Just yesterday, 30 left wing House Democrats led by Rep. Pramila Jayapal (Washington), chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, sent a letter to Joe Biden requesting him to pursue a diplomatic solution to the war in Ukraine. The letter was signed by the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Cori Bush (Mo.), Ro Khanna (Calif.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), and Reps. Jamie Raskin (Md.) They called for economic and military support to Ukraine to be coupled with a diplomatic push and a direct engagement with Russia to find a solution "that is acceptable to the people of Ukraine”

A common charge in western republics has been the claim that conservatives insist on thinking rationally and have no compassion, while liberals make all their decisions on feelings, and refuse to use their heads.

Some may find this insensitive, but I couldn’t care less: did everyone at the Philadelphia Inquirer suffer a neurological event last night? By that, I mean, did the entire newsroom suffer a stroke? Democratic candidate John Fetterman debated Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in the only debate that will be held before Pennsylvania voters decide who will fill the U.S. Senate vacancy left by outgoing Republican Pat Toomey. The event was only an hour, with closed captioning being utilized to help Fetterman survive without coming off like someone recovering from a severe stroke.
The problem is it didn’t help much, as Fetterman blurted out half-thoughts and sentence fragments
There is "crazy," and there is "bat-s--- crazy." And then there is "off-the-charts, beyond delusional, holy-bleeping-cow insanity." The last was recently on display when MSNBC host Joy Reid and guest Matthew Dowd spoke about Republicans and the economy.
First, Reid accused Donald Trump of "fascism in the open" for saying he may challenge the 2022 midterm elections, starting in Philadelphia. (Why would he do that? The Democrats, though they rabidly challenged the results of the 2000, 2004, and 2016 elections, claimed that the 2008 and 2012 elections were spot on, and that the 2020 election was the single most secure and uncorrupted in all of recorded history.

For our form of self-governance to work, we need a robust news industry. Its role is to hold authority accountable and allow an informed public to make well-reasoned decisions. That’s why a free and independent press is protected by the Constitution. But our MSM has run wildly off the rails.
The MSM is no longer a purveyor of truth, but rather a developer of narratives -- and they’re shameless about it, calling such narratives “fake but accurate.” The facts may be wrong, but the story supports the chosen narrative. They no longer inform the public.

No one likes to see anyone deteriorate, physically or mentally. If you’ve lost loved ones in ways other than sudden and unexpected, you’ve seen it firsthand. If you’ve been lucky enough not to have witnessed this, you will. It’s one of those things in life that is inescapable, unfortunately. While you can’t avoid it, you don’t have to elect it. And that exactly what Democrats did with Joe Biden.
Joe’s downfall may seem like it’s been a long time coming, but it really hasn’t been.

I am writing this column in Burlington, Vermont. It is my seventh city in eight days. From my hometown of Los Angeles, I flew to Orlando, followed by Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Chicago and now Burlington.
My Salem radio talk-show host colleagues and I went from city to city in "battleground" states to speak on the forthcoming elections -- specifically about how vital it is for the survival of America that the Left and its political party be defeated. I was disowned by three close members of my family — two without explanation — and the pain of unbearable loss prompted my research. Hopefully, I can provide some understanding to many who are also experiencing this unusual attack on family and friends.(Snip) For at least 2,600 years, the family unit was intact until the woke rewrote the meaning of family and true friendship. The city’s existing homeless, with special emphasis on homeless Blacks, have noticed that there’s a gaping chasm between the quality of existing homeless shelters and the ones for the newbies—and the native New Yorkers are getting the short end of the stick.

Cast your mind back to 2020. Before the November presidential elections, the nation’s cities were convulsed by riots -- riots spread by leftist provocateurs, facilitated by Democrat mayors, and condoned by congressional Democrats. George Floyd’s death was an excuse. Mayhem was a regular feature for months in the news.
Some Democrats expressed guarded sympathy for rioters. Most others stayed silent. Silence lends consent, and Antifa and BLM got plenty of it. Regardless, the argument went that in the name of racial justice it was virtuous
In terms of being good at messaging the Inflation Reduction Act, the Biden-Harris administration has not been doing well. First, the name is just...not true. Townhall reported multiple evaluations of the legislation that found it would have marginal to zero impact on inflation, and may even increase inflationary pressure that's already running for 40-year highs.

Candace Owens isn't Black Lives Matter's biggest problem this month; its own website and social media posts are. These are not exactly new revelations because the information has been online for years but, when American Thinker readers help take it viral, it's the end of the world for this race hustling anti-Semitic fraud, and egg on the face of every organization and political figure that has gotten behind it. These could claim reasonably, at least until now, that they didn't know, but now they no longer have this excuse. They need to get clear of this impending public relations catastrophe immediately if not sooner

I can recall the Trump administration being full of content as a writer for a conservative news site and commentary. Because someone was always worrying about the past president, there was always something to talk about. I was worried about Joe Biden’s inauguration, as it was too boring.

Governor, and Dr. Oz, his Republican challenger, will face off without a live audience. In an unusual twist, the Fetterman campaign is lowering expectations before the debates happens.Fetterman, once expected to trounce Oz in the race to be Pennsylvania’s next senator, now runs as though he is the underdog. Since he suffered a serious stroke, his ability to serve in the Senate has been called into question. All polls still show Fetterman ahead of Oz, though only just barely.
Perhaps that time Hillary Clinton wandered the woods alone with a bottle of wine after the 2016 election should have been seen as a red flag.
The twice-defeated presidential candidate and darling of the national press is back, and she’s crazier than ever. In what can only be described as a bizarre release, Clinton put out a video directly claiming that “right-wing extremists” have a “plan to literally steal the next presidential election.”

Two weeks before the most important off-year elections in the history of the nation isn’t a good time for Democrats to realize that the narrative that they’ve been relentlessly pushing has been a complete failure, but that’s the reality for a party that bet everything on portraying the January 6, 2021 chaos at the Capitol as a serious effort to overthrow “democracy” and is only now beginning to realize that voters could care less.
