We reported on Dr. Nepute’s suit with the federal government a week ago. He is being sued for $40,000 per violation where Dr. Nepute told the world that they should take vitamin D and zinc to help them deal with COVID on any level. Yes, that’s right, he told people to take vitamins and the government is suing him for doing so. In total, the government is suing him for over 12 million instances where his advertisements were heard. (Snip)
A new study published in the open-access peer-reviewed journal Scientific Reports (2022 November*) shows us anew what we have already known:
1. WE COULD HAVE AVOIDED MILLIONS OF COVID

I've been taking 2000iu Vitamin D and zinc since forever....never have I ever had a covid issue... Except for all the fools telling me I had to wear a mask and get vaccinated!

Meanwhile, “government” subjects people to great treatments such as Remdesivir and shames you for avoiding the “shot”.

Lots of good information out there on Vitamin D3. Also it is necessary to take Vitamin K2 with your D3 to ensure that the calcium which D3 promotes absorption of will go to your teeth and bones and other appropriate places, and not to arteries and other inappropriate places.
Remember the radio ads for "heart scans" for $50 or $75 that were often advertised a few years back? These scans were looking at calcium, specifically, and looking for calcium buildups in arteries, especially coronary arteries, which can be an indicator of future heart attack. K2 tends to prevent that deposition of calcium in bad places.
So, Vitamin D3 and K2 are needed together, and D3 is critical for good immune system function. The whole "flu season" is that when the sun hangs low in the sky in late fall through spring in the northern hemisphere, there is too little sun available, and too little skin exposed, to naturally make enough Vitamin D3, so we become more vulnerable to viruses like colds and influenza. Take supplements and avoid this entirely.
Dr. Campbell, a British doctor, has many videos online where he discusses these issues. And I have noted that he protects himself from these attacks from the medical thugs by "reporting what is in a new peer reviewed medical study" when he is giving this information. He makes it clear that "I am a doctor, but I am not YOUR doctor, and I am not giving you medical advice, I am just reporting what is written in this peer reviewed research report".
Always they have play defense to protect themselves from the official thugs who would crush anyone who gets the truth out to us.

Around 5 years ago, my Neurologist prescribed 10,000 IU's per week of Vitamin D3 for my nerve health (note: per this MD, it must be D3 for best results). We buy this over-the-counter at our local "compounding" pharmacy. Suffice it to say, Mrs. R and I never got so much as a sniffle during the Covid scare.

Yep. About six months prior to the Covid insanity my doctor prescribed 5,000 iu per day in order to bring up my low vitamin D level. Right before lockdown I had a blood test and confirmed that my vitamin D level was good. Fast forward to 2021. I contracted Covid. The only reason I knew I had it was the loss of smell. Otherwise, it was milder than a cold. My wife had the same response. I had also began supplementing with a vitamin D (1000iu), Zinc, vitamin C tab each day.
Now, does that confirm the results of that study. No, of course not. But I followed the advice of my physician, as well as the well-respected opinions offered during the ChiFlu when our government was telling us to wait until it’s too late, then roll the dice.
I’m not a smart man, but I do know enough to have watched the statistics of the death rate and know that I was more likely to be struck by lightning - multiple times - than to die of Covid. I also understand enough to know that when the government came out crowing about the near perfection of their new “vaccine” that they were lying. What they are trying to accomplish is as had as creating sustained fusion, only whatever they put in you cannot be removed; the damage cannot be undone.
So, I will continue to struggle to eat right - carbs are my enemy - and follow the advice of people who do not have a financial incentive to push an unproven lab cocktails onto scared sheeple.

And the same media that supported the suppression of VitD3's usefulness has the gal to wonder why Equitorial Africans have such an low rate of Covid and Covid mortality.

More lying codswallop from Jim Hoft. The article referred to (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-21513-9) shows that people with low vitamin D levels do poorly with COVID. But such people tend to be elderly and debilitated. The article does NOT show any value in taking vitamin D. Quite simply, vitamin D supplements don’t make you fit, healthy and young.

Re #8, nobody has ever claimed that Vitamin D supplements "make you fit, healthy and young", so that is just a false claim on your part. Set up a claim that nobody made to "refute". Pathetic.
Measuring what D3 levels people in simple cultures in equatorial zones have in their blood from their body making D3 with lots of sunshine gives us a "norm". In norther latitudes, especially in winter, we tend to have serious deficits of D3, due to too little skin exposure to high energy sunshine. All we are doing is using supplements to get normal blood levels of a vitamin that our bodies tries to make, but is unable to keep up with due to location and lifestyle issues in "modern" societies.
Spewing angry, fraudulent nonsense, and "refuting" things that have NOT been claimed is just sad. And with the pathological denial of all of the massive information on the dangers of these mRNA shots, along with the denial of the broad proof of little or no benefits, what a closed-minded, angry view.

I take 3000 mg of D3, 1000 mg of C, and 50 mg of Zinc every morning. I credit that as one of the reasons I never got COVID, along with the fact that I kept the wearing of the repugnant face diaper to an absolute minimum and refused to lock myself down, making it a point to go somewhere at least once a day. It all helped to keep my immune system strong.

I've been taking D3 supplements for several years. During that time I only took one sick day about 3 years ago, and had a mild bout of covid in January (despite being fully vaxed) that would have been a good excuse to stay home for a few days if I still worked out of an office. As is I didn't miss any work, and the covid was milder than the flu or even some head colds or bouts of bronchitis that I have had in the past. I easily got by with just acetaminophen and ibuprofen to keep the aches in check.
Don't know how much of that can be attributed to the D3, but I'll keep taking it because it does seem to help. Why change something that works?

I was in Italy Jan 2020, Ireland in March, took a few trips to Florida, Missouri and Aruba during 2020-2021. Masked when I had to, didn't get the jab. Only tested twice per Aruba/US travel requirements. Knock on wood.. I've dodged Covid. Even when I had close contact with someone that tested positive the day after we spent a day together. I wonder if being diligent taking zinc, d12, b3 and C has anything to do with my luck?

S.O. and I are both over 70 (way). Daily 5000 IU D3, 50 mg Zn, and 1000 mg Vit C (and a few others) since Covid started. No vaxes, no masking in past 4 months, normal multiple trips/week to Vons, Home Depot, Dr. office, general shopping and outdoors. Wife is an avid gardener, 5-6 hours/day outside. Not even a cold in 3 years.

“codswallop” - how very UK. Maybe someday #8 will reveal his credentials Otherwise he’s just a grumpy naysayer spouting his own opinion. That is indeed codswallop. And rubbish. Biden would call it malarkey.
Those who were said to do poorly with covid were elderly and debiltated. Some may have missed that memo.
My late couain, a brilliant physician-surgeon, did a great deal of research on Vit. D and was an advocate.

It's not exactly a secret that vitamin D boosts the immune system. I've been taking the vitamin for decades, ever since I first read about this function. Anyone in public health should know enough to have advised people to take it. It's important enough that milk and other foods are fortified with it.
