Senator-Elect John Fetterman and his wife, Gisele, are celebrating their recent hard-fought victory for a key senate seat in Pennsylvania. On Tuesday, Gisele Fetterman uploaded a photo of her and her husband in front of the politician’s office, with a freshly minted sign that read “Senator-Elect John Fetterman.” Gisele captioned the triumphant photo with “First day ---.” The photo offers a possible glimpse at how the political power couple may be dressing from January 3 onwards. Gisele, who has co-founded multiple non-profit organizations, appears to have already adapted her funky and individualistic sense of style to the office. In the

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday named former federal prosecutor Jack Smith as special counsel for two ongoing criminal investigations by the Department of Justice of former President Donald Trump. Smith’s appointment came three days after Trump, a Republican, announced plans to run for president in 2024. Trump’s move directly led to Garland’s decison to appoint a special counsel, who will recommend whether criminal charges should be lodged against the ex-president. The attorney general was appointed by Biden, a Democrat who defeated Trump in his 2020 re-election bid. Biden could again face Trump again in the 2024 election. CORRECTION*

Newly revealed body-cam footage reportedly contradicts the Department of Justice’s account of the sequence of events that led up to the attack on Paul Pelosi, the husband of outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, confirming that Pelosi opened the door for the police officers who responded to the 911 call he placed from his residence.
While the DOJ claimed in an indictment filed on November 9 that the officers opened the door themselves, body-cam footage viewed by the San Francisco district attorney’s office confirms that it was Pelosi who let them into the home, a source who personally viewed the footage told the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit.

Hundreds of Twitter employees apparently quit Thursday after new CEO Elon Musk gave workers an ultimatum: commit to a “hardcore” work environment, or be fired.
The reported exodus threw Twitter into more turmoil and came as staffers at the social media giant were given a 5 p.m. Thursday deadline to sign onto Musk’s workplace pledge.
The resignations were gleaned from internal Twitter communications, including a poll where 42% of 180 workers surveyed Thursday said they were “Taking the exit option, I’m free,” Reuters reported.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday she will step down from her leadership role after two decades in the post.
“I will not seek re-election to Democratic leadership in the next Congress,” Pelosi said. The first female speaker added that she will continue to represent the people in San Francisco in the House.
The California lawmaker will relinquish her position as head of the Democratic caucus, which she’s held for 19 years, to make way for a “new generation to lead.”
With her leadership still in high demand in her party, Pelosi will likely help manage her successor’s transition

The American Bar Association voted to drop the LSAT and other standardized tests as requirements for law school admissions.
An ABA panel made its decision on Friday after noon after a committee recommended the testing requirements be scrapped because they hurt diversity in admissions.
The LSAT, or Law School Admission Test, estimates a prospective students reasoning and reading comprehension, and it serves as a predictor on how they will fair in classes.
The ABA's ruling will take effect in the fall 2025 semester, after a final determination from the association's Hose of Delegates in February.

With Republicans set to take over the House of Representatives and Democrats slated for leadership elections at the end of the month, outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's will tell people her plans on Thursday.
Pelosi, 82, announced through a spokesperson that she'll 'address her future plans' later today with speculation already having begun as to whether she'll remain the leader of the Democrats.
Rumors have suggested that Pelosi would step down from Congress entirely, potentially leaving her extremely left-leaning district in San Francisco to her daughter Christine.

“My colleagues, I stand before you as Speaker of the House. As a wife. A mother. A grandmother. A devout Catholic. A proud Democrat,” said Pelosi. “And a patriotic American: a citizen of the greatest Republic in the history of the world.”

On Tuesday, after a week of counting ballots in an obviously fraudulent election where Republican voters were blocked from voting when they went to the polls, Blake Masters conceded his race to far left Democrat Mark Kelly in Arizona.
Arizona was a dependable red state until Democrats and secret sleeper Republicans turned the state over to mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and broken and fraudulent voting machines, and election tricks by the communist left.

Chris Wray, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, appeared before the House of Representatives on Tuesday, and once again was grilled about the FBI’s knowledge of and participation in the events of January 6.
Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) pressed Wray about FBI informants amid the far-right extremists that had planned the Capitol siege in advance of the Electoral College proceedings that day.
Watch as Higgins unloads on Wray for once again refusing to give a straight response to a question that the American people have every right to have answered.

There is nothing funnier than watching leftist Punchinellos beclown themselves over the latest “We’ve got Trump NOW!” hijinks.
Remember when the FBI raided Trump’s home supposedly looking for “nuclear secrets” a few months back? Guess how that turned out? I’ll let the quislings at the Washinton Post spell it out:
Federal agents and prosecutors have come to believe former president Donald Trump’s motive for allegedly taking and keeping classified documents was largely his ego and a desire to hold on to the materials as trophies or mementos, according to people familiar with the matter.
In other words, Trump was keeping souvenirs

The impending bloodbath at far-left CNN is destroying the fake news outlet’s morale, a 20-year staffer said.
This revelation occurred during a recent company meeting where CNN chief Chris Licht confirmed that layoffs are coming in early December.
“There is widespread concern over the global economic outlook, and we must factor that risk into our long-term planning,” Licht reportedly said. “All this together will mean a noticeable change to this organization. That, by definition, is unsettling. These changes will not be easy because they will affect people, budgets, and projects.
