In terms of being good at messaging the Inflation Reduction Act, the Biden-Harris administration has not been doing well. First, the name is just...not true. Townhall reported multiple evaluations of the legislation that found it would have marginal to zero impact on inflation, and may even increase inflationary pressure that's already running for 40-year highs. Even before it was signed into law, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer spilled the beans and heralded the legislation that pretended to address inflation

Kamala's favorite part of the Inflation Reduction Act is that it reduces inflation, because reducing inflation is important in reducing inflation so prices can come down to reduce inflation.

Electric school busses? They will never work here in Tennessee way too hilly. I can't wait until some left-wing run school system goes to EVs and they fail spectacularly .

Here is her direct quote: "The Inflation Reduction Act is an act that is about reducing inflation. By acting on reducing inflation this administration shall cause the reduction of inflation (caused by republicans and Putin) which will reduce the inflation causing most to worry about the rise in inflation which actually was zero. Because rising inflation (which really isn't rising) is causing inflated anxiety and it is our duty to reduce the anxiety that is rising and it needs to be reduced ASAP. Hence The Inflation Reduction Act which will inflate inflation even higher but in reality that is not a problem as we in government get massive kickbacks from the inflated crap laws we pass. s/o

She knows there is a new federal law exists called the "Inflation Reduction Act" and it includes incentives to manufacture more school busses powered by batteries. That's about as much as she knows about this law, and it's certain she has not read more than a few of its pages.

What Happens When Democrats Lose Bigly? 17 replies

Cast your mind back to 2020. Before the November presidential elections, the nation’s cities were convulsed by riots -- riots spread by leftist provocateurs, facilitated by Democrat mayors, and condoned by congressional Democrats. George Floyd’s death was an excuse. Mayhem was a regular feature for months in the news. Some Democrats expressed guarded sympathy for rioters. Most others stayed silent. Silence lends consent, and Antifa and BLM got plenty of it. Regardless, the argument went that in the name of racial justice it was virtuous

Candace Owens isn't Black Lives Matter's biggest problem this month; its own website and social media posts are. These could claim reasonably, at least until now, that they didn't know, but now they no longer have this excuse. The View" host Joy Behar recently intimated that she finds the economic concerns of voters "sad and depressing” when compared to the threat to democracy she believes Republicans pose. The ditzy one added that people simply don't know "what the stakes are" ahead of the midterm elections. When ABC News political director Rick Klein stated that he believes Republicans were likely going to take the House in the upcoming election, Behar sneeringly asked him, "When your reporters say, you know, you tell me they’re [voters] worried about gas, they’re worried about this, they’re worried about that, do the reporters follow up and say

In the larger drama we’ll call “Russiagate” Igor Danchenko gets nowhere near top billing. Even today, after his week-long trial, not one American out of ten could identify this FBI informant by name. Fewer still could tell you word one about the drama’s other walk-ons, Sergei Millian and Charles Dolan. Although the Democrats and major media are anxious to see all three of these minor players vanish into the ether, Special Counsel John Durham made future stars out of them all. Danchenko was accused of lying to the FBI about his relationships with both Millian and Dolan. These are lies, said Durham’s co-counsel Michael Keilty in his opening statement

Anti-liberty authoritarians of the fascist far left are just starting to lash out in defeat. The corrupt and criminal DOJ and FBI under Biden went too far when they raided President Trump’s iconic home – Mar-a-Lago. This was unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful. As we reported right after the criminal DOJ and FBI raided his home, the DOJ way overstepped the law. This group of Obama gangsters took from the President what many believe were documents that showed their many crimes before and after President Trump was elected in 2016. President Trump is right also when he claims this even shows the double standards with Biden and Obama’s DOJ and FBI.

Pelosi's rogue Jan. 6 panel has added to its previous illegitimate actions, violating the terms of the House resolution establishing the committee, by issuing a subpoena to former president Trump. If this wayward action by this rabid, partisan committee is upheld by the courts, we shall have an unconstitutional amendment to the Constitution providing for parliamentary government, with the president answerable to Congress. Erased by congressional fiat, supported by the Judiciary, will be the important concept of separation of powers established by the Founding Fathers.

An FBI intelligence analyst testifying in the special counsel probe by John Durham says he never really checked the fake story about the so-called “Steele dossier” in the Trump Russia collusion hoax — including the infamous and non-existent “pee tape” — and assumed FBI sources were telling the truth. This, even though the FBI offered a $1 million payday to verify it (it went uncollected), proving the FBI knew it was “salacious and unverified” in the words of former FBI chief James Comey. But knowing that, the FBI used the dossier against Donald Trump

I have heard it said many times over the years that President Bill Clinton and his inner circle were apprehensive about the rise of the internet right from its infancy. While university clubs and lonely tech pioneers were generating public excitement by connecting people all over the planet, Clinton and his crew feared the internet for what it signified: an end to the government's monopoly over information. If just any old citizen could broadcast news to the world over cyberspace, none of the government's traditional methods for regulating knowledge would continue to work.

The ACIP voted to add the COVID-19 injections to the childhood schedule, which determines what vaccines a state mandates for children to attend school. Main stream media is pretending that states determine what vaccines are used, but the truth is that pediatricians use the CDC schedule and state public health officials use this schedule. State public health systems use the schedule to determine which vaccines to require for children to enter schools. Yes, some states have more stringent requirements than others. Some states allow for “opt-outs,” but in the end, most states follow the CDC guidelines. The ACIP functionally establishes “standard of care” in this area.

Given the state of America in 2022, conservatives should stop calling themselves conservatives. Why? Because the conservative project has largely failed, and it is time for a new approach. Conservatives have long defined their politics in terms of what they wish to conserve or preserve--individual rights, family values, religious freedom, and so on.(Snip)To talk of defending “religious freedom” is to misapprehend that the real risk today is widespread irreligion, which will leave so few religious Americans in the coming generations that the government and large corporations will inevitably--and easily--persecute them.
