Defund The IRS: GOP Has A Duty To Curb
The Runaway Agency

Either having forgotten or maybe entirely unaware of why the colonies fought for independence, Joe Biden said some years ago that paying higher taxes was “patriotic.” Now as president, Biden wants to enforce his version of patriotism by siccing the IRS on the country. If only we could declare our independence from politicians so ravenous for other people’s money that they’ll say and do anything. Among the many shameful and damnable provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act passed in August by the Democrats is an extra $80 billion for the IRS. That’s more than six times its current annual budget, and will boost the agency’s enforcement funding by 69%

Now there’s a idea I can get behind. There was no good reason for Biden & Co to hire 87,000 more IRS agents except to harass conservatives, who will be the only ones targeted by said agents. But without the IRS, and perhaps with a flat tax or a VAT, the IRS wouldn’t even be needed. When Republicans take back the House and maybe even the Senate next month, defund the IRS, the EPA, the FCC, the NEA, the teachers’ organizations, the FBI and the DOJ. Revamp them all with a hand-off liberty-minded modus operandi that takes the people and the Constitution seriously.

Defund or eliminate. We need to go to a Fair Tax. That would get rid of about 85% of the IRS BEFORE they hired those extra 87k agents.

Why stop at the IRS? Defund the FBI and DOJ as well. These organizations won't need nearly as much money after firing about half of the people in them.

Get rid of the IRS, replace it with a 10% sales tax, NO Deductions, No write off's. Everyone pays when they buy including Corporations and there is NO WAY to not pay your 10%, DONE! As a related issue, FBLIE and DUHJ must be tied down. No investigations until any issue is adjudicated via court to be sure the Criminals in those agencies aren't using their power illegally. If so, Death Penalty, No Pardons!

The GOPe...the party that celebrates record tax collections and "surpluses"...which are overtaxation. Great for expanding spending. What ought to be is contrary to "good public financing practices."

When President Biden announced he was pardoning those charged under federal law with possession of marijuana, he added that he’s looking into “how marijuana is scheduled under federal law,” which to many meant he’s moving toward decriminalizing. “Too many lives have been upended because of our failed approach to marijuana.” Biden is right about lives being upended because of the federal government’s current approach to pot, and that putting marijuana in the same category as heroin makes little sense. But anyone pushing for legalized marijuana should look at what’s going on in California before cheering this on.

Concerns over President Joe Biden’s recent very public displays of possibly age-related mental impairments have jumped among voters since mid-summer, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. And these worries aren’t partisan, with a majority of all political groups, including Democrats, now expressing concern. In early August, we asked Americans: “Some people are concerned about President Biden’s mental health. How concerned are you about President Biden’s mental health?” At the time, a number of public displays of unsteadiness, confusion, and verbal gaffes seen in the media suggested to many that the nation’s commander-in-chief’s mental acuity was questionable.

Yet, to Google’s content police, Ramirez’s cartoons are “shocking content” and it is restricting ads on a page where a catalog of them appears. How do we know this? Because it’s against our site that Google has taken this action. Google’s AdSense network – which is used by some 3.5 million websites to generate revenue – defines “shocking content” as content that:

The Democratic Party’s faithful are whistling past the graveyard, hoping with all their might we’ll avoid an economic slide. As a matter of general economics, we’re already in a recession. And it looks like things will soon get worse, not better. “We hope we can have what they say, ‘a soft landing,’ a transition to a place where we don’t lose the gains that I ran to make in the first place for middle-class folks, being able to generate good-paying jobs and — expansion,” President Joe Biden told CBS’ 60 Minutes last month. Good luck with that, Mr. President. Even members of your own party think it’s hogwash.

There’s a reason the right to free speech is enshrined in the First Amendment. The founders had a deep understanding of human nature, and they knew that those in power would, if unencumbered, use their authority to silence the opposition. What the founders couldn’t have foreseen was that Big Tech companies would be so eager to aid and abet government censorship schemes. Long before the Biden administration’s “Disinformation Governance Board” made its short-lived appearance on the public stage, bureaucrats in the bowels of the Department of Homeland Security had been busy trying to figure out how to stop the spread of dangerous “disinformation.”

Earth’s climate is always changing. But despite the warming hysterics’ wild claims, it’s not changing at an alarming rate. Remember, when they cite United Nations reports warning of soaring temperatures and rising sea levels, the projections cover many decades, not just a few years. Of course there was a moment when the climate did change rapidly. It was so long ago, though, none of us can remember it. Yet it happened. Many centuries before the first oil well was drilled. Almost 1,500 years ago. The foundation of the global warming obsession on the left is largely based on U.N. predictions

One standard of justice for one group, but another for a different group? Even though that sounds distinctly un-American, many voters believe that’s happening today in America’s courts and legal venues. And it seems to be getting worse, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll suggests. In June, a Golden/TIPP Poll (TIPP is Issues & Insights’ polling partner) asked Americans if “There is a two-tiered system of justice in America depending on your political affiliation and ideology?” At the time, a sizable majority of 63% agreed, either “strongly” (28%) or “somewhat” (35%), with that statement. Only 17% disagreed, while 21% said they were “not sure.” But something intervened

The day after Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida, President Joe Biden issued his forecast: “This could be the deadliest hurricane in Florida’s history.” Was he hoping it would be? Or is he just ignorant of the history of hurricanes? “The numbers are still unclear,” Biden said, “but we’re hearing early reports of what could be substantial loss of life.” So far, the death toll in Florida from Ian is a little more than 20. That number will no doubt rise, but it is far short of the deadliest, and might be one of the least deadly hurricanes to hit that hurricane-prone state. The deadliest record was set in

So, will they try to run on their record of “accomplishment”? Brent Budowsky, a columnist for The Hill, says they should. Did the Aug. 8 raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home damage his electoral chances for 2024 and those of the Republican Party in the upcoming midterm elections? Data from the recent I&I/TIPP Poll suggest the answer is no. First of all, comparison data from the I&I/TIPP Polls (one taken of 1,182 registered voters online from August 2-4, the other of 1,145 voters from September 7-9) show that those who thought the FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate would badly tarnish his image in the public eye and damage his future prospects were likely wrong.
