While we were out doing our patriotic duty to show up at the polls this election, the dem-rats were busy raiding the storehouse grain. We played by the old Constitutional rules, they played by their own. Voting doesn’t work unless we somehow institute a national ban on mail-in votes, early mailing and ballot harvesting. The article suggests we beat the Dems at their own game. Why emulate gangsters?

I remember reading an article that Wisconsin had several hundred registered voters with birthdates prior to 1902 or something like that -- voters who were 118 or more years old. Considering that the oldest known American alive is 115, these people are either dead voters or "snafus" (a wrong digit entered somewhere, etc.). In either case, the rolls need to be corrected. The Green Bay Packers have a long, long waiting list for season tickets. Every year, they send a postcard to everyone on the list reminding them that they're still on the list. I think if the postcard comes back a second year in a row, the name is taken off the list. Maybe we should do that with our voter rolls.

Republicans actually did pretty well in SE Wisconsin, or at least in Kenosha County. They pretty well swept the board except for one state representative who's been there forever and will probably stay in office until death or dementia take him. And yeah, we're stuck with 4 more years of Evers as governor (soul of a bureaucrat and personality of a middle-school Mean Girl) but our state legislature is redder than previously and with any luck they'll prevent him doing any real mischief.

Every ballot that is counted once and once only must be cast by a qualified living citizen voter who cast one and one only ballot. Every citizen must insist on this rule.

Less than a week after Democrats "won" most of the midterm election, something pretty weird is going on in various Democrat power centers, in a curiously counterintuitive pattern of acts and weather balloons: Joe Biden forced his wokester Customs and Border Protection commissioner, Chris Magus, a man of open borders with no shame, to resign, in a tussle of sorts over whether he was to resign or be fired. Politico had reported that he had "lost interest" in enforcing the border and dozed off at meetings, which is pretty much the Biden modus operandi, a knock-on act emanating from the fish that stinks

Joe Biden would have you think he's this ace inflation fighter, doing God's work out there for the little guy, to counter the dread Putin and Big Oil, who are busy whipping up inflation. On days when it isn't "transitory" of course. Following the release of the Bureau of Labor Statistics's October CPI on Wednesday, which showed the CPI at 7.7% on the year, down from 8.2% last month, Biden crowed: "Today’s report shows that we are making progress on bringing inflation down, without giving up all of the progress we have made on economic growth and job creation.

The battle to be King 'Rat among the rapidly sinking Democrats is now going full steam. According to Politico: The race to succeed Speaker Nancy Pelosi as the leader of House Democrats may have been clinched at a meeting in the Capitol on Sept. 1. That’s when House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn of South Carolina and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York slipped back to Washington to connect in Clyburn’s office during the summer congressional recess at Jeffries’ request. Jeffries, the fifth-ranking House Democrat who aspires to be the first-ranking House Democrat in the next Congress, was picking up heightened chatter from colleagues about California Rep. For Joe Biden, it looks like one disgusting speech deserves another. Biden is expected to address the "ongoing threats to democracy" in a primetime speech with the Capitol as a backdrop. According to NPR: Days ahead of midterm elections, President Biden is giving his closing argument on the state of U.S. democracy with the backdrop of the U.S. Capitol, where the Jan. 6 attack took place. It follows with some radio reports that are doozies of pious flapdoodle on the state of U.S. democracy from the forked perspective of the Democrats -- which can be heard here.

At newspapers, obituaries are typically written in advance. The Washington Post had plenty to work with when the death of Lucianne Goldberg happened, but instead of remembering good, or at least balancing their summary, they selectively chose to remember the great muse of the right, Internet pioneer, and accomplished woman from a time when women weren't allowed much accomplishment, by printing only cherry-picked tales of dubious sourcing that made her look phony. It was garbage. It stood in stark contrast to the insightful and warm-hearted tweets that overwhelmingly were the consensus on Twitter, from wildly different parts of the Internet spectrum.

Elon Musk became Twitter Inc's (TWTR.N) owner on Thursday, firing top executives and providing little clarity over how he will achieve the lofty ambitions he has outlined for the influential social media platform. "The bird is freed," he tweeted, referencing Twitter's bird logo in an apparent nod to his desire to see the company have fewer limits on content that can be posted. The CEO of electric car maker Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) has, however, also said he wants to prevent the platform from becoming an echo chamber for hate and division. Other goals include wanting to "defeat" spam bots on Twitter and make the algorithms

SAN FRANCISCO — Elon Musk has started cleaning house at Twitter with the firings of at least four top executives on Thursday, said two people with knowledge of the situation, as the billionaire closes his $44 billion takeover of the social media company. The Twitter executives who were fired include Parag Agrawal, Twitter’s chief executive, Ned Segal, the chief financial officer, Vijaya Gadde, the top legal and policy executive, and Sean Edgett, the general counsel, said the people, who declined to be identified because they were not authorized to speak publicly. At least one of the executives who was fired was escorted out of Twitter’s office, they said.

Paranoia and fearmongering -- you can just smell it among the Democrats and their boosters. Today they got caught putting out bare naked disinformation about Republican plans for the country once they win the midterm election. They claimed Republicans were going to steal grandma's Social Security check and tax veterans benefits, among other unpopular ideas no credible party would ever endorse. These Democrats know they're slip-sliding away, you can see it even in the governors' races now, so the idea now is to scare the voters into voting for the Democrat status quo instead of embrace a new party. One problem: It's not a distortion of the Republican plans, it's actual lies,

If Joe Biden disgusts us with stubborn willingness to sacrifice the entire economy for the sake of his greenie, open-borders, big-spending, agenda, note that Democrats have it in for him, too. For Democrats, their logic is that Joe has sacrificed their political power for the sake of his greenie, open-borders, big-spending agenda. They cite 'inflation,' forgetting that they were the ones who enacted the big spending that triggered the inflation and Joe embraced, and somehow, Joe hasn't magically stopped it. For them, this is simple: angry voters at midterms about to destroy their party's majority in the House and Senate, so Joe is going to pay for it.

Old Joe Biden, the ostensible president of the United States, on Wednesday held one of his Potemkin press conferences before the gathering of sycophants and propagandists known as the White House press corps. I’m making sure he, under legitimate efforts of our Constitution, does not become the next President again.” How can he make sure of that? He didn’t say, and of course the sycophants didn’t ask.

As recently as this month, a Qatar World Cup ambassador told a German TV broadcaster that homosexuality was 'damage to the mind', and it remains illegal to be gay in the conservative Muslim country.
