The Biden administration wants to cancel a Trump-era nuclear armed sea-launched cruise missile program, according to a 2022 National Defense Strategy released Thursday.
The intent to cancel the weapon program was listed in the document's "Nuclear Posture Review" section. The United States would still have submarine-launched nuclear weapons.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the weapon isn't needed.
"We determined, as we looked at our inventory, that we did not need that capability. We have a lot of capability in our nuclear inventory," Austin told reporters at the Pentagon.

I don't trust them. This administration has done nothing to prove that it is pro-American.....heck, even that it IS American!

They made concessions to the Chinese??? Jackass Austin is replacing it with CRT??? The idiot always talks about 'talking, open channels for more talking'. Right. The vegetable in the WH isn't doing enough of it. Let's deplete more of our arsenal. Perhaps they want to ship it to the Ukraine??? Austin is dumber than a brick. The vegetable won't even know what Austin is explaining to him. I wonder if he bothers to inform the first jerk!

So our brilliant Defense Secretary made that determination after looking at pictures of nuclear weapons?

This is more evidence that Xiden is nothing more than a tool of his ChiCom masters.
SLCM-N would have been a significant strategic deterrent to China’s naval ambitions in the Pacific.

Of course he does.
Why should we be able to protect ourselves when so many other nations can not.
Idiot.

The entire strategy of the WH team has been to undo whatever Trump did while POTUS, and to do the opposite of everything he had planned to do in his 2nd term. Simplistic, petulant, stupid.. and likely to reap disastrous results. I wouldn't use the language here to express my feelings towards that, and most certainly not on the day we commend the soul of our bold foundress into our heavenly homeland.
Dementia Dude is liable to get us all killed before this is over.

We have no Secretary if Defense. The only thing he’s defending are the LGBTQ lifestyles. Our Wartime footing is now defined as rainbow colored boots. We are being invaded from the southern border and from Washington DC. We have much to do in 2023 and 2024.

And if we scroll down just a little further on the home page, we can see that meanwhile, Putin is practicing destroying Britain and America.
The left hates America. If you vote for them, I have to assume you do to.

If it was anyone else killing a random weapons program I wouldn't blink.
But this car of clowns? All this tells me is we must desperately need this.

As long as I can remember, making America weak has been the most important Democratic agenda item. As I recall, Carter ended the B-1, Obama ended the F-22 which China now has, Clinton cancelled his share of defense projects and gave China critical technology. It is a wonder the U.S. even exists anymore in any type of way.

Careful there, Shuffles. You might need those weapons to give to Ukraine, seeing as you’re so hot to start a nuclear war.

Right after we've drained our oil reserves, overly-woke military is falling behind on recruitments, critical parts shortages loom everywhere - call me a conspiracy nut, but what are these guys up to? Midterms not looking good for them - beware the lame duck period.

I suspect the Russians and the Chinese would be pleased to see this cancelled.

Very bad move. The globalists are, bit by bit, removing our nuclear arsenal. We are now down to about 2,200 TOTAL available nuclear warheads of all types. And they are aging out, and these criminals are preventing us from upgrading and renewing out nuclear deterrent.
They are intentionally disarming the country in the face of nuclear armed enemies who are EXPANDING their nuclear arsenals.

You always have too many weapons - until you need them.
