to secure the border is a completely different subject. Title 42 was a convenient tool that Trump used to temporarily secure the border. One that, try as they might, the democrats couldn't torpedo in the courts......until Sullivan decided that it couldn't be enforced.

Italy’s decision to take extra precautions with Chinese travelers paid off on Wednesday as two flights from China landed in Milan and half of the passengers tested positive for Covid-19. Italy was one of four countries that announced they would impose coronavirus restrictions on Chinese travelers because a massive wave of coronavirus infections is ripping across China, racking up millions of cases in a single day — but the tyrannical Chinese government decided to abandon almost all of its disease control protocols with almost no preparation for the consequences, loosen up travel restrictions, and begin handing out passports just in time for the Lunar New Year holiday.

"Therefore, through this letter, I hereby formally withdraw the subpoena issued to former President Trump, and notify you that he is no longer obligated to comply or produce records in response to said subpoena," Thompson added.

The former Army paratrooper and Yale Law School graduate turned militia leader warned that his conviction on the rare Civil War-era charge has set an ominous precedent that should alarm conservatives. “Their success in my trial is paving the way for them to keep rolling through other people building up to Trump,” Rhodes told The Washington Times. “It was a warmup for what they’re going to do.

Former President Donald Trump’s taxes are set to go public Friday, the Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee stated Tuesday. The committee obtained the tax returns in November after the Supreme Court ruled in its favor. The tax documents will account for Trump’s tax returns from 2015 to 2021, Reuters reported. Last week, the House Ways and Means Committee claimed in a report the IRS had not audited Trump for three out of the four years he was president. The IRS’s failure to audit Trump apparently broke its own rule. The committee’s report did not include Trump’s tax returns in the report because confidential information had to be redacted

Earlier this year, Robert “Rachel” Levine, Joe Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health, claimed without evidence that there is consensus in the medical community that so-called “gender-affirming care” is good for kids. “There is no argument among medical professionals — pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. — about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care,” he claimed. But a new study has found that Levine’s claim is not supported by data. In fact, there is no medical science to support his claim whatsoever.

As I described last week, the crisis at the border is about to get dramatically worse. There are tens of thousands of people waiting in camps on the Mexican side of the border for the end of Title 42. Whenever that happens, estimates suggest there could be 12,000 to 14,000 arrivals at the border per day. Meanwhile, the Biden administration has no coherent plan to deal with it. Through all of this, Joe Biden has remained consistently on the sidelines. His refusal to go to the border to see the crisis he helped create up close has become a point of perverse pride. And the media, naturally, has sided with Biden.

With the dismissal of Kari Lake’s lawsuit over Arizona’s 2022 election, a contentious saga was brought to an end. Despite issues with voting machines and questions about the chain of custody of ballots, the judge in the case said the Lake campaign did not meet the legal threshold needed to provide any remedy. Ultimately, as I wrote initially when the lawsuit was filed, it was always likely to be too difficult to prove intent (required under the law) and that voters were actually disenfranchised. Supposition, as much as it makes for good internet chatter, wasn’t going to do it here, and without direct evidence that ballots were improperly discarded or

Biological assimilation into femininity has long been the final frontier for transgender activists — a Rubicon they had not yet been able to fully cross. Aspirational transgenders can get various sordid surgeries to appear more feminine; they can adopt feminine social roles, but they could never really become fully biologically female. This nags at the LGBTQ+++™ community something fierce, as biological reality always belies the religious conviction that “transgender women are women,” full-stop. This is one of those stories that you’re certain is from the Babylon Bee, and that is stunning in its implications when it turns out to be the truth. In this case, the truth is that, in accordance with UN and WEF climate recommendations, the city of Oxford (home to the famed university) approved plans mandating that citizens may not drive more than 15 minutes distance from their homes without permission. It’s called the “15 Minute City” and is intended to reduce auto emissions. Mostly, though, it will reduce liberty, which is what climate change madness has always been about.
