As we reported, Joe Biden gave a primetime speech last night to the nation. It was his last chance to convince people of what he or the Democrats had done to earn anyone’s vote before the midterm. It was his chance to talk about how he was going to bring down inflation and crime, the two top concerns of the American people. Instead, Biden used the moment to try to tell people that they should vote for Democrats because of the “threat to democracy” – that “democracy was on the ballot.” So if you thought the top issues wed inflation or crime, sorry, as Hillary Clinton says

It should be clear by this time that popularity has nothing to do with electability. Trump filled rally after rally in state after state with countless, full-house, full-stadium crowds, and such numbers do not lie. There really was a red wave in the midterms, but it was macro-engineered to a trickle, as should have been expected. The Climate Gender Equity Fund will “leverage private sector contributions to help provide women climate leaders with technical skills, networks, and capital to develop and scale climate solutions,” according to a White House statement. Kelly, a former NASA astronaut, was seeking a full term as Senator of Arizona in the 2022 race, after winning the 2020 race against Martha McSally, the Republican who was serving the rest of John McCain's term after he passed away while in office.
Throughout the election cycle, the race was under the national spotlight, being one of the best pickup opportunities for Senate Republicans this year.
Republican Joe Lombardo has won the race for governor in Nevada, NBC News projects, narrowly defeating Democratic incumbent Steve Sisolak.
The victory for Lombardo, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, puts a Republican back in the top job in the pivotal presidential battleground state and could have major implications on the future of education and criminal justice in the swing state. His projected win comes after days of delays in the processing of ballots in Clark County, the largest county in the state and the one that includes Las Vegas.

Construction of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago has been temporarily suspended following the discovery of a noose at the worksite.
The Lakeside Alliance, a group of Black-owned construction companies building the center, said they are investigating to identify those responsible for what the Obama Foundation described as an “act of hate”.
The noose was discovered on Thursday morning on the premises of the center, located in Jackson Park, and the police were notified.
The Chicago Police Department (CPD) confirmed that they are aware of the matter and investigating.
