Kathy Hochul on the Need to Lock Up Criminals:
‘I Don’t Know Why That’s So Important

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), when challenged on cash bail reform and her refusal to discuss locking up criminals by Rep. Lee Zeldin (R) during Tuesday night’s debate, said, “I don’t know why that’s so important to you.” “We’re halfway through the debate, and she still hasn’t talked about locking up anyone committing any crimes,” Zeldin said, to which Hochul responded, “Anyone who commits a crime under our laws, especially with the change we made to bail, has consequences. I don’t know why that’s so important to you.” (Tweet/Video)

MY God, if she can't understand why locking up criminals is important then she is as dimwitted as our moron president and she doesn't need to hold any kind of office. Let her spend the day with some of these criminals, fellons, thieves, rapists, then see if she changes her tune...my guess is not. Once a fool always a fool.

She'd rather coddle them than waste one red cent on incarcerating them. That leaves all that money to shell out for her corrupt backers.

Kathy, it is important, because when you leave criminals on the streets, criminals commit more crimes. Criminals make their living on crime. It's their business. Putting criminals in jail reduces the amount of crimes in direct proportion to the number of criminals in jail to the number of criminals. I hope this is clearer to you, Kathy, dense head.

Kathy, Kathy, Kathy.....let's put this a way you might understand. Allowing criminals to ply their trade unmolested by law enforcement will lead to more and more people who have the means to do so leaving your state. Retail businesses who are the victims of crime will eventually close, corporations will leave the state as well. I know that NY State is much more than just NYC but the city has always been a tourist mecca and they drop a lot of dollars. Isn't it wise to ensure that these visitors feel safe?? Kathy....sweetheart think of all the tax dollars, tourist dollars etc. that you are surrendering to the criminal class. We all know that dems worship money above everything else. Maybe that should be your incentive to lock up criminals.

“I don’t know why that’s so important to you” They don't care about the horrific spike in violent crime. The left believes that the crime rate is worth it and simply the cost of social justice. They take their soft-on-thugs stand as a virtue, and to hell with the suffering victims.

The Biden administration wants to cancel a Trump-era nuclear armed sea-launched cruise missile program, according to a 2022 National Defense Strategy released Thursday. The intent to cancel the weapon program was listed in the document's "Nuclear Posture Review" section. The United States would still have submarine-launched nuclear weapons. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the weapon isn't needed. "We determined, as we looked at our inventory, that we did not need that capability. We have a lot of capability in our nuclear inventory," Austin told reporters at the Pentagon.

President Joe Biden’s “11th-hour effort to shift the debate over inflation and the economy” ahead of the midterm elections is to warn voters that Republicans will “trash” the economy, according to the Washington Post. In a speech earlier this week, Biden warned that Republicans vowing to restrain Biden’s agenda using the power of the purse would result in “more chaos, more inflation and more damage to the American economy.” “It’ll be the first time in our history America will default,” he claimed. Recent polls have shown that his and Democrats’ efforts to paint Republicans as threats to democracy have failed to become a motivating issue in the upcoming elections, and that Americans
