Democrat Katie Hobbs defeats MAGA favorite

Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs has defeated Republican Kari Lake in Arizona's race for governor, NBC News projected Monday. Hobbs' victory is key for Democrats in a presidential battleground and a rebuke to a prominent election denier — though the closeness of the contest left the result up in the air for nearly a week. A record number of early ballots were dropped off on Election Day in Maricopa County, officials said, which had to be processed in a more time-intensive manner that includes signature verification. Maricopa County, the state's most populous, said Sunday that it estimated that its count was 94 percent complete after receiving a historic 290,000

Democrats cheat because they cannot win on their policy positions. Republicans cannot win because they won’t even address the gross fraud right in front of their faces. Now why would Republicans go belly up every time it is clear that voter fraud was rampant and cost them elections? Their are either incompetent or complicit. I believe they are complicit in the little game they are playing. They’re as much a globalist cabal as are the democrats. I don’t know where we go when both parties have merged into this globalist mentality that wants to rule the world and in order to do it must destroy this country. The vision they have for us is pure evil. They will be the elites and we will be nothing more than serfs begging them for our very existence. Where in Hades did the American freedom loving spirit go? Have we allowed these weak, pasty, flaccid politicians to do what a standing army could not do? My goodness, will we never rise up and fight this scourge?

I'm a bit disenchanted with President Trump lately. He has overshot the mark several times. But I'll say this for the man: he has $billions, which gives him the capacity to fund lawsuits against those who misuse him. Kari Lake may be a howitzer of a great candidate, but I doubt she has a fortune to expend on attorneys, particularly attorneys funded by the bottomless pockets of the Arizona and federal governments.

#9 Your insights and posts are Must Reads. America is starting to look (and act) like “The Hunger Games” when the ruling elites take control of any area of our lives. Their outrageous behavior is applauded, celebrated, tolerated and often condoned. Voter apathy leads to a compliant, easily controlled electorate. There are many states that have honest, decent voting systems in place. I live in one of those great Midwestern states. It all comes down to leadership and education. How do we get our country back? We “clean house” one closet at a time. We start by teaching our children and grandchildren the lessons they are not getting in school. We continually ring the bell of Freedom to anyone who will listen. It may take generations, but to save our beloved country from the greed that is consuming it we must do what we can. Each and every one of us. We don’t give up. 2 Chronicles 7:14. “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Well, it is official. Former President Donald Trump is making another run at the White House in 2024. In front of a crowd at his home in Mar-a-Lago, Trump gave a speech in which he excoriated the ineptitude of the Biden administration while striking a hopeful message for the future. There can be no doubt that Trump’s speech has already caused immense triggering on the left. Indeed, The Washington Post published an article titled “Trump, who as president fomented an insurrection, says he is running again” during the former president’s speech. There is a reason I call them the activist media. During his speech, Trump reminded the audience of the prosperity

A federal judge on Tuesday blocked Title 42 -- a controversial rule that's allowed US authorities to expel more than 1 million migrants who crossed the US-Mexico border. Tuesday's court order leaves the Biden administration without one of the key tools it had deployed to address the thousands of migrants arriving at the border on a daily basis and could restore access to asylum for arriving migrants. While the rule was drafted by the Trump administration during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Biden administration has relied heavily on it to manage the increase of migrants at the border.

On Tuesday, Texas governor Greg Abbott announced that he had invoked the Invasion Clauses of both the state and federal Constitutions in an attempt to put an end to Biden's border crisis. In a statement posted to Twitter, Abbott explained that by treating the flow of illegal migration as an "invasion," Texas would be able to tackle the problem with unprecedented vigor. Rupert Murdoch has reportedly warned Donald Trump his media empire will not back any attempt to return to the White House, as former supporters turn to the youthful Florida governor Ron DeSantis. After the Republican party’s disappointing performance in the US midterm elections, in particular the poor showing by candidates backed by Trump, Murdoch’s rightwing media empire appears to be seeking a clean break from the former president’s damaged reputation and perceived waning political power. Trump’s eruptions, coupled with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ stunning and singular midterm success, ensured that such prior latent conservative unease is now overt.
