One persistent myth in today’s materialistic society is that money rules everything. Those wishing to understand why people act the way they do are told to “follow the money.” The lust for power and wealth trumps everything. However, there are more important things than money--even on Wall Street. Some liberal businessmen and investment management firms often sacrifice profits to promote their leftist ideological causes.(Snip)On January 15, 2020, BlackRock founder and CEO Larry Fink sent a letter to CEOs saying that he will use its power to ensure “every government, company, and shareholder must confront climate change.”

Thank a tin foil garter!
Conspericy theories are now mainstream...
We call them spoiler alert
Next, study the history of the Rothschild family. Bankrolling both sides of every single war for over a century.
In good and tight with Soros, Schwab, gates and many other parasites.
Time to call the exterminator.
Seen what is going on all over Europe?
I thought not...

If you have money in a IRA or 401k make sure you don't invest in Vanguard funds, let them die on the alter of the woke.
I doubt we will get an edit function, it looks like we already lost the spell checker.

FTA: “ . . . every government, company, and shareholder must confront climate change.”
Well - - about two weeks ago - - I did exactly that. I was walking past a Korean grocery store - - and as I turned the corner - - whom did I come face-to-face with? Yes - - climate change!
At first I was a little stunned. But I said to myself - - "It's about time I confront climate change." So I shouted out - - "Hey - - what are you doing here?" But climate change just gave me a sly smirk - - and then turned and ran down an alley way.
Folks - - I managed to sum up the courage. So I'm asking all of you - - when you see climate change - - confront it! Larry Fink willl be very proud of you!

Blackrock recently launched an ad campaign. Blackrock commercials are all over Fox News. These ads considered against the backdrop of bad publicity such as this article and holdings in decline, have the look of a survival tactic, even desperation. To ‘ll with Blackrock and Larry Fink.

Related:. Warner Brothers shelved a new woke superhero movie because it bombed so badly at previews. Cost them 100 million. People are sick of woke - unless they're in the wokism bidness.

Back in the 1960s, the word FINK was a negative label used to describe an undesirable person of low repute. RATFINK was a label for a really really despicable, undesirable, very bad, untrustworthy person.
The CEO of Blackrock seems to be going for maximization of his own name.

‘Go woke Go broke’ is not just becoming a reality for the commercial and entertainment industries. It has hit Wall Street, where money talks and nothing else matters.

I sold all my Blackrock holdings a month ago. I doubt they will miss my puny 30 grand but if we all did it we could make a real dent. Really, folks, dump the woke corporation stocks. We can make a difference if we hang together. These corporations think that they are on the right side of history. Let’s prove them wrong. Boycott all of them. Don’t buy their overpriced crap. We can make a real difference.

I made certain that I divested from any and all BlackRock funds about six or seven years ago.

Larry Fink reminds me of the little guy who tried to smack God around. All the little guy's punching and banging didn't even stir up a breeze.

2nd post apologies, but I just remembered a character from The Office, a pompous fool named Robert California, who for a short time, was CEO of Dunder Mifflin.
Robert thought he was discussing business strategies with Kevin, the fat accountant, who was actually talking about cookies, and their proper placement in the office vending machine.
And in the midst of that dialogue, Roibert California says, 'why should Black Rock be viewed as being right about investment standards?' I didn't get it at the time, but now I do.
