It out-herods Herod: pray you, avoid it. —Hamlet (III,ii) As has become flagrantly obvious over the years, the political left and its myrmidons in the media, medical industry, social agencies, public libraries, and school system have become slickly adept at framing the cultural debate between conservatives and “progressives” by mutilating discourse, fudging long-accepted distinctions, and decoupling terms from their culturally ascribed referents. What was understood for centuries and millennia as decency becomes indecency, good becomes bad, virtue becomes vice, settled tradition becomes feral violence, family and marriage become barbarism and bondage (the feminist mantra), and so on. Conversely, what is destructive of customary order becomes enlightened transformation.

These apprentices of evil must be held to account. As Ben Shapiro argues in an important article, our “traditional framework of thinking and acting…must be restored. The burden of proof must be on those who wish to destroy, not on those who wish to maintain.”

Are the Repeated Attacks on Herschel Walker Working? 8 replies

Surveys often demonstrate Democrats do not know how right-leaning voters think. The repeated “October surprises” launched against Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker are an excellent example of this phenomenon. In recent weeks, two women have come forward to allege that Walker insisted they receive abortions. Walker campaigned on a pro-life platform this cycle and denied both claims. As a pro-life voter in Georgia, there are several reasons why I couldn’t care less about these claims. First, Walker committed to pro-life positions if Georgia elects him to the Senate. Should he fail to follow through, voters can hold him accountable next election. This situation is obviously

Mandela Barnes, the Wisconsin Democratic Senate candidate, said in 2015 that he believes "oil is destroying the world"—an apocalyptic claim that conflicts with his more recent campaign promise to try to make gas more affordable for consumers. "Oil is destroying the world in every possible way," Barnes, Wisconsin's lieutenant governor, said on Twitter in 2015. The remark is the latest evidence of Barnes's extreme opposition to domestic energy production, which he has attempted to soften on the campaign trail. The news comes as Democratic leaders have struggled with political fallout from rising energy prices, after years of demonizing and blocking domestic oil and gas projects. Since launching his campaign,

Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter was finalized last Friday, and the world’s richest man confirmed his reason for doing so: “I acquired Twitter because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence.” Musk is reacting to Twitter’s blatantly politicized censorship and bullying of conservatives and others who publicize opinions that challenge or expose progressive Democrats’ orthodoxy. Here’s hoping that Musk keeps his nerve and reforms Twitter by purging its staff and policies that arrogantly run rough-shod over the First Amendment, based on their delusional belief

Everybody was stunned on Friday morning when news broke that the 82 year old husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi had been assaulted inside of his home early in the morning with a hammer. The shock and awe grew after it seemed to become clear that the assailant was looking for the Speaker of the House herself - the third in line to the Presidency. An assailant broke into the home and asked "Where's Nancy? Where's Nancy?”, according to NBC in the Bay Area. San Francisco police Chief Bill Scott called it an “intentional” attack: "This was not a random attack. This was intentional. And it's wrong.

President Joe Biden on Saturday again tried to blame Republicans for the attack on Paul Pelosi on Friday. “You can’t condemn the violence unless you condemn those people who continue to argue the election was not real, that it’s being stolen, that all the malarkey that’s being put out there to undermine democracy,” he said. The president spoke to reporters about the attack at a polling center in Delaware, where he voted early with his granddaughter Natalie Biden. “The talk has to stop. That’s the problem,” he said. “That’s the problem.” Biden appeared annoyed the Republicans were condemning political violence without condemning some of the rhetoric coming from their colleagues.

Ballot harvesting, according to the California Democrats who'd like to take it national, is an innocent practice where union members and activists, some of them illegally present in the country, do voters the favor, see, of helping voters fill out their ballots and then collecting those ballots for them so that they need never go to the polls. They call it "a new service." It's part of their "make every vote count" agenda, and who could be against that? But out in Florida, where there's still some semblance of objectivity, investigators found another story. (Snip) The incident had every nightmare scenario that could happen with a ballot-harvesting operation

With polls showing his Pennsylvania U.S. Senate race rival Dr. Mehmet Oz taking a slight lead after his train wreck debate performance last week, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman posted a photo Saturday of a campaign sign on fire, claiming it happened Friday night at a farm in “deep red Lawrence County”. Apparently trying to ride the wave of outrage over the attack on Paul Pelosi, Fetterman used the photo to decry political violence and then posted a fundraising pitch: “This happened last night on a farm in deep red Lawrence County. There is no place for violence and intimidation in politics. Our campaign is about bringing people together and rejecting hate

At this point, it would save everyone time if Democrats could simply point to a policy agenda item that isn’t going to save democracy — if such a thing exists. If Republicans vote, they are killing democracy. If they don’t vote, they are killing democracy. The only way to “save democracy,” writes The Washington Post’s Max Boot, is to empower one-party rule — a position that probably sounds counterintuitive to anyone with a middle-school education. “Now you need to vote to literally save democracy once again,” contends President Joe Biden, or we will lose our “fundamental rights and freedoms like the right to choose,

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who became famous during the COVID-19 pandemic for saying that unvaccinated people would be second-class citizens in her country, went to study “climate change” in Antarctica — where the freezing weather caused her plane to break down. Ardern was visiting her country’s Scott Base in Antarctica to “highlight” supposed “climate change” and mark the Base’s 65th anniversary, according to Reuters. “Cooperation in Antarctica and in the Antarctic Treaty System is more important than ever as we tackle the crises of climate change and biodiversity loss,” Ardern stated.

Two men claiming they were Twitter data engineers recently let go under Elon Musk's reign may have been lying to the media. The potential pranksters were spotted outside Twitter's San Francisco office Friday carrying cardboard boxes just a day after Musk took control of Twitter for the hefty ticket price of $44 billion and ousted its top executives. One of the alleged employees identified themselves as a software engineer named "Rahul Ligma" during an interview with reporters outside, according to the Verge. However, the outlet confirmed that an employee by that name was not in Twitter’s Slack or email system and that there is no employee by that name

Hillary Clinton tweeted out her disgust with Republicans and “their mouthpieces” on Saturday, which is nothing new, but this time she is blaming them for acts of political violence in our country. She linked her tweet to an article in the L.A. Times on the deranged nutjob who broke into the Pelosi home in San Francisco and violently attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer. The Republican Party and its mouthpieces now regularly spread hate and deranged conspiracy theories. It is shocking, but not surprising, that violence is the result. In a tweet from Friday, Reiner accused the former president of “spreading The Big Lie for 2 years.” Trump’s questioning of the election results, Reiner argued, “directly” inspired the recent attack on the Pelosi home.

CBS’s Sunday Morning started off with their anchor Jane Pauley fearmongering that if Republicans win in the 2022 midterm elections, “democracy” could end in the United States. Plugging an upcoming segment by correspondent Robert Costa, Pauley fretted that “the very future of our democracy” is on the ballot in 2022.  “This past summer, it was looking like the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade might offer an opportunity to the party in power, the Democrats. But a more recent issue, inflation, could very well rule the day. And favor Republicans,” Pauley bemoaned.

The incident at the Pelosi house on early Friday morning is still puzzling at best. There now are more questions than answers. The police didn’t share how David DePape entered the house in their first press conference. They did mention that they charged him with burglary but that was it.
