Representative James Clyburn. (D-SC) said on this week’s broadcast on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show” Republican leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy should make a deal with Democrats to get enough votes to become Speaker of the House.
Host Jonathan Capehart said, “Let’s talk about the disunity on the other side of the aisle. Current house minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, he is working hard to scare off the 218 votes he’s going to need on January 3, when they have the vote for the new House speaker. Do you think he’ll be successful in his quest for the speaker’s gavel?”
Clyburn said, “I think so. I don’t know so, but I think so.
Be like a typical Democrat and make the deal and then break it, easy peasy. What will they do, not cooperate and obstruct and and and…they would do it in a heartbeat.

All McCarthy has to do to succeed in the next Congress is do what the leftist Democrats tell him to do. While that is going on, all the wimpy Republicans will have to do is go back to sleep for two more years.

Clyburn, take a hike, pal. We aren't going to let you do the pubbies' bidding for them. Silent Sam, McCarthy, needs to step aside for a young'un. Rep. Boebert, by chance?

Clyburn is the reason we have Pedo Joe in the White House. Clyburn needs to do more than take a hike.

The Dems and Rinos are pushing for Fred Upton (no light bulbs) to be speaker!!!!! I Don't care for Wimp Mc Carthy, however with that choice, McCarthy would get my vote.

I advise McCarthy to not take any advice from Clyburn. The Democrats will ambush you much sooner than you think, and in more underhanded ways than you have ever thought of.

Yeah, Clyburn is a slimeball, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if McCarthy makes the deals.

This is what happens when five publicity seekers threaten to derail McCarthy. I hope Clyburn’s interference shocks these boneheads into shutting up and presenting a united front in a House controlled by Republicans with a thin margin.

Don’t worry McCarthy is a step daughter of Mitch and he has been well trained in making deals with political enemies.

If McCarthy goes for this Clyburn proposal, all it will do is prove that McCarthy is a demonrat and will rule accordingly.

Clyburn is a racist and I could care less what he thinks, BUT if McCarthy sides up with him and other Dems, his tenure will not be the great appointment he is hoping for. I hope he will not have a peaceful day or nights sleep if he betrays us, I have no confidance in him or the Republican party with the status quo of the current leadership in both houses.

Kevin, go talk to Manchin about making deals with Democrats.
House Republicans, we are all tired of this "maverick" BS. Check your egos as the door and get behind a Speaker. Wake up and smell the political coffee - the Dems are your enemy and are not to be trusted.

Clyburn would appear to be the demonrat socialist Marxists "Godfather"--
Biden was wallowing near the bottom of candidates running for the dem nomination for President until Clyburn laid his hands on annointing him to lead and from then on, he started to win primaries. How many political favors has he gotten for this act???
Corrupt and crooked, its time to shine the light on HIM and turn the tables!
