About "Deniers"

Original Article

Posted By: Hazymac, 11/15/2022 7:03:07 AM

It all started with Holocaust deniers. That phrase has a clear meaning: it refers to someone who denies that the Holocaust took place. But liberals saw potential in the locution, an opportunity to disqualify their opponents without actually making an argument. Thus, they started labeling people as “climate deniers.” What does that mean? Someone who denies that we have a climate? There is no such person. Someone who denies that our climate changes? There is no such person. No: a “climate denier” is anyone who questions any of a long list of theories that liberals string together to justify devastating our standard of living for no good reason.

If election fraud is rampant (as 75%-80% of Americans believe), and if it undermines democracy and ALWAYS favors Democrat candidates, why have most of the states with GOP-majority state legislatures done nothing about it?

So, it's okay NOW to be an Election denier, but it was definitely NOT okay in 2020! Hmmmm Nothing has changed, same outcomes in this election when Democrats win! So why was Trump the Devil Himself for saying the Election was Stolen in 2020?

Just a label designed to shut down the discussion so you never have to actually examine the merits of an opposing point of view. And when you can't stand to face the opposing viewpoint you have just conceded the debate.

They also implement Phobophobia and the Kafka Trap as intimidation (definitions from the Orwelexicon) Phobophobia: Fear of being called a “phobe” (Islamaphobe, trans-phobe, etc.). Usually followed by self-censorship. Kafkatrap: A rhetorical move whereby protesting your innocence is interpreted as proving your guilt. We've been called Racist, Sexist, Homophobic Bigots for so long adding Denier to the label is like putting tassels on a throw pillow. I'm fairly immune to name calling since the 'sticks & stones' phase wore off.

It's been a couple of months since I got banned by Scott from Powerline (after posting there for years) because I used the acronym: POS, even though he is okay with FJB. Have to say, I really don't miss the dribble that PL hosts like Scott and John issue on an almost daily basis.

I'm thoroughly confused, John. You've been bashing Trump for "denying" the 2020 election, but are now saying that wanting honest, verified elections is proper? You still have a couple of hours left to just go away before today's big announcement. Please do so.

All of these climate hysterics are incredibly stupid. A little reading about the past says, loud and clear, the earth is always changing. Oceans used to be ice and you could walk in the dry bed. Mountains show layers of weather at different times throughout millions of years. There is climate change, always has been and always will be. It's just not affected by cars or fossil fuels or humans.

So we shouldn't ridicule the genderconfusion pushers as "sex deniers"? They do deny that a person's sex has any legitimate role in their identity, and posit in its place a whole menagerie of categories based on feelings and desires.

It’s been often said that we are a nation of laws. Judicial supremacism is the opposite of a nation of laws. It’s a system under which judges legislate to suit their own whims with no limits on their power. Even by the standards of resistance judicial activism, this one is really something. A Georgia judge on Tuesday found the state’s six-week abortion ban to be “plainly unconstitutional” and has barred it from being enforced. Which Constitution? The Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act in Georgia bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detectable, generally around six weeks into a pregnancy. The bill passed in 2019 but was found

The in-house performance coach at FTX claimed Tuesday the doomed crypto firm’s headquarters in the Bahamas was a “pretty tame place” — despite rampant speculation about its executives’ sex lives and alleged substance use. Online gossip alleging the group lived in a “polycule” — or network of polyamorous relationships — surged after CoinDesk reported the executives “are, or used to be, paired up in romantic relationships with each other.” Dr. George K. The council sent the bill to Mayor Muriel Bowser to sign into law. The Revised Criminal Code Act of 2022 and its revisions have been shaped by the D.C. Criminal Code Reform Commission. It has been through numerous public hearings, but parts of the measure are opposed by Bowser and police Chief Robert Contee. The bill’s principal sponsor, Ward 6 Council member Charles Allen, who also chairs the Committee on the Judiciary and Public Safety, said the measure is meant to modernize the criminal code

The devil is in the news again, at least on Russian TV. Time after time, big names on state television have portrayed the current war in Ukraine not only as a struggle between Moscow and Kyiv; nor even Russia versus NATO, but as an actual contest between good and evil, with the celestial forces on the one hand and Satan on the other. Russian commentator Vladimir Solovyov admitted that ‘we were formerly Soviet atheists, but we are now a crack team of Orthodox, Muslim and Buddhist traditionalists waging a war against Satan from our base in the Kremlin.’ It’s no fluke. The program seeks to forgive $10,000 in federal student loan debt for individuals with incomes under $125,000 and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients, with the Biden administration claiming it had the authority to institute the program under the HEROES Act of 2003 and an emergency situation sparked by the COVID-19 pandemic. Is Trump’s endorsement the kiss of death in a general election? Why didn’t the Republicans better prepare for voting fraud and manipulation? But what nearly everyone fails to understand is that this election further amplified that this nation has effectively and permanently split into two countries tenuously living side-by-side,
